“Very disappointed with the pricing and lack of transparency.

I booked return flights from Dublin to Miami through Cassidy Travel for two people and paid €2,713.96.

I subsequently checked the corresponding booking directly with Aer Lingus and found the same flights, including bags and seats, at a significantly lower price.

I contacted Cassidy Travel to understand the difference and was told that the difference was their agency markup. I was also told that they do not disclose the exact amount of that markup.

My issue is not that a travel agency charges a fee. My concern is that I was not provided with a clear breakdown before payment showing the additional amount being charged above the airline fare.

I raised this with Cassidy Travel but, despite several attempts to have the matter reviewed, I was ultimately told that their position was final and that there had been no error or omission.

I found the experience very disappointing and will not be using Cassidy Travel in future and will be relaying my experience with family and friends.

I would recommend checking the airline's direct price carefully before booking through Cassidy Travel.”

Myself and my friend are using Cassidy Travel for years and we have never had any complaints. The girls in Blanchardstown are very helpful , particularly Rosie and Louise . They know us well and tailor our trips to suit our needs . We wouldn’t travel with any other travel agents . Thanks for the great service down through the years

Booked tryka lisbon through cassidys. Absolute disaster from the off. Booking not recognised in airport so had to que for 60 mins to sort out. Meal promised on flight [I have email proof] but aer lingus knew nothing about it. Was also promised a double room for myself and my partner (again I have proof) twin room only available. Again booking not recognised at check in to tryka event. Emailed cassidys to relay my difficulties only for them to email back blaming aer lingus, the hotel and the organisers of tryka. I send a 2nd email to which I got no reply. Extremely unprofessional company.We paid cassidys over 22000 euro for them to ruin our trip and take no responsibility.
