Offering free promo items that don’t arrive

While ordering a promotion came up saying I was eligible for a free backpack, it was in the basket with my two other items when I completed payment!
When the order arrived no backpack, according to customer care it was a technical error.
In my opinion it was a ploy (SCAM)
I highly recommend not to order from this site

I wouldn't recommend buying from Hike Summit.

About a month after placing my order, I noticed a £24.99 charge on my bank account for a VIP membership that I don't remember signing up for. There was nothing during checkout that made it clear I was agreeing to a recurring subscription, so the charge came as a complete surprise.

I've disputed the payment with my bank and cancelled the membership. After reading other recent reviews, it seems I'm not the only person this has happened to. Make sure you check your bank statements after ordering from this company.

All the reviews are fake me and my…

All the reviews are fake me and my brother ordered from them was told 5-14 days delivery came 25 days later they promoted with free bag they didn't send me or my brother with the free bag and they gave a child size and now they won't respond to emails. (It is a chinese scam company BE VERY CAREFUL)

One of the worst experience i have ever…

One of the worst experience i have ever had with a company, said 2 days delivery when i ordered, this showed up 4 weeks after ordering. To make matters worse they have delivered the wrong sleeping bag which if i search online is £9.90!!!!! When i paid £90 for it!! it is not the one i ordered, different brand etc. Trying to speak to customer service is like robots, no personal touch at all. They expected me before it was delivered to pay to deliver it back!! OH and supposedly a free backpack coming with. Nope. i believe this company is a scam, nothing but issues from start to finish.

…Faulty Backpack

I bought a backpack from this company recently costing over £50. I used it twice and then the zipper burst. I contacted the company to ask for a refund or replacement. They asked me to send a photograph of the broken zipper which I did. Their reply was that they wanted me to return the bag to them to Hong Kong, at my own expense. I replied to say that I was not willing to do this as the bag was obviously faulty and was surely their responsibility to either reimburse me or send a replacement. They were not willing to do this. Needless to say, I will not be buying anything again from this company!

Hiking clothing

I just wanted to say your customer service was second to none – every single email was answered swiftly, which made all the difference when my delivery was taking a little longer than normal. I’m also really impressed with the clothing itself: the quality has far exceeded my expectations, and it looks absolutely great on.

I feel I need to re post this, also the response from Hike Summit (which appears to be the same response as all the negative reviews) Also my response to their response I posted on their website as requested (and I've had bo response)

Original review: Worst customer service I've ever dealt with! Back tracked on a free backpack which was added to my order and available at the time, then after only receiving my paid order they tell me the backpack isnt always available on every order..... yeh ok! Its just a way of luring customers then let them down! False advertising at its best. Also when I opened the bag containing my binoculars I discovered the box damaged, I checked inside and fortunately the binoculars were ok, except they were the wrong specification to what was advertised and I ordered. I contacted customer service, not by telephone because that was constantly a message saying we're very busy. I emailed my issues, along with photos, but not a mention about the damaged box or the wrong binoculars! Several emails sent and received, still no mention, only regarding the free backpack! I then receive an email offering me 10% off next purchase, no mention of the wrong binoculars sent, or damaged box. I replied in a 'to the point' message. I then receive another email offering me another discount, are this company not listening? I just want honesty and integrity is that too much to ask? I would avoid!

In response to your reply to my review on trust pilot I want to express that I am most definitely not happy with the lack of professionalism missing from my complaints sent to hike Summit on 3rd July after I had received a damaged box, and the wrong specification binoculars. Also, I complained I never received my free backpack which, in fact was added to my order, and then I see you are still offering the free rucksack with orders! You told me not every order receives the free promotion, to which I replied why have you still got the rucksack available on your website! I wrote the review on trust pilot because I felt I have been conned. I purchased a product from your website, and actually expected for hike summit to honour the promotion offered to me upon my purchase of binoculars, and to send the free rucksack, but you as a company didn't even reply when I pointed out that the promotion on your website did not read that not all orders receive the promotional free rucksack! I am very disappointed and annoyed!
