It was great experience to surprise your loved ones with Indiacakes

I ordered a spiderman themed cake worth Rs1147 from this site .they offered free delivery at the time of placing the order.The next (delivery day) they are asking for extra 275 rs claiming that the location is far away .we tried them calling but not responding and even their online assistance was poor.I was not ready to pay the delivery charges because i lost the trust in this website.I asked for refund but they are not responding to it.what a bad service.This company reuined the big event .anyway i am moving legally.

Both cake and bouquet was good, cake was delicious and bouquet was also fresh.

Also the flowers were very bad condition all flowers quality was down

I am going to complain to consumer forum despite my multiple instructions you people didn't pay attention to my instructions.

IndiaCake Review – Beware of Hidden Fees and Flavour Changes!

I ordered a Black Forest cake from IndiaCake through their official website and made full payment online. At the time of booking, there was no mention of any delivery charges.

But during delivery, they suddenly demanded ₹275 as same-day delivery charges. When I refused to pay the hidden amount and requested cancellation, they replied saying “same-day orders cannot be cancelled.”

Even after my cancellation request, they delivered a completely different cake – Vanilla worth ₹300, without my consent or approval. This is unprofessional, misleading, and unacceptable.

👉 I have two serious questions for @IndiaCake:

1. Why was the delivery charge not shown at the time of booking?

2. On what basis did you change the flavour without asking me?

This kind of service is not expected from a professional online bakery. I request a full refund and a proper explanation.

If you’re planning to order from IndiaCake, please be cautious.

I have already submitted a review and doing this again because their customer service is bad and it's no use calling them. In my last review they replied saying they will check the issue, it's 2 days now, they have simply mailed me a coupon code with no explanation, in what belief will i order from a fake company. They should refund or explain the least for scamming. Even now i don't believe they will do the right thing because they don't have the guts to face questions.

Very very very Bad service. I have ordered a cake as shown in website but they sent me a very cheap local cake. On customer call service they talk very rudely.

Extremely disappointed with the service.
I am an NRI and often use online platforms to send cakes and gifts to my family in India. I’ve had consistently good experiences with providers like Winni, Ferns N Petals, etc.—they're affordable, reliable, and provide excellent support.
This time, I decided to try Indiacakes.com, and it turned out to be a terrible mistake.
I ordered a cake, flowers, chocolates & sweets combo, and the website showed delivery was available to the selected postcode. Even though their prices are on the higher side, I went ahead and paid extra for a guaranteed delivery window of 2–4 PM.
However, within 10 minutes of booking, I received an email demanding an additional Rs 275/- because the delivery address was supposedly “far from their center.” That immediately raised red flags, and when I checked online reviews (unfortunately after placing the order & payment), I realized this seems to be their regular tactic.
I contacted customer service, only to be told bluntly that if I didn't pay the extra amount, the order wouldn’t be delivered—and they don’t offer cancellations or refunds either. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had—the agent spoke as though I owed them money rather than being a paying customer.
Reluctantly, I paid the additional Rs 275/- hoping they would at least fulfill the delivery on time.
But it only got worse.
Despite multiple follow-ups—including international calls from my end—the delivery finally happened around 9:30 PM, completely missing the intended celebration. And to top it off, the roses were never delivered at all.
Ironically, they claimed the delivery address was too far and hence the extra charge, yet the cake ended up being sent from a bakery located even further 3-4km inside from the center. What a joke.
There was no communication, no apology, and absolutely no accountability from their side. A special occasion was ruined due to this company’s negligence and poor ethics.
I am demanding a full refund for the undelivered and delayed items, and I strongly urge others to avoid Indiacakes.com at all costs. This has been a highly frustrating and disappointing experience.
