Ordered on 02/11/25 and still didn;t receive the item. Tracking number saying that is in Indianopolis USA. I am living in UK and I paid extra for the delivery to arrive with priority. On the website is not saying that is from USA as the website is .co.uk. A big scam. Cannot contact them and I made a dispute with my bank- I hope that I will receive my £40 back.

Paid a fortune for a costume to arrive before Halloween. It arrived in first week of November. Unable to contact the company. No reply via email. Number doesn’t work. Recieved an email weeks later saying they can’t basically email as they are too busy. Stole my money basically. Do not order from this company.

I ordered 2 costumes for a party, but it was cancelled, so I tried to return them. No chance! Their self-service returns option on their website was unavailable! When I contacted customer services, they stated there was a blackout period on returns and I wouldn’t be able to return them in time. They even suggested I tried to sell them myself instead. The costumes are great, but the service was diabolical, literally a scam from the start, avoid all costs. Based in USA pretending to be in the UK.

Placed an order on 20th Oct, still not received it, contacted them via their website form and got zero response

ABSOLUTE SCAM OF A COMPANY! I firstly they advertise as HalloweenCostume.co.uk yet they are not a uk company! I purchased a costume on the 26th, paid extra for priority shipping 1-3 working days, which said 29th of Oct at the latest, it has now been delivered on the 3rd November, my only issue is now finding a Halloween party tonight! 4 days late! Annoyingly it was in Exeter for 2 days and I could have collected it, but no, automated lines and no chance of speaking to an actual human, lesson learnt.

is a scam company that purposely take months for your package too arrive so you get fed up and try to cancel, they don’t get back too you and expect you too cover the cost of a item that you don’t even want anymore, they’re got a scheme going where the customer gets nothing whilst they get money for no costume

Definitely do not use this Company, they don't offer refunds. Try and say well you can send it back but we are going to charge you a re-stocking fee. Then the customer service people are not very helpful and so rude I will not use this company again.

How bad could they be really? I thought to myself, I need a costume for Halloween, order took ages to arrive despite crazy postage price, and is rubbish, trying to organise a return but won’t hold my breath.

I like you was trying to decide whether to risk it, I know you want to just find something for your Halloween party but it’s not these guys, all the reviews here have no reason to lie to you

The try to apply an illegal 18% restocking fee which, to the best of my knowledge is likely illegal under UK consumer law. The law prohibits businesses from charging consumers restocking fees for standard returns. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 gives the right to a full refund for items you cancel within 14 days, without any penalty fees.

2nd time I've used this company and another great product delivered. Bought the 3ft boy and girl animated see-saw this time. After some simple research I found it was getting delivered to Scotland from their depot in the USA. I was happy with this and understood the cost of delivery. It arrived early, and was easy to set up. Nice piece and works great. Very eerie and the music helps.
I was kept in the loop about delivery at all times.
I would use this company again as this was another pleasant transaction.

Received order today and I wasn't totally satisfied with what I got . It looked as though part of the material was missing and therefore not what I had ordered . Got in contact via live chat and spoke to Nicki M who was lovely and helpful. Nicki made me realise it was my mistake and the item was in fact as I had ordered . Silly me lol . Just wanted to say great customer service from Nicki M ..thank you

Got the new proton pack (Ghostbusters) shipped to U.K. was super happy with the service

This company have charged me £347.50 EXTRA for delivery that was not advertised at checkout (placed my order on the UK website and shipping was supposed to be £11.99!) So a £74.98 order had become £422.48 without my knowledge until I checked my bank statement today! Dispute raised with the bank as this is illegal and robbery, pure & simple. Unable to contact them through any method (phone number is unreachable & contact form says e-mail is invalid so cannot be submitted)

Got a costume which was very cheap and badly made for the price of around £40. These things happen so I returned the items within a few days around October. I did not get any contact from the company at all regarding my refund and I received no response when i tried to get in touch so I reported it to my bank. The company then finally got in touch the following February saying theh received my item and they would like to issue a refund but only if I remove my report. As they had got back in touch to resolve it I removed my report and asked for the refund. They then have said it has been too long since the purchase date and they wont refund me, they have acknowledged that they have stolen from me in an email and also said that they are unwilling to do anything about it and if I deem necessary to report it to the necessary authorities.

If I were you just stay away, go to a local company or store where its all done in person, this place is an absolute nightmare and quite literally admitted to theft in the emails to me. Don't let you money get stolen too.

Please see below my experience with this company.

1. Misdescribed Product

I ordered a “Hulk Hogan Wig” based on the product title and image displayed on your website, which clearly depicted Hulk Hogan’s characteristic bald top, covered with a red bandana, long blonde sides. What I received was entirely different — a full blonde bob-style wig and a red piece of cloth fabric, bearing no resemblance to either the image or description provided.

Under the EU Sale of Goods Directive (2019/771/EU) and the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), goods must match their description and images provided at the time of sale. This product did not.

2. Refund of Delivery Costs

They have stated that I am not entitled to a refund of the outbound delivery charge as “the service was provided.” This is incorrect in law. Where goods are misdescribed or not as advertised, consumers are entitled to a full refund including the original delivery costs.

3. Return Shipping Costs

They have also insisted that I cover the cost of return shipping. Again, this contradicts EU law. Where goods are faulty or misdescribed, the seller must bear the cost of return. Forcing the customer to pay return postage for a misdescribed item is unlawful.

4. Withholding of My Review

I submitted a review of this product through their website over six weeks ago. Instead of publishing it, you placed it “under moderation” indefinitely and ignored my direct question asking how many reviews you currently have in moderation. Suppressing genuine consumer feedback in this way is highly concerning and creates the impression of intentionally blocking negative reviews, which is misleading to future customers.

5. Lack of Response

I have been contacting them consistently since 13 August 2025 with no meaningful resolution. Failure to respond to legitimate consumer complaints breaches good faith obligations under EU consumer protection law.

Used them a few times brilliant experience such good quality and fast shipping. Received my order within 3 days from usa to the UK can't argue with that.

I ordered a costume from this website assuming (wrongly) that it was a UK based firm, but this is a misleading lie, the main website and business is actually the American one.

The costume I ordered was needed just under 2 weeks from the date of order so I opted for the 5-7 days delivery time thinking nothing of it.

My order was shipped from the USA, it spent the first 7 days travelling across the US, I can only assume by donkey because for 4 of those days it was untraceable in a void between FEDEX depots. It then eventually flew to the UK where it spent another 3 days sat in a FEDEX Depot in London before finally arriving in Leeds at 8pm. This is 2 hours before the revised delivery time of that day before 10pm. Its now 10:13pm and it still says it will be delivered today by end of day, yet the tracking says still in Leeds.

Useless company I will not be using again. If I had known it would ship from the US I wouldnt have bothered, but now it wont arrive in time for the party I need it for, I am without a costume and have no way of getting a replacement in time.#

Avoid at all costs

I purchased an outdoor mobile Halloween decoration that stopped working the day before Halloween. I reached out to the company immediately and never received any response. No customer support, no acknowledgment — nothing. It completely ruined our display, and their lack of service made it even worse. I would never buy from this company again and recommend others avoid them as well.

Terrible customer service, the items come up really big (I ended up in a small rather than my usual large) but when you try to return your item get stung with an 18% restocking fee and pay for the postage. When I asked nicely to explain I got fobbed off with corporate jargon. Won't use again, please be careful with your sizes or they will get you too.
