Sono arrivato al banco per ritirare l'auto e mi hanno detto che al posto del mio cognome c'era la mia email... Sia l'assistenza clienti che il noleggiatore GOLD si sono rimpallati il problema senza alcuna soluzione. Risultato niente auto e niente rimborso... I dati del noleggio li mette il sito automaticamente quando prenoti aereo e macchina. Fate attenzione esperienza pessima da evitare come la peste... Non noleggiate auto insieme al biglietto aereo rayan air se avete un problema non Ve lo risolvono e vi fregano soldi..

Ho avuto un ritardo dell'aereo per Fiumicino ( il volo raynair è atterrato alle 1930 ) ma, il noleggio target rent era già chiuso (chiude alle 1900 ) impossibile ritirare la macchina e cosi ho perso il noleggio.
NaturalmeNte non c'e' nenache un numero per le emergenze anche per potere ritirare la macchina pagando qualcosa in più fuori orario.
Non noleggerò mai più auto tramite rayan air diffidate dai loro prezzi bassi.
Ogni cavillo o pretesto è buono per non darti la macchina

I booked a hire car through Ryanair and was incorrectly charged a rebooking fee due to an issue with the Ryanair app. I initially selected the correct pick-up location, but after I amended the booking to upgrade my car, the website automatically changed the pick-up point to the airport without my consent.

As a result, I was charged a rebooking fee of 65£ which arose solely because of this app error. I will request a full refund of the rebooking fee.

Ho messo 1 stella perchè zero non è possibile. La compagnia TARGETRENT, propostami da RYANAIR al momento della prenotazione del volo, è totalmente inaffidabile. Ricevuta auto sporca, con oltre 66 mila km, danneggiata in più parti. Ha presentato rumori anomali durante tutta la locazione (semiassi?), è rimasta senza fari anabaglianti per 2 giorni. Al momento della riconsegna mie è stato detto che mi avrebbero svincolato la cauzione e invece il giorno dopo mi hanno addebitato un danno non contestato durante la consegna. Da quanto risulta dai giudizi di numerose altre persone è fortemente sconsigliato utilizzarla

Total scam between Ryanair and gold car, turned up to collect the car from gold car in Lanzarote to be told my card that I had paid with through Ryanair needed 6 months left on it to pay the deposit, I pointed out to him it has! Then to be told it needed my full name with no abbreviations, none of my cards have my full name just my initials and surname, but he would accept my card if I took out their insurance @ €195, I didn’t need their insurance because I already had an excess waiver policy in place.

Avoid U-Save, CarTrawler, and Ryanair! I rent cars all over Europe and this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They claim their office is a 7-minute ride, but if you miss their shuttle bus, it easily takes 30 minutes to get there, which can easily make you miss your flight. They have zero flexibility and won't let you return the car earlier outside their exact hours, unlike normal rental companies. Instead, they try to force you into buying their extra £300 insurance. If you refuse, they just keep your money, cancel everything, and tell you to clear it up with Ryanair. Total scam and horrible service, stay far away from them!

220€ mis à la poubelle à Europcar Lisbonne. Impossible de récupérer la voiture et je me suis retrouvé entre le service client du loueur et de Ryanair.

Never again!! We arrived in Alicante at 10.15pm only to find that Centuro would not issue a car to us, which was all paid before because it was not in my name. I am positively sure that my details were imported from my RyanAir booking, however, I admit that I did not check. When we arrived the booking was in my email address, even though it contained my name, the car could not be issued. When I talked to Ryanair through their provider, they informed me, I should have changed it before we arrived - even though I did not know there was a problem, and they had followed their rules and regulations, so they would not refund me. Very helpful...not. So I arrived in Alicante with my tired 84 year old parents and no car. Centuro were good and I ended up hiring another car, but at twice the price. They told me that if I had made the same mistake on their system it would have been easily changeable. So my advice is NEVER use Ryanair car hire. It seems to me they are happy to build their business on people's mistakes, and are not interested in helping their customers.

