i had a engineer come out because 2 days previous my electric had tripped and my fridge freezer stopped working the engineer said it was,nt fixable needed regasing .I unplugged the fridge for few hours and when plugged in started working so dodnt need regasing it was caused by a thermal lockout because my electric had tripped so the diagnosis by engineer was inaccurate and failed to meet standard required by rights act of 2015 and they have refuse refund of £159 i did not recieve service i paid for and will be taking action to get refund

Organised fixing problem and easily booked in

Absolutely waste of money and time, £160 call out charge, took 3 days to come, when he came he stayed 2 minutes and then left, done Absolutely nothing, I got an email later saying sorry we couldn't fix it, save your money and do not use these scammers!!!!

Chris was so helpful. He explained everything really clearly. My phone kept cutting off and each time he phoned me back so I could make my booking. Chris was so polite and a pleasure to speak too.

Do not use this company, they are Charleston’s paid over £100.00 man came out looked at the extractor fan, asked me to send him a video of the issue I did and then NOTHING: cancel the direct debit emailed the cancellation and then get a call to say I need to pay another £50.00 to cancel and I advised them I canceled within 30day and to take me to court.

Really easy to book. Max explained everything clearly such as how to track my booking and when I should be updated on the progress of my booking.

Ken the engineer was great. Even gave me cleaning advice! But too much marketing from Go Assist and didn’t like them effectively trying to sell insurance when just wanted repair Also v expensive, mark up on parts. But efficient and speedy response.

BEWARE! Very pleasant and helpful guys on the phone BUT…
Provided oven part number and likely fault (thermostat) and that wife had a cake to bake! Notified an engineer would attend the following day to which we replied great - cake bake the following day!
Next day engineer turned up with no tools, twiddled the oven knob declared that appeared to be the problem and left! Advising we’d be notified when parts sourced. He was there less than 10 mins.
Paid for an oven repair but appear to have got an open ended and ongoing ‘quote’ Great if the ‘engineer’s’ guess was correct but
if not where does this end?
Not what was agreed for our £159 and ‘Go Assist’ refusing refund as engineer has now visited.
Have advised them to check recording (they claim to record all calls) and referred to credit card company.

Terrible company. Charge a fortune and try to sneakily lead you into a monthly direct debit which is difficult to cancel. Paid around 130 for someone to come and tell me washing machine isnt fixable... no offer of any money back or anything.

1st £159 for engineer to come out on the 15/10/26 explained I needed new door. I agreed. Engineer explained could take up to seven days.
2nd received an email with quote payed.
3rd received another email to confirm that engineer booked for 27/10/26 never saw one. Having lost days work.
4th iPhoned Assist on the 28/10/26 was told engineer would call between 11 am and 2pm. No one came. Phoned again put through to customer service were I was told that engineer did call on Tuesday and had no empathy that I had now lost two days of work. Now I still have to wait till Friday which I was told that I will be engineers first call. Please 🙏for me.
This is from a company that advertises quick call out and quick fix. I could have got the part from zanussi next day delivery. This is suppose to be a wide country company JOKE.

A great experience. Martin was friendly, helpful and informative and discussed in detail our options including their monthly membership which offered real savings on servicing all of our appliances. I never felt pressurised and Martin made every effort to book an appointment to service our washing machine as soon as possible.
