What a terrible service
What a terrible service. Please do not use this service - it's a complete rip off. I paid £149 for a call out for my dishwasher, then paid for parts. The second visit was by an engineer who didn't fit the parts, stayed 10 minutes and kept referring the the machine as 'she'.
No refund for the call out and my dishwasher is still broken two months later. Please avoid go Assist!

We take concerns regarding incomplete repairs, engineer conduct on-site, parts installation failures, and call-out fees very seriously. We completely understand your frustration and anger at paying £149 for an initial call-out plus additional costs for replacement parts, only for the follow-up engineer to stay roughly 10 minutes without fitting the parts and leave your dishwasher unrepaired two months later with no refund provided.
We agree that follow-up visits booked specifically for parts fitting must be carried out thoroughly and professionally to resolve the appliance issue.
Unfortunately, we are unable to identify your booking or find your account from the details on your profile. We would really like the opportunity to look into this for you and help resolve the situation—please contact our team directly at customer feedback team with your booking reference, postcode, or telephone number so we can locate your record and assist.

What an absolute scam!!
Called for an urgent repair and was given a next day appointment. I provided them with the part required AND the part number so that it could be fitted with no delay. When the engineer came out, he hadn't been given any of the information and came to make a diagnosis!! This meant it was another 3 days before the repair was completed.
The fee charged by Go Assist is only brokerage and you are charged separately by the company making the repairs.

We take concerns regarding upfront booking expectations, diagnostic procedures, parts ordering turnaround times, and fee transparency very seriously. We understand your frustration at supplying the specific part requirement during your initial booking in hopes of an immediate fix, only for the attending engineer to perform a physical diagnosis first, resulting in a three-day wait before the repair could be finished.
We acknowledge that there was a difference in expectations regarding how our diagnostic call-out and parts fulfilment operate; our process requires an attending engineer to physically inspect and verify the fault on-site before parts can be authorised and ordered to ensure the correct repair is carried out.
Your feedback regarding pre-visit part logging, communication of our repair process, and third-party fee clarity has been formally logged for internal review to improve the clarity of our booking journey.
