Ben al jarenlang tevreden gebruiker van Homey. Eerst een Homey 2016, toen 2019 en nu de 2023.
En die eerste wordt zelfs nog steeds ondersteund!
Een hele actieve community met veel behulpzame (mede-) gebruikers en vele developers van apps (lees ondersteuning voor smarthome devices).
Eens je Homey gekocht hebt en gemerkt hoe gebruiksvriendelijk Homey is, wil je niet meer terug!

Bought a Homey Pro 2023 as a Christmas present for myself! Haven't had time to try it yet but expect it to work just as well as my "old" Homey Pro early 2018. Athom has friendly and fast customer service if you need help.

Ik heb al jaren een Homey 2019 en nu over naar de 2023. De advanced flows werken helemaal super: het blijft vaak een uitzoekding, maar met een beetje hobby kun je er echt geweldige automatiseringen mee maken. De helpdesk reageert goed. EN: ze ondersteunen in de laatste app ook IOs 12 nog altijd. Dat ging laatst even mis, maar ze hebben het netjes opgelost. De Homey 2016 en 2019 worden ook nog jaren ondersteund: kom daar bij andere bedrijven maar eens voor. Ik heb we 1 app van de community die niet meer voor Pro 2023 geschikt is. Dus er kan nog altijd wat beter.Heel positief is de actrieve en behulpzame community. Beetje hobby moet je hebben, en opletten bij aanschaf van appraten of er (al) een app voor is, maar dan kan het extreem veel op een relatief makkelijke manier.

Gelijk bij het eerste apparaat (Shelly stekker) toevoegen ging het mis. Via de Homey app inloggen bij de Shelly cloud, gelukt met direct een Homey scherm dat de pagina gesloten kon worden. In de app bleef echter staan dat ik moest inloggen op de website van de fabrikant.
Nergens contact op te nemen met Homey om aan te geven dat het niet werkt.

Update 04-01-2024: Kan nu wel verbinding maken en het lijkt allemaal te werken. Zonsondergang flows met variabele tijd aan/uit zijn goed! Beoordeling aangepast naar 4 sterren.
Combinatie van Tado en Sonos spraakmelding werkt goed.

Long time ago I used Tellstick which was good for my demands at that time. But after a while I needed a better platform and after some searching I found Homey (2018).
The platform was so much easier to configure, with support for nearly all brands I know off.
With the advanced flows tool it became even easier to do exactly what you need.
Homey supports making your own apps to control anything you like too.

I recently upgraded my old Homey to Homey2023 and expected everything to be faster, to react swifter. And it really does. Much faster than I hoped for, it reacts instantly.

Someone wrote "Home automation is addictiv".
With Homey, yes!

Contact with support was quick, even though it was indicated in advance that it was busy, great!

Al jaren ben ik een zeer tevreden gebruiken van homey pro. In 2019 ben ik begonnen met een homey pro 2019 en afgelopen jaar ben ik overgestapt op het nieuwe 2023 model. Er is een zeer actieve community op athom zijn eigen forum maar ook op facebook groepen zoals 'homey gebruikers' krijg je binnen een dag soms wel tientallen reacties. Ik heb zowel internet, zigbee, zwave, als infrarood apparatuur gekoppeld en heb bediening via zowel spraak als een dashboard: verlichting, alarm, verwarming, gordijnen, zonwering etc etc. Het programmeren is veel gemakkelijker dan homeassistant. Toch vergt het wel even wat moeite en ervaringen van anderen om dit goed te gebruiken.
Een homey bridge zou ik zelf niet snel aanraden. Dit moet echt gezien worden als een product voor een beginner.

Using different apps and bridges was not very convienent especially for my family. Now everything can be done at one place. And with the widgets it makes fun.
The flows and advanced flows are amazing. Before my smart outdoor lamps struggled with sunset timer. But now I can use the brightness value from my outdoor sensor to switch those lamps.

