Asking a general question

Having asked a general question to the support team, I was answered and reassured soon after sent the email. I’m new to Hike Summit and this is a really good start👍

Customer service was good

Customer service was so good. Because the one I ordered was hiking kit and it too small for me. The offered to change it to my size and didn’t ask to return the one i recieved

Good communication

We received the correct size but it was very small so we requested an exchange and the Hike Summit team were very helpful and resolved our issue efficiently and quickly.

Chinese rip off merchants

I made 2 orders from this company, to get some hiking boots and waterproofs for my wife and myself. These were supposed to be here in time for our holiday, 8 weeks later.
There are no warnings that they are coming, (literally) on the slow boat from China! Here we are 6 weeks after purchase and payment, to find out that the second order hasn't even been fulfilled yet!
They are refusing to issue a refund until we receive the goods and send them back at our expense. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Stick to verified UK stockists. NEVER AGAIN!!

Be aware!!!

I took down the first review as was threatened with legal action.
Received half an order (usb thermals) and when I wanted to return it was offered xyz to keep it. They were fit for the bin so that’s where it went!

I opened a dispute with my bank, Revolut which was successful within 12 hours. I blocked and further payments from CRM holdings which is ‘hike summit’ amongst other things.

Today money had been attempted to be removed from my account, unsuccessfully as it’s blocked. Just be VERY careful with this company.

When you place an order you are AUTOMATICALLY signed up for ‘VIP membership🫣) £24.99 per month!
I wonder how many ppl actually know this. ….

I’ve emailed them asking why they have attempted to take funds from my account and expect the ‘ please remove your review or legal action’.
This I welcome!

Bought 3 premium pricy sleeping bags on…

Bought 3 premium pricy sleeping bags on the website and receive 3 bad quality ones, cheap, bad chemical smell, from China, a month later, very different from my order. Other design, very thin (actually deadly- they promote that it is for -15C and I may even not use in during summer in the Uk !). They refuse to pay back, they refuse to pay the return fee regardless of what they claim on their website. Instead proposed to pay back only 30% to make me « save the return fee ».A fraudulent system as many in China. Run away !

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. They sign you up for a VIP club subscription at checkout without you knowing. Only found out a month later when a payment went out of my account. They then refuse to refund the money despite me not signing up to any subscription. The company is a scam and I will not be using them again.
