Nice place to park
The ease of parking was good and we did not have to wait for a bus to take us to the terminal. The only thing I would say is that the sign to enter the car park is a tad small so could be larger as it could be easily missed. Good service overall though

A large car park close to the airport…
A large car park close to the airport with a good regular bus service for the short journey to the airport.
The return journey worked just as easily with the bus stop located just outside the main airport building and the drop off point close to where we left our car.

I booked the mid stay parking
I booked the mid stay parking - received confirmation with directions and a pin to follow. This led to the drop off area that cost me £10 just to drive through without stopping and then follow the signs to mid stay - This was very annoying and an expensive 30 seconds not to mention having to go into the rubbish app to pay.

Short term parking at Gatwick - Excellent

Overall good experience
Overall good experience. However, signage really needs to improve as getting confused with what is staff car parking. We parked up, went to a bus stop , then only realised when at bus stop that the section was reserved for staff only and we were not the only passengers in the same position. We had to go back to car with 2 large cases and find alternative parking which was some distance away. Please improve signage and make it more clear where we can and cannot park . Thank you

6 minute walk - dreadful
This mid stay South car park is not as implied. The walk to terminal is only partially undercover and walkway too narrow for trolley and pedestrians to pass. Frankly it was totally unsuitable. On return we used the bus to the Long Stay car park which was easier and drier!!!

Excellent Service
Dropped car off at designated time and met by representative. Keys exchanged and on our way in 5 mins.

had to run around looking for a working intercom as all were broken
I pressed the intercom at the barrier to let me in as my booking didnt automatically open the gate, they told me to take a ticket "and call back to link it to your booking", so spent the next 15mins looking for a working intercom as all were broken- had to walk back to the entrance barrier to speak to them. The intercom operator said he meant link the ticket when exiting the car park with the car, when finished with the parking after flying back (not when exiting that day on foot), so why not clarify that before? He said his explanation was fine and all is being recorded, A simple apology for my inconvenience with the broken intercoms would have been bare minimum even if you don't want to admit your mistake
PS their own website directions are wrong on how to get to mid-stay parking, and the sign I saw on the ground doesnt have directional arrows on it. this also caused unnecessary confusion
