[UPDATE]: After my initial review regarding the heavy international banking fees that reduced my refund, the central customer service team (specifically Anastasia) immediately reached out to me.

They took full responsibility for the missing amount lost to intermediary banks. Instead of making excuses, they proactively explored alternative and modern payment methods (using Revolut) to send the remaining balance directly to my local currency account, ensuring I didn't lose a single cent.

Although the initial experience at the Samos local desk and the traditional banking process were frustrating, the central support team's dedication to making things right was truly impressive. They proved that they genuinely care about customer satisfaction and are willing to put in the extra effort to fix mistakes. Thank you for resolving this so professionally in the end!

I was unfairly charged an extra 40 EUR at the Samos desk by the local agent despite prior notification. After returning from my trip, I contacted Cargini's central support team. I had to provide multiple pieces of evidence (WhatsApp records, the local rental agreement, and my official credit card bank statement) to prove that the charge was unjustified.

To their credit, the central customer service team investigated the matter, acknowledged the local agent's mistake, and officially agreed to refund the 40 EUR.

However, instead of simply refunding the amount directly to the credit card they charged, they opted for an international bank transfer (SWIFT) and reflected the transfer costs onto me. Due to the sending bank and intermediary bank fees, the 40 EUR refund arrived in my account as only 16 EUR.

I appreciate that the central support team eventually resolved the issue, took responsibility, and kept their word. However, the initial unfair treatment at the local desk, the exhausting bureaucratic process to prove my case, and the costly refund method make this a bittersweet resolution.

Best car hire experience I've ever had. Quick collection from airport, 10-minute free shuttle to car, friendly and got lots of tips on the journey. No pressure from them whatsoever - usually car hire is a headache and there's pressure to buy more from them, especially their own insurance at an extortionate cost, but not here (I'd purchased full insurance in advance from my home country, but their cost was actually very reasonable, and I trust them, so I'd happily buy full insurance from them next time).
Hassle free experience. Nice people. Good prices. Trustworthy. Good communication. I'll 100% use them again. Thank you for making the experience so easy!

I had a nice experience with Cargini. The booking process was simple, the staff friendly and helpful, and the car was clean and in perfect condition.

Paid online put our flight number in so they knew when we landed got there guy had a bad attitude was asking for extra money In cash over 4 time the agreed price was asking for deposit on card plus cash deposit. There prices are cheap through a third party app and then when you get there they try to have your pants down. Definitely not worth the headache or hassle. You should be able to pay the deposit when paying on the app so there wouldn’t be not funny business. Gives Albania a bad first impression.

Siamo stati molto ben accolti con il servizio di Rentacar Cargini, ci hanno dato un' auto nuova in ottime condizioni, sono stati molto gentili ed efficiente. Hanno mostrato molta disponibilità e ci hanno accontentato per le nostre richieste, in estate torneremo a Tirana e utilizzeremo ancora il loro servizio.

No lo recomiendo. Me sentí estafado. Muy mal. Muy descontento. Me he tomado mi tiempo para opinar. Primero alquilamos un coche superior al que nos sirvieron. Si bien era bastante nuevo, pagamos por un coche superior de gama. Íbamos con una niña y la silla para ella, era vieja y muy sucia. El coche funcionó bien. Pero lo peor es que habiendo pagado un seguro premium a todo riesgo a la hora de alquilar el coche con un operador, nos hicieron pagar y en metálico, otro "seguro" premium porque decían, que no se responsabilizaban de la posible grua o accidentes porque el seguro no era suyo, sino de un operador. Empezábamos nuestro viaje y no era tiempo de más discusiones. No sé si contestarán al mensaje y que dirán, pero tengo toda la documentación y fotografías que lo demuestran.
