In a word or should I say person it was Lewis who made my experience so good. He is very professional and has so much knowledge regarding solar panels. He inspected and measured then went away and completed a detailed plan on how the panels would work and the savings to be made nothing was too much trouble for him. They are lucky to have such a dedicated member of staff. Thank you Lewis.

Wonderful outgoing messages stating passionate about good service. The reality is somewhat different.
Inherited them from an outgoing tenant. Had no contract with them and did not want them. Unbelievable list of info required to prove who I was, threatened with £50 fine if a monthly bill paid late, took months to get rid of. Give them a miss.
Never signed up with them, but they are still confusing matters
Got a phone call to say they had taken over my account, but I never signed a contract with them or asked for them to do this.
I was informed in the same call that they had ceased trading and so all contracts were "null and void" and I needed to sign a new contract. I told them I had signed up to BG-Lite and was not interested.
Somehow they were still able to gain ownership of my account and now I learn they had passed my details over to E.ON another company I am not interested in joining up to.

No credit paid back due to Hub Energy Demise
I decided to change my Gas & Electric provider from Hub Energy to Green energy and the switch went ok and live on 31st July 2021. I received Hub's final bill on August 10th (all well & good)and they stated my credit of £37.36 would be paid into my bank in ten days. But then they went T up and into liquidation. I have sent all the information to EON Next and also to my new provider Green Energy but I have not had any response to give me confidence I will every get my credit back. My next step is the Onbudsman. Quite frankly I'm not holding my breath and all the promises given by the regulator years ago that us mugs will have protection is a load of whitewash..AN UPDATE 25TH OCTOBER. EON NEXT HAVE PAID MY CREDIT OF£37.36. OWED FROM HUB ENERGY. FULL MAKKS & THANK YOU.
Hub have gone into administration
Hub have gone into administration.
they have ripped £44.55 off my balance SO FAR.
My 12 month contract finishes 30 August 21.
I paid a MONTH IN ADVANCE at the start of the contract.
I had a balance of £272.20 credit on 11 August 21.
The balance dropped to £181.70 on 12 August 21
They have not generated my final bill which should be £45.95
OFGEM promised that our balance would be protected. Hollow promise.
Migrated my business account from British Gas
Migrated my business account from British Gas after having good results in the past with domestic electricity and gas.
The migration support was appalling. The business service rep did not respond to emails, did not return my calls, had his wrong phone number on his emails.
Gas migrated ok on second attempt, but electricity did not but and no one noticed for 3 months. It cost me about £1000 in penalty out-of-tariff charges from British Gas who were milking the fact I wanted to leave but weren’t letting me.
I had to drive this completely making every phone call, email. No call backs, no updates, not even replies to messages. By the end my emails were being tagged with “please confirm you have seen this email” type comments as I got the impression I was dealing with a sponge.

Poor customer service and communication with the company. I have notified that I have moved out and new person is in the property and yet they’ve rejected my application due to new energy supplier taking over. How can I pay for electric that I’m not using, can someone explain?

As a new customer. I found the website easy to use and the transaction from my old supplier, to HUB energy very quick and simply. The online account is better than previous energy suppliers I have been with. So far very happy.

I have been with hub energy for 3 years but sadly there tariffs have gone up so I have had to look around for cheaper tariffs and I have found one that will suit me so I will be moving on I have had trouble with the installation with my smart meters which has not been there fault but the company they use to install them its been 8 months and 7 engineers and still does nor work that is not the reason for me leaving they have been helpful and friendly

The switchover went smoothly. I had to call their support team to solve a problem which was my mistake, not theirs, and they were very friendly and helpful.

I would of given hub energy 5 stars but there website to submit meter reading's and your account could be a little better. I submitted electric reading which went through but tried to do gas reading, it came up with we have no meters. Had to make phone call to customer services. Very professional and helpful and sorted the small issues out. Overall very good competitive company with cheap standing charges and tariffs would certainly recommend hub energy to family and friends. Rather than using the big established energy companies.
Good for low electricity use
I was looking for a supplier for a workshop with low energy usage to take over from Ebico/British Gas and these people fit the bill at the moment. The changeover was very simple and speedy and so far there are no problems