We were refused the car hire we booked as they insisted that our Tesco credit card was a virtual card from a virtual bank. We had the physical card which clearly states it is visa and MasterCard but they would not accept it. Nothing on paperwork to tell us they don't accept Tesco cards

Extremely disappointing experience with Delpaso and the car rental booking process through Ryanair.

I booked a rental car only 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up, but I was not clearly informed during the booking process that a credit card was mandatory to collect the vehicle. Had this essential requirement been clearly communicated, I would never have made the booking.

To make matters worse, I was told that free cancellation is only possible at least 48 hours before the rental starts. This means I was effectively unable to benefit from free cancellation because I booked the car just 24 hours in advance.

When I contacted customer support for help, they were unable to resolve the issue and informed me that a €100 cancellation fee would apply. On top of that, nobody explained during the conversation that the money paid for additional insurance would also be non-refundable.

I find this extremely frustrating and unfair. Customers should be clearly informed of essential requirements and all potential costs before paying. I should not have to face significant financial losses because a crucial rental condition was not adequately communicated.

I tried to resolve the matter directly and requested a fair solution and a full refund, but the experience has been very disappointing.

I hope the company takes responsibility for this situation and improves its communication and customer service. I would strongly advise anyone considering booking with Delpaso through Ryanair to carefully check the credit card requirements, cancellation policy, and insurance refund terms before making a payment.

We rented a car from Goldcar in Malaga via Ryanair Car Hire from September 8 to September 24, 2026, seemingly at a very good price.
When picking up the car, the Goldcar employee pressured us heavily to purchase extra insurance, causing the total price to jump from €136 to €476—an additional cost of more than double the original rental fee.
We declined, as we already had insurance coverage—a decision that made him quite aggressive.
Upon receiving the car, we were given a form showing the vehicle's existing damage. A detailed inspection revealed significantly more damage, including some quite major issues. We asked for an updated form noting the additional damage, but Goldcar refused to provide one.
It was abundantly clear to us that if we didn't pay for the extra insurance, there was a distinct risk Goldcar would find another way to make us pay—specifically, by charging us for damage that already existed when we rented the car.
We had to be on our way and simply felt we had no choice but to pay the high price for the required extra insurance; otherwise, there was a clear risk of being unfairly charged a much larger amount after returning the vehicle.
Upon returning home, we complained to Ryanair Car Hire about this attempt to scam us. Ryanair Car Hire responded very quickly, stating that they could not deal with this apparent attempt to defraud us.
It is therefore our clear view that renting a Goldcar vehicle through Ryanair Car Hire can entail a significant financial risk for customers, unless they are prepared to pay several times the quoted rental price.

I would give 0 if I could. Not given the car we hired on booking. Palmed off with an old Dacia that had zero suspension, bleeped throughout every journey for no reason (doors were closed properly etc) other than the car was old and knackered. The most uncomfortable car ever. No screen wash for dusty Morocco which is unsafe. Terrible condition. Do not book car hire with Ryanair, I never will again!

Avoid booking with Ryanair car hire. As they are essentially middlemen, the car hire company in whatever country you land will treat you differently from a direct customer. I hired a car via Ryanair, who state that you need a credit card with your FULL name to hire the car, as this would be required in the case of an accident for the excess to be charged. I do not own a card with my full name on, so purchased an additional policy at the time of booking to cover this instead, however, when collecting the car, they refused to let me proceed, as they required a full named card. There was a poster on the wall, not 2 feet from where I stood that said no credit card would be required when hiring a car, but this was for direct rentals only. Frustratingly, I then had to pay for a whole new hire with them direct, another £350 + 200 Euros to cover any shortfall in the fuel upon return, without a credit card required, the latter is refundable (though still awaiting this a week later). I did take a video of the car when collecting, as there were numerous dings and scrapes, and even one of the wheels was the spare, with no spare wheel in the car!.

