Ordered a custom sofa with chaise and ottoman, everything is super high quality and looks and feels amazing. When there was an issue with the ottoman during transit, Clyde from Dreamsofa helped get things corrected. And the furniture repair man they used to come fix the issue was above and beyond professional. Highly recommend this company for their great customer service alone, which is unfortunately something that's going extinct nowadays. But this couch is literally a dream sofa customized to perfection. Highly recommend!

I had an issue with the legs (which I believe were put on incorrectly by the white glove delivery people). I contacted DreamSofa and Clyde was most helpful in explaining how to correct the situation. Clyde was timely and professional. Thank you!

For the price, this couch is 10 stars. When you pull the price factor out I'll ding it 1/2 a star for fabric and stitching (more below).
Design Process: 10/10. I worked with Marissa B who helped me design every aspect of my couch. I took a couch that didn't come in a U-Shape sectional and made it into a U-shape. I had a custom length and custom seating depth for the couch. I also received a ton of fabric samples to choose from and she was very helpful in narrowing down the samples.
Timeline 10/10: They delivered in the timeline they promised (8-10 weeks) with no issues for delivery.
Frame Construction 10/10: This couch is solid!
Comfort 10/10: We chose the "plush" cushion and they are exceptionally comfortable. The right amount of support and comfort.
Customer Service 10/10: The finishing nail heads on the couch I received did not resemble the pictures I had been sent. They didn't look bad, they just weren't what I was hoping for. I reached out to CS and they reassured me that they did you the right nailheads but also gave me a credit.
Fabric: 5/10. This is the one area where I've had a lot of issues with the couch. I chose the R-Prize in Cream. The color is gorgeous, it washes out red wine stains easily and is generally easy to clean. However, I have two issues with the fabric 1. The piling. I'm taking a sweater shaver to the couch once a week to shave off all the piles. 2. The covers didn't have any sort of fray mitigation on the edges of the fabric on the inside (no running stitch, no glue/melting, etc). For the price I could over look this but I did have to pull out the sewing machines after it became apparent that after a few washings the fraying would hit the seam line.

We purchased a couch with a fabric that was out of stock. Their team worked quickly to find us a new fabric and deliver our couch on time.

Our custom sectional with chaise lounge from DreamSofa met all of our expectations. It was easy to choose our exact dimensions, fabric, and details. It looks great and the quality is very high — we sprang for the highest quality cushions and they feel like they're going to last a long time without getting smushy. The only downside is how long the process took (longer than the timeline we were given), but we don't mind in the long run since we got such a custom, quality product. We had one issue upon delivery and Clyde from their customer service took very good care to resolve the problem. Highly recommend!

Quick to accept our order, but utter lack of communication

Initially submitted our order on March 11th with the expectation of delivery in 8 weeks. The only follow up communication has been after we have reached out via email requesting an update. As of May 9th, the order still shows as "processing" despite being told 3 weeks ago our sofa had already been shipped. Called their phone number numerous times during normal business hours, and have never been to get someone on phone, or return our call despite leaving a message. This has turned out into a highly frustrating, poor customer experience.

Cannot speak to the quality of their products,

Customer service was excellent.
Received a 3% discount in the form of a refund (code from Insider's Guide to Furniture).
I have my Antalya sofa for about 2 months now, Plush cushioning, and it is firm yet bouncy. Will hope to see this condition lasting!
One note, the backrest pillows tend to droop and move around easily, so it loses its shape very quickly. Wish there was velcro or something to help the cushions stay in place.

After a year's search I chose Dream Sofa because of the numerous designs and the custom offerings. Everything was spot on from the initial correspondence, the detailed updates and to the delivery. Marissa was very patient and worked with me thru the entire process.

I chose a luxury fabric and the quality and feel is absolutely superb! The luxurious feel of the fabric and the bold yet subtlety of the black color worked perfect with my living room decor. The "wave" comfort level of the sofa is perfect as well. Provides strong support when sitting and lying down I fell asleep immediately. Which was not my intentions!

I didn't think companies of this caliber existed any longer. My best regards to the Dream Sofa team for making this happen and a job more than well done.

Amazing couch, so happy to have found a piece of quality, buy it for life furniture that can fit in my unique space. I ended up misunderstanding something about the dimensions and they were so wonderful working with me to find a solution. they ended up sending me replacement seat cushions to get the look i wanted. Thank you so so much to Clyde for helping me navigate the issue and get them manufactured and delivered.

Customer service is one of the best that I have ever encountered. I have to say the whole team was wonderful through the entire process.

We are very happy with the sleeper sofa we ordered! I appreciated the fabric samples, and the help when I called a few times before I ordered.
One of the legs was chipped by the installers and Clyde helped to make sure a replacement was sent and that it was to our satisfaction. I would definitely looked to Dream sofa should we need another piece of furniture.

Clyde with DreamSofa was extremely helpful while taking care of a warranty repair with our ottoman. He coordinated all the details with setting up the repair in a kind and timely manner, along with excellent communication. We are back to enjoying all that our DreamSofa has to offer!

We triple checked measurements and softness of our sectional. It is extremely hard and very small. The only thing we like about it is the color. Pics and real life are very different. If you are over 5’6 order the biggest they have! We ordered a size down and my feet are almost hanging over the lounger part of sectionals. I’m 5ft and my husband is 6’3. It’s barbie/kid size for sure. All our tall friends make fun of it! Online is NOT the way to go. And so expensive…Eeks.

