Η χειρότερη εμπειρία ενοικίασης αυτοκινήτου σε περισσότερα από 50 χρόνια που που μισθώνω όχημα στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό.
Αντίθετα από τον ισχυρισμό της εταιρείας ότι το αυτοκίνητο παραλαμβάνεται στο αεροδρόμιο, πρέπει κανείς να ταξιδέψει αρκετά χιλιόμετρα μέχρι να το βρει και να συμπληρώσει τα κατάλληλα έγγραφα.
Το δε αυτοκίνητο (FΙΑΤ Talanto που μας δώσανε ως παρόμοιο ενός OPEL Vivaro) ήταν σε άθλια κατάσταση:
To παρμπριζ ήταν χτυπημένο, έλειπε ένας υαλοκαθαριστήρας και η πίσω πινακίδα ήταν ζωγραφισμένη με το χέρι.
Το χειροκίνητο κιβώτιο ταχυτήτων ενίοτε δεν έπαιρνε την 2η ταχύτητα, και κάποιες φορές ο συμπλέκτης ήταν κολλημένος στο πάτωμα
Μια από τις ζώνες ασφαλείας ήταν σπασμένη, και τα κομμάτια της ήταν συναρμολογημένα με χαρτοταινία, με αποτέλεσμα να κινδυνευουμε απο προεξεχοντα αιχμηρά αντικείμενα. Οι δε υπάλληλοι με τους οποίους επικοινωνήσαμε ήταν θρασείς και αγενείς. Η Cargini θα πρέπει να είναι βελτιώσει τον στόλο της, να εκπαιδευσει το προσωπικό της και να είναι ειλικρινής σχετικά με την απόσταση των αυτοκινήτων τους απο το αεροδρόμιο.
The worst car rental experience in more than 50 years of renting cars in Greece and abroad.
Contrary to the company's claim that the car is picked up at Athens International Airport, one has to travel quite a few kilometers to find it and fill out the appropriate paperwork.
The car itself (a Fiat Talento given to us as an equivalent to an OPEL) was in terrible condition:
The windshield was damaged, one wiper was missing and the rear license plate was hand-painted.
The manual gearbox sometimes wouldn't go into 2nd gear, and sometimes the clutch was stuck to the floor.
One of the seat belts was broken, and its parts were put together with tape, resulting in sharp jutting plastic pieces in the cabin. The company personel we contacted were cheeky and rude. Cargini should improve their car fleet, train their personel and be truthful about the distance between the airport and their cars.

Buona esperienza, prenotato auto 1 settimana a fine giugno , prezzo molto conveniente e buon servizio, è venuta una ragazza a prenderci all'aeroporto e ci ha accompagnato all'ufficio che si trova a 5 minuti dall'aeroporto, molto gentile e disponibile, pratiche burocratiche veloci ,anche la riconsegna al ritorno nessun problema. In meno di una settimana ci hanno restituito la cauzione che avevano bloccato sulla carta.

Avoid!!! They are definitely troublemakes! At pick up, the front desk agent said my name on the credit card was not totally noticeable and made us pay for full insurance to get the car. At drop off, the women started yelling and saying the deposit wasn't totally full and made us come back to the gas station and make a video to prove it. Apart from both drivers who did our airport transfers (who were very nice and helpful), the remaining staff was super rude.

Regarding the vehicle collection, the card presented at the rental desk could not be accepted because the cardholder details were not clearly visible, which is a requirement for security and verification purposes. To allow the rental to proceed, the available options were explained, including additional coverage that removes the need for a security deposit. This option was offered as a choice and was not mandatory.
Concerning the fuel level at return, all vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as provided at pick-up. During the return inspection, there was a discrepancy regarding the fuel level, and our team requested additional verification to ensure the matter was assessed fairly and accurately.
We are particularly concerned by your comments regarding the attitude of our staff, as courteous and professional service is something we take seriously. Your feedback has been noted and will be reviewed internally.
While we regret that your overall impression was not positive, we appreciate your recognition of our airport transfer drivers and thank you for sharing your experience.

My experience
Our flight came in early so the van that was due to pick us up wasn't there yet. We rang the office and it arrived within 10 minutes. Staff lovely, car was nice, except the 'sos' wasn't working, which meant all the warnings kept appearing on the dash. The staff member told us this was fine and not to worry everything was fine. This was all good but after a few days when the water sign or air in tyres sign etc flashed up I wasn't sure if it was just the electric malfunction or if the problem was real. So yeah I had to check these things just to be on the safe side.

The car we received was a big downgrade…
The car we received was a big downgrade from what we purchased. It was missing features we specifically searched for like CarPlay. Luckily they had 1 phone holder available in their office, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to navigate while driving. The phone holder was pretty bad though and my phone kept falling out. A bunch of warnings lights were on inside the car, but they said it was fine so we went on our trip.
The policy said ‘Full to Full’, but the car was almost empty when we received it, so we had to find a gas station the moment we started driving, which were all more expensive around the airport.
When we asked for any kind of compensation, considering we rented a Kia Stonic (SUV) and got a small Fiat, our request was not heard and were told it’s ‘similar enough’.
Never experiences something like this through DiscoverCars before, we’ll definitely avoid them in the future.

Amazing rental experience in Corfu
I am very happy with my car rental experience with Cargini. I literally have no complaints, everything was great. First of all, I would like to reassure you that there is no reason to worry regarding the amount that was blocked by our partner in Malta. It is only a pre-authorisation (block) and not a charge, so no funds have been collected.
The release of the blocked amount is an automated banking process, which can take up to 30 working days, depending on the bank. Normally, no action is required from our side.
However, to assist you and give you peace of mind, we have already contacted our local partner in Malta and asked them to get in touch with their bank in order to request the immediate release of the pre-authorised amount.

Bei der Abholung war der Vermieter…
Bei der Abholung war der Vermieter nicht besonders freundlich, er wirkte etwas genervt. Bei der Rückgabe war eine Dame anwesend, die sehr freundlich war. In Hinblick auf den wirklich guten Mietpreis für 8 Tage, nimmt man das in Kauf. Die Rückzahlung der Kaution mit 4 Wochen fand ich extrem lang. Das Fahrzeug war klein, was aber ein Vorteil für das parken war. Insgesamt kann man den Anbieter weiterempfehlen.