Havde lejet bil og betale forsikring med mit Visa dankort alt godt..... men nej det samme visakort kunne så ikke lige bruges til depositum så måtte leje en anden bil på andre vilkår pris 2100kr og de 450kr der er betale for vi ikke tilbage..... svindel og humbug

Wynajęliśmy vana (9os.) skuszeni niską ceną. Odbiór na lotnisku w Palermo. Wg umowy z RyanAir 3250 zł za siedem miało być ostateczną sumą. Lokalizacja odbioru (premium), wszystkie podatki, Assistance wliczone. „Quick pass”: odbierzesz tylko kluczyk do samochodu! Obiecanki!!!
Ha, ha!!! Na miejscu firma Budget doliczyła 170 € + ok 110€ za drugiego kierowcę (uzgodnione wcześniej). Musiałem zapłacić, bo byśmy nie dostali samochodu. Trzy tygodnie bezowocnej korespondencji.
Szkoda nerwów. Nigdy więcej wypożyczenia poprzez tanie linie lotnicze.

Complaint against RYANAIR CAR RENTAL, CARTRAWLER as an INTERMEDIARY AGENT and ABBYCAR.

CAR TRAWLER, ABBYCAR AND RYANAIR CAR RENTAL are SCAMMERS and part of a large scheme deceiving customers.

Lost ca. EUR 240 in pre-payment and did the transaction ALL through RYANAIR portal - and thought it was safe.

The car was not delivered as they did not accept my card for safety deposit (even working for test payment). Then they said they did not accept revolut or amex cards (not written anywhere)

I asked for refund immediately and they said they could not solve it and that i should contact ryanair, which, then forwarded to cartrawler.

Politely answere AI generated emails, but nothing is solved after weeks and refund was DENIED.

As a result, I rented a last minute (much larger) car at HERTZ at extremely high overprice.

Definitely the WORST CAR RENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER, even travelling to lots of other places.

ABBYCAR, CARTRAWLER, RYANAIR earn MONEY with SCAMS on PRE-PAY, cancellation and overbooking of car rentals as part of their business model.

RYANAIR CAR RENTAL is an active part of the SCAM and do not bother - as they earn their percentage fees on the car rental business.

Abbycar was FILTHY, employees eating lunches disgustingly in front of you, laughing and doing jokes in Greek at your face - and they know exactly the scam scheme - the perfect tourist trap

Concerning CARTRAWLER, the company does not take any ACCOUNTABILITY to audit shady small car rental companies. The business model is based on customers that will be deceived in a foreign country and will likely not take any criminal action against these companies.

They clearly know how to have predatory upfront-fee scam which benefit these churn and burn small rental companies. Everyone in this business scheme wins.

CUSTOMERS are the only ONES LOOSING.

Will never rent anymore from these small car rental companies - Cheap comes out expensive.

I gave it 1 as I had to put something! Worse experience ever… do not book if flying to Bydgoszcz in Poland. Female booking, intimated by 3 males. I was only customer. Verbally abused and physically intimidated! Ended up without car Ryanair normal shoddy complaints system and difficult to contact. Do not use Ryanair car hire!

⭐ Très mauvaise expérience avec Ryanair Car Hire

Nous avions réservé et payé une voiture pour notre séjour en Italie. À notre arrivée, le véhicule nous a été refusé alors que les conditions de location étaient respectées : la conductrice principale était bien indiquée sur le contrat et disposait de sa carte de crédit personnelle à son nom.

Après près de 3 heures d’attente à l’aéroport, nous avons été obligés de louer un autre véhicule, pour un montant de 516,61 € supplémentaires.

Malgré l’envoi de tous les justificatifs et plusieurs réclamations, Ryanair Car Hire / CarTrawler refuse toujours de reconnaître le problème et de nous rembourser.

Une situation très décevante et un véritable stress pendant nos vacances. Nous demandons simplement le remboursement des 516,61 € de frais supplémentaires occasionnés par ce refus.

Nous déconseillons vivement de passer par ce service tant que ce type de problème n’est pas correctement pris en charge.

Never rent a car from Ryanair. Booked a Car from Ryanair, bat was refused at the desk. Sent me to Cartrawler, which was not helpful at all. Ruined my vacation. Never Ryanair again.
