Straight forward dialling system to get the right person. The advisor who took my call, made me feelat ease and sorted out my Registration transfer to my service plan. The whole process took less than 3 1/2 minutes.Great customer service, A whole lot quicker than the car dealership. Many thanks John

Eventually got past the automated entry system and spoke to a very helpful human being. I think he was real not AI, but you never know. Anyway I'm sorted.

I tried to book a service for my Hyundai Tucson online. There was very little options for mechanics as I would have liked to obtain a courtesy car while my car is being serviced. All went fine and it through good. Had an email back from emac to offer an alternative date for the service. I rebooked, but I got a "the link has expired" message. I tried calling EMAC after being in a queue but the person on the phone was very rude and abrupt telling me to just call Kwik fit themselves and not themselves, even though my policy is with EMAC and should be more helpful. Do not use EMAC as a service and repair warranty provider as their policies do not cover most repairs. Avoid at all costs.

Luckily Kwik Fit were very helpful and booked me there and then.

I am suprised that this company has so many positive reviews. I have been trying to speak to them re an existing policy for around a month.

Unable to get through on the phone, when I follow the relevant options it just rings out, emailing the address per the auto voicemail on some options bounces back as undelivered. If you fill in their online form you dont hear anything either.

Not a positive experience at all.

I finally got a response from EMac as a result of this review...no surprise there and to be fair the people I have spoken to actually action anything.

I was assured that the plan had been cancelled and I should receive confirmation via email. Despite numerous chases via phone and email this has not occured, money continues to be taken. If this wasn't bad enough, how about having the Dealership chasing me for payment as they have been told the plan has been cancelled...so now I am meant to pay two people?!

How hard can this actually be to resolve? I wonder how quickly they would act if i just cancelled my direct debit...

Real people answer the phone. Top person, knew exactly what to do, rectified situation. Able to start policy strait away. Bypassed Ai updates from other companies. My contact was just first class. Nice to do a positive review, thankyou.

The person i spoke to was knowledgeable and very helpful.

It seems EMaC does not have a tracking system to monitor when issues raised (photos uploaded for maintenance and repair), what actions are taken, when its staffs or agents/subcontractors follow up, how and when this is settled. Concern raised here 2-week earlier and James of EMaC replied but no actions taken further. This is something very disappointing!

Contacted EMac with a problem; the operative was friendly and very cooperative. He explained how my problem would be dealt with and the general time frame for EMac to take action. The money owed to me was put into my account within a few days. I regret not remembering the operative's name. His help and explanations were spot on and very much appreciated.

The lady I spoke with was very helpful&polite explaining the reason for the recent email &that I was due a credit due to overpayment on a previous service contract, great news

An Emac account was set up for me some time ago and has been used for a while, I have now decided to purchase another Car and I have had to cancel my account. The cancellation was easy, one phone call to their 0330 number, spoke to Georgina and several minutes later it was all done and dusted. Job done.
After I get my other car I am definitely getting another Emac account.

My experience with EMaC has been extremely disappointing.

I submitted a request to cancel my service plan on 7 August 2026 after discovering that the plan could only be used within the Evans Halshaw dealership network. This significant restriction was not made clear to me before I purchased the plan. Had I been aware of this limitation, I would never have taken out the agreement.

Since submitting my cancellation request, I have sent multiple follow-up emails and a formal complaint. Despite this, more than a month has passed without any meaningful confirmation that my cancellation has been processed or that my refund is being dealt with.

I was later informed that cancellation requests had to be sent to a separate email address. However, this requirement was not clearly communicated in the documentation provided to me and was not brought to my attention when I first requested cancellation. As a result, what should have been a straightforward process became unnecessarily prolonged and frustrating.

To make matters worse, I no longer own the vehicle associated with the service plan, meaning the plan provides no benefit or value to me. Despite explaining this repeatedly, I was left chasing for updates and answers with little progress.

Customers should expect clear information before purchase, transparent cancellation procedures and timely responses when raising concerns. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

After numerous emails, follow-ups and a formal complaint, I am still waiting for a satisfactory resolution. Based on my experience, EMaC's customer service, communication and complaint handling have fallen well below the standard I would expect from a company managing customer service plans.

I hope EMaC will finally resolve this matter and take steps to ensure that other customers are not placed in the same position.

Overall, this has been a frustrating and wholly unsatisfactory experience, and I cannot recommend EMaC based on the service I have received.

Have had a service plan on my different cars for many years. Always first class service from Emac. Changes to the plan are straight forward but do take note of any cancellation charges.
