Don't. I ordered from what I thought was a UK website. My order was being 'shipped' from the US. It never arrived, email was blocked. Tried contacting through website, no reply.

I paid for a pinky and the brain couples costume, which were already very overpriced at £40 and £50. I paid for fast delivery, making the total £80. The Brain costume arrived with the tail ripped off and a hole in the back. Both costumes are very cheap looking. And now since reading the reviews, I won't even bother with attempting to return the costumes all the way to the US (marketed as a UK company), pay for that myself, plus the 18% restocking fee...just so they can continue to sell a tail-less costume to some other unsuspecting person. I'll swallow the 80 and be done with them. They also don't reply to emails. AVOID!

you need to be aware before you order from this company that you will not be given a full refund if you return anything. They do not refund shipping and charge a 18% restocking charge. I made an expensive mistake in ordering from them and I would ask Halloween costumes to rethink their outdated policy

I had no idea this company was based in USA, very misleading when it’s co.uk. I bought 2 pairs of boots and a batgirl costume. Boots were so small, I ordered a 6 but because they are based it the states, a size 6 is a 4!! the costume was cheap and nasty and too big. I tried to take the items back and one pair of boots that apparently has been discontinued (which I had no idea), I can’t even exchange or get a refund! So I am stuck with a pair of £75 boots that are no good to me or anyone! The other items I am sending back they take 18% money off the items you paid for. Wish I had read the reviews. I complained and they don’t give a crap about your situation. How anyone can work for a scamming company and how can a company rinse peoples money and get away with it!!! Avoid avoid avoid! Unless you want to give your money away!!!!!!!

Halloweencostumes.co.uk should not be allowed to have a UK website address. All shipping is from the states. My order was over 3 weeks ago, it's now over a week past the estimated delivery date and my costume is still not here, doesn't even look like it's left the US based on their tracking. Absolutely useless.

I'm always weary of ordering costumes online, but I took a risk and it paid off. The costume arrived earlier than the delivery date and was surprisingly good quality. A little thinner than a usual jacket and trousers, but better than expected. Sizing was a bit tricky to figure out and I'll need to alter the trousers a little, but otherwise very happy. Came with a nice suit bag too. Will definitely try again if I need another costume.

Do NOT buy from this company. The costumes do not match the description and are of very poor quality. When arranging to return the item, you are told you must pay costs. This is wrong because it is a distance contract and you have 14 days to return items that cost over £42 FREE OF CHARGE. They then tell you it will take 2 - 4 weeks to refund you because their elves are slow - it's a joke to them!!! Please do not buy from this company. You will regret it!

I ordered an item a month ago and it still hasn't arrived. Customer services aren't in the slightest bit interested and are incredibly unhelpful. Avoid this company!

Hides fact that it’s a USA company! Didn’t show delivery fees until after paid when using Apple Pay. Won’t Deliver Halloween Products until a week after Halloween (ordered 2weeks before- thought it was a uk company due to web address), even though they haven’t shipped yet they won’t cancel order or issue refund until it arrives then will charge me for having to restock the items. Customer service is AWFUL!!! Completely unacceptable!!!

Trying to get my money back.

First, they are not based in the UK! They provide a UK address based in Manchester and even a co. UK website address to fool you - I ordered £300 of items only part arrived - that’s when I realised they are not uk based all coming from the US ! They even say things like “made by us “ making you think they are uk based, under the Manchester page! They cannot provided me any details on where my order is !? Because I did not pay even more money for enhanced deliver ?! Why would I then I thought they were uk based ! - no empathy or support at all from customer service agent looking at the reviews they are fully aware .. I hope this is not a scam ! Will contact my credit card company in the morning to discuss - the worst thing is the disappointed kids ?! Ordered 30 sept ! Shocking please avoid

I made my purchase on the 12th October and it was despatched the same day. I paid extra for guaranteed delivery by the 18th. I am in the UK and I was really panicking about my item not arriving on time coming from the US. How wrong was I. I was able to track my parcel with FedEx and it arrived today, 2 days early!! Amazing!!
I am really happy with my costume too! lovely quality and it fits perfect!! Can't wait to wear it for an Octoberfest party this coming weekend. Customer service was excellent when I needed to ask a few questions, they were answered straight away on live chat! A BIG Thank you to Halloween Costumes. I would definitely purchase from you guys again X

So expensive and such poor quality. I figured that I would treat myself this year to a special costume so spent a lot. When it arrived I was shocked with the poor quality. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!!! I also contacted them but heard nothing back.

Worst company ever! I ordered a costume it came and it was so oddly sized I had to return it. Number one they make you pay to for shipping which was fine. I guess a little silly but I did it anyways , then I get a partial refund, because they charge a restocking fee! avoid this place I bet you they’re making tons of money on the restocking fees because their costumes are so poor, I’m sure everyone returns them . Avoid this place like the plague!

Was provided with 10% discount for first order followed the instruction via the email sent and noticed when using the 10% discount via the link they increase the delivery charge by £2.00 but if you order without going through the 10% discount normal delivery charge. Placed the order and spoke to live chat to be basically told nothing can do and they don't know why it is doing it provided screenshots still couldn't answer why. False advertising and scamming by charging extra delivery. Really not happy with my experience and would never use this site again.

Ordered an ant mask. Very happy with it. Took a while to arrive but great item.

A poor quality, badly-stitched and ill-fitting costume, for which I was charged £8.99 delivery. Not surprising that I had to return the item, which cost me a further £6.25 in postage, as well as a spurious 18% so-called restocking fee. In total, ordering a costume from this company has cost me in excess of £23 for the privilege of NOT having a costume - a complete insult to customer service.

Paid for express delivery which I didn’t get, items not packaged just shoved in cardboard boxes that were too small for the items. no instructions
Really disappointed.

Boots I couldn’t actually get my foot into, even despite sizing up. Dress that didn’t cover my knickers again despite sizing up, what a bargain fir £75! Website doesn’t show my order, but have an email from them. Isn’t this covered by Distance Selling regulations? Restocking fees are also illegal in UK? What a huge hassle!
