Holloway Friendly Arvostelua 

I am with Holloway Friendly for last 4 years. Unfortunately due to severe injury I had to start a claim as I was left unable to work. The procedure of claiming was easy no hassles and they have been very helpful in my most difficult time. I cannot thank enough for thier service.

utter crap.wont pay out because i didnt earn enough last year.

Holloway Friendly is the worst health insurance provider, very poor communication and no customer service. Pathetic company. Already complained to Ombudsman and Citizens Advice. Half a year gone and still no monthly payments, any advices, but they are happy to keep taking the direct debits,🤡 while you are on sick note and not having any income. I have been reading people’s reviews on google/trustpilot/social media’s and found that a lot of them having EXACTLY the same problem as me. My sick note is about "x" reason, but they found random "y" and keep saying that I didn’t made them aware from, while "y" is one of the "x" symptoms about which I wrote in my application few times and added all related documents regarding the health issue. My claim is absolutely about another reason, which must be covered by their policy. They requested medical history from GP, but it wasn’t enough evidence for them. 🤡 They sent additional request to my medical practice, but not paying for their own request and keep delaying the process for months again.🤣 While everything should be done in 30 days. Half a year gone, Holloway "Friendly" 🤡
Waste of time and money. Extremely disappointed, unprofessional service. Also they keep insulting you with phone calls every day, even when you clearly wrote that you want get all further information via email.
If you want to protect your health/life from unexpected injuries or circumstances and looking for an insurance, you definitely should choose a different company.

What’s that got to do with them as receiving that as a little help because of loss of income because of pandemic
Terrible treatment again as heard from many others how difficult they make it for you to fulfil a sickness claim and also annual bonus’s way below premium I pay which also keeps rising

I'm a person that never leaves reviews, I am writing this as the result of very poor treatment from this company. Think very carefully before offering any money to Holloway Friendly. They have happily taken money for years having been advised of my medical history. When the time comes to make a claim, they have used specific wording of a previous, undiagnosed condition (one which I wasn't even claiming for), as well as completely twisting my medical history during the time I was paying premiums as a reason to not pay for a genuine debilitating condition, one that was diagnosed 3 years(!) after taking out the policy. When asked for evidence in their terms and conditions to clarify their decision around the undiagnosed/unrelated condition, they were unable to provide it and refused to answer the question. I've never had the displeasure of dealing with such an unethical company.

As a retired IFA - I used to find that Holloway were highly rated within the industry for the three usual assessment factors - A) admin B) financial strength c) claims paying history. I put a number of clients with them and all did well even tho’ they never claimed because the Classic Plus plan provided a bonus payment that pretty much matched the total cost of the premiums over the years.
I had one client that developed a back problem (he was a Farrier) and I was delighted at Holloway’s help with the claim. Of course they checked out the claim and once total honesty by my client had been established the claim was paid in full to our total satisfaction.
It is a sad reflection on some in society that they think that THIER dishonesty is somehow the fault of those they try to dupe.
My son is still with Holloway for his income protection plan and I have no hesitation in recommending he stays with them - because I KNOW he was honest with his answers when applying.

This company is a tragedy. I have been waiting for money for 5 months. Nobody cares. People be careful and do not choose this company. Never! I do not recommend.

be very careful if you choose this company they take your money and then if you need to claim they go digging into your past and go through your medical history as far back as they can they find all ways not to settle a claim you need to disclose everything basically from the day you were born. they google you so if you've been in trouble with the police they'll use it against you and your claim if I could give a 0 star I would

All fine when taking your premiums but when you want to claim problems. You then put in a complaint promised to be dealt with quickly but still waiting 6 weeks later .