Before going with Homey I was mainly looking at switching over to Home Assistant from my old Alexa Echo Plus setup. The price might be a bit steep for some people, but if you look at other prebuild solutions like the Home Assistant Yellow you are quickly in the same ballpark.

The user experience of the Homey Pro has been great so far and compared to what you can do in the Alexa app the Advanced Flows are a good send.

My only critiques are that I wish homey was a bit more responsive to feature/device requests, would be more active in the community forums and maybe have better out of the box experience for basic Zigbee devices besides lights. That said, there is an app/integration for pretty much any device manufacturer I can think of and was able to add all my devices to Homey without too much of a problem.

It's a dream to unpack, setup och use!
Whatever you want to do, however small or big your project is, Homey Pro is the solution.
With support for all major home-automation standards like zigbee, z-wave, 433MHz and future standards like Matter, Homey can control anything.
There is also an app store with extensions for almost everything.
You can't go wrong with Homey, and Homey Pro will let you realize whatever you think of. As i friend said: "Be careful - home automation is adictive", and once you start it's hard to stop. :)

Ik ben enorm onder de indruk van de Homey. Het apparaat heeft mijn hele huis getransformeerd in een naadloos verbonden en geautomatiseerde omgeving. De installatie was verrassend eenvoudig en de compatibiliteit met verschillende protocollen zoals Z-Wave, Zigbee, en Wi-Fi maakt het mogelijk om bijna al mijn slimme apparaten te integreren. Wat ik het meest waardeer, is het gebruiksgemak van de app, waarmee ik moeiteloos scenario's en routines kan instellen. Het heeft mijn energieverbruik verminderd en mijn dagelijkse leven veel gemakkelijker gemaakt. Bovendien is de klantenservice van Athom uitstekend; ze zijn altijd bereid om te helpen en vragen snel te beantwoorden. Kortom, Homey is een gamechanger voor mijn huisautomatisering en ik zou het iedereen aanraden die zijn huis slim wil maken.

I moved over to Homey Pro from using Samsung SmartThings. The reason for leaving SmartThings is that they started making integrations very difficult and much of what I had built out stopped working as a result of the constant changes. Homey Pro offers the ability to build out very simple to very complex integrations through apps or APIs and build out flows that were only possible through a complex app that required developer level knowledge to do with SmartThings. The environment has become very stable and is very user friendly.

Excellent product. Easy to learn, easy to use.

I love the ease of use on the app and the fact that it runs local. It would be an easy 5 star if there were mor US company apps available. Many of the key US home automation retailers are not available.

Works very well, few problems and good support. Solves many problems one previously had with getting different smart systems to work together. Recommended!😊

I am very satisfied with my first Homey Pro (2023). Almost all of my Smart Home devices can be combined by using the 'Flows'. Now I can really say that I'm living in a modern, smart home.

Really good product. I come from Eedomus+ which I was finding hard to manage with an old interface, and limited in possible connections, forcing me to buy additional Broadlink for IR and RF, a Hue bridge, or even a raspberry to manage looking at Bluetooth presence system…
With Homey, I get a modern and homogeneous interface, I get rid of 3 bridges (reducing power usage), and stopping having to deal with learning strange languages and APIs…
Well not completely for this last point: the Homey Pro 2023 is not able to learn IR or RF signals, so I had to develop myself an app to simulate my RF controler, and it was not so easy !

I’ve tried many smart home solutions and this is by far the best for a semi-beginner.
Endless possibilities for automations in your home and so much fun building the best smart home with graphic user interface. The little experience I have from the customer support is amazing aswell. Would recommend anyone to get a Homey Pro!

Homey har styret alt i mit hjem siden 2018. Vores hus er bygget uden én eneste afbryder, så eneste måde vi kan tænde og slukke lyset på, er gennem Homey'en - og det sker fuldstændig automatisk.

Homey'en styrer alt fra lys, over dørlåsen til hvornår mine planter skal ha' gødning.

Søg evt. på Google efter "dr.dk spastemning", for at se et indslag fra 21 Søndag, hvor jeg fremviste Danmarks måske første 100% Homey styrede hus.