Karla was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process and helping out when any issues arose.

Pros: The couch is very nice. We were warned from other reviews to expect it to start a little firm and need some breaking in, but we found it comfortable from the start. We haven't had it long enough to know how well it will last, but it has held up well to minor abuse from our cat. It feels heavy and well-made, and there's no obvious issues with the frame or upholstery. Everyone I spoke to on the phone, from the designer to customer service was very nice and helpful (specifically when on the phone, I'll get to that). Shout out to Karla for advocating for us to those with refund-giving authority.

Cons: While I like the couch, I unfortunately cannot recommend buying anything from DreamSofa, the company.
We placed an order in mid September and were told, both on the phone and by the website, to expect shipping in 4-6 weeks, maybe 8 weeks if something truly unexpected came up, plus 2 weeks for packaging and shipping. At most, a 10 week wait. By the second week in November (right at the 8 week mark), we got confirmation that our order had moved to inspection, so likely to need another week and we could have it in hand by week 11. Disappointing to be behind the "worst case" schedule, but not a crazy thing to have happen. We didn't hear anything at all for another 2 weeks.

Then, an email informing us our couch had failed inspection and the fabric we wanted wasn't up to standard and couldn't be restocked. They said they'd send us a new set of fabric swatches immediately and prioritize our order so that, after we picked a fabric, it would only take a few more weeks to build and re-inspect. We were additionally offered a modest refund in the form of upgrading our shipping for free. AGAIN, we heard nothing for two weeks. I found it strange that they hadn't rush shipped our swatches given how far behind schedule things were, so I called customer service (multiple times and eventually got through). I was assured that my swatches would actually be arriving in the next three days and everything was okay. When the swatches arrived, the package was postmarked the day after I had called. They simply had never sent the first pack of swatches when they promised. We selected a fabric and waited. This was over the holidays, so some slowdown was reasonable. It took an additional 5 weeks to get it finished, and by the time we received it, it had been exactly 21 weeks since we placed the order.

During the wait, I called customer service to complain about the swatch issue and ask for a larger refund, and was offered slightly less than 10%. More specifically, I called many times and nobody was picking up the phone, so I set up a time (over email) to be called by someone with decision making power. They no-showed the time we had arranged. Their explanation for why: there were actually a lot of customers in my position, and they were currently swamped.

When the couch finally shipped, we double checked what they were offering us and were told that the 10% refund was actually separate from the free shipping and we were only getting one or the other (the shipping was a $150 value). I found this to be incredibly petty. Calling again, I expressed that I felt the current refund didn't reflect the doubling of the "worst case" timeline, and the customer service failures along the way. They increased the refund to 15%. I do not find this to be sufficient. I was also strongly discouraged from leaving a review by customer service, and was told by an employee that they would be personally punished if I left a negative review. On a personal level I feel bad for this person because they're being hung out to dry by their employer. On a professional/business level, leveraging the actual well-being of a person against my ability to share my bad experience is wild and a big red flag.

We were told to let them know when we received the couch so they could apply the refund. We did and got ghosted for 2 weeks! Again! We emailed and were told they would look into it, and we didn't hear from them for another week. What finally seemed to work was calling customer service (again, many times) and leaving a message. That got them to process the refund, but only half of what we had agreed to. I then called multiple times to no answer and left a message, after which point they finally got it right.

UPDATE: DreamSofa Reached out and offered a full refund. They were extremely apologetic and insistent that they have made changes. They mentioned being less optimistic with timelines and changing the way they stock fabrics. Also some of the customer service related delays were due to a family emergency. I note that a large part of this turning out okay for me and my wife was a lot of self-advocacy, keep that in mind if you have a bad experience. Ultimately I'd rather have paid in full and got it on time with no hassle. A 3.5/5 for me, I'm rounding it up here

I had high expectations of DreamSofa quality and service...and they have delivered (even exceeded) in every way. We love our sofas/chairs and couldn't be happier with the high-end quality. We had a few little issues (very minor) and all were resolved perfectly. Clyde Perang is our service expert and he has been amazing to deal with...always responsive, knowledgeable cheerful and capable. The whole experience had been great from start to finish. I would highly recommend DreamSofa!

I had heard about Dream Sofa from a furniture newsletter. I loved that their sofas were manufactured in California (as opposed to overseas), and they had so many options for customizations, such as sofa styles, fabric & colors, cushion firmness...

I worked with a representative to narrow down fabrics that would work best for me (I have pets) and ordered swatches. Once I was ready to order, I also discussed with the rep my concerns for delivery (my doorway is somewhat narrow), and she came up with a solution to ensure the sofa would fit through. The response time between messages was generally within a day.

While my sofa was being made, I received updates on its progress every two weeks. It took ~10 weeks from my order date to receiving my sofa, which wasn't a big deal since I wasn't in a rush. Note, I did get a custom length, which added to the time.

The sofa was better in person than I could have imagined. It also came with matching pillows! It was nerve wracking making a big purchase without seeing the product in person, but I felt the website accurately represented the final product. I will say, ordering swatches is a must! The colors are a bit different from online vs. in person, which isn't surprising, and it'll also give you a better idea of the different fabric textures (they have so many options!)

Overall, I highly recommend ordering your "dream" sofa from Dream Sofa!
