My experience with RedBus was very disappointing. We booked a ride from Rishikesh to Ayodhya and made the full payment to the company for the Mahalakshmi Travels bus. However, the bus staff dropped us off in Lucknow and told us to board another bus. When we reached the second bus, they said our seats were not confirmed. This was completely unacceptable, especially since we had already paid the full fare. Overall, our experience with Mahalakshmi Travels was very bad.

After a day , red bus confirmed with operator on call that they will give me the refund within 5-7 working days.They said operator will give refund directly. But till today I have not got any refund.such a pathetic experience with red bus. I have stopped using it now

Extremely pathetic customer service. I had booked AC bus and within 2 hours of journey, the bus stopped midway. they ,ade us wait for hours and then we had to go in an uncomfortable non ac. I have been asking them for a refund for one way, no one reponds.

Very bad experience with RedBus. I canceled my ticket as per the policy, but I have still not received my refund. Customer support was not helpful, and there was no clear update about my money. This caused a lot of frustration and inconvenience. I expected better service and a timely refund. I would not recommend RedBus to others until they improve their refund process.

RedBus is the most bus service when it comes to refund I reached my boarding point to realise that the bust has been cancelled without providing me any notification since the time I book 24 hours in advance and now I have to change them every 24 hours for the refund and I am getting to hear that they have not got any confirmation from the bus operator I have been doing this for past 1 month and now I have top doing it thinking that I have donated rupees 2000 to a beggar named redBus which is one of the most worst platform in India for doing a bus booking especially if you can not expect any refund for bus cancellation

Complaint Regarding Bus Cancellation Without Intimation and Request for Compensation
Dear RedBus Support Team,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction regarding my recent travel booking from Hyderabad to Bangalore with RMS Transport through the RedBus platform on 19th June.
As per the booking details, the bus pickup was scheduled at approximately 9:55 pm from Shamshabad Toll Plaza. I reached the boarding point 15 minutes before the scheduled time and waited for an additional 25 minutes. During this time, the live tracking information provided by RedBus was inaccurate and misleading.
I repeatedly attempted to contact the bus operator using the contact details provided on the RedBus app, but none of the calls were answered. Eventually, one representative informed me that the bus had been cancelled. I was shocked to learn this, as neither RedBus nor RMS Transport had provided any prior notification regarding the cancellation.
After contacting RedBus customer support, I was informed that they had also not received any update from the operator and that I would need to make my own alternative travel arrangements. This left me stranded at the boarding point without any support.
Since it was a weekend, finding an alternative bus to Bangalore was extremely difficult. After considerable effort and inconvenience, I managed to secure a seat on another bus by paying ₹2,000, which was significantly higher than my original fare.
I was assured by RedBus that the refund would be processed within 72 hours. However, till date, I have neither received the refund nor any communication regarding the status of my complaint.
I therefore request the following:
Immediate refund of my original ticket fare.
Reimbursement of my auto fare from Mehdipatnam to Shamshabad Toll Plaza.
Compensation for the additional amount paid to secure alternative transportation.
An explanation regarding the cancellation without prior intimation and the lack of support provided by both RedBus and RMS Transport.
This is unfortunately not my first unpleasant experience with RedBus. I have been using your platform for nearly six years, but this incident has seriously damaged my trust in your service. Due to this experience, I have already shifted to other transport operators and am considering uninstalling the RedBus application permanently.
I request you to resolve this matter at the earliest. Failing a satisfactory resolution, I will be compelled to escalate the matter through appropriate consumer grievance channels and share my experience with others.

This was one of the worst travel experiences with Intrcity. I had with this travel booked. My parents, both senior citizens, had booked a bus for an emergency journey from Delhi to Lucknow. Unfortunately, the bus broke down around 1:45 a.m. near the Jewar Toll Plaza in Gautam Buddha Nagar.
When we contacted customer support, we were informed that they were trying to arrange a mechanic. However, they could not provide any timeline for repairs and stated that if a mechanic was not found immediately, passengers would have to wait until morning. This was an unacceptable response, especially considering the late hour and the presence of elderly passengers.
After waiting for over two hours with no concrete assistance or alternative arrangements from the bus staff or company representatives, my parents had to arrange their own transportation. Around 4:00 a.m., they managed to board a government bus and continue their journey.
We later requested a full refund due to the inconvenience, safety concerns, and the company's failure to provide an alternative mode of transport. While a refund was eventually processed, the company deducted the fare for the portion of the journey completed before the breakdown.
This raises a serious concern: who bears the cost of the additional travel expenses, the stress, and the safety risks faced by passengers when no contingency plan is in place? If a travel company operates long-distance services, it should have proper emergency protocols and passenger support systems, especially for vulnerable travelers such as senior citizens.
Overall, the handling of this situation was highly disappointing and fell far short of reasonable customer service expectations.

I had a worst bus booking experience by Redbus and Maharani Travels. My bus ticket was canceled after 30 minutes from the departure time without any notification regarding the bus delay. Customer care service provided by Rebus and bus company was RIDICULOUS. I had collected the calls recording and ontime upcoming journey msg recd beyond the journey time for future correspondence. My journey plan was foiled and I paid 3 times to other bus service for the same journey.

My pickup point was Bharat Petrol Pump at 6:00 PM for my bus journey from Haridwar to Jammu on 15 June. However, when I called the bus operator, they informed me of a completely different pickup location. There was extremely heavy traffic, and it would have taken me around 2–3 hours to reach the new location. When I asked for confirmation whether the bus would wait for me, I received no clear response.
I was only told over the phone that I would receive a full refund. However, what about the inconvenience, stress, and time wasted because of this situation? The entire experience was terrible. I have been using redBus since my college days and have always trusted it, but after this experience, I do not think I will ever use it again.
I have still not received my refund. The driver claimed that I booked the ticket late, but when I made the booking, the pickup point was clearly shown as Bharat Petrol Pump. Even afterward, I continued receiving messages stating that the pickup point was ready. Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience, and I expect a prompt resolution along with my refund. I also have screenshots of my ticket booking, pickup point details . also spoke with redBus customer care over the phone regarding this issue, and I can provide all available evidence if required.

Bus timings was 10:30 PM to reach Thirumangalam Toll Plaza but the bus reached at 11:30 PM, almost 1 hour late. driver and conductor both are responding the calls. Later on at 3:28 am, the bus got breakdown and took almost 30 mins to recovered and reached Electronic city at 8:15 AM almost 2:15 hrs late.
If anyone want to travel or planning to travel in Swami Ayappa bus, plz save yourself and pleaseeeee do not Travel in this bus at all, me paid Rs.4800/- for 4 people but got the worst service and travel experience.
