I received a dead battery
I received a dead battery. After a couple of emails, they agreed to a refund rather than a replacement. It looks like they think it is my fault. I have replaced hundreds of laptop batteries, but their customer service was 100% polite/professional.

Easy to find the right battery
Easy to select the correct battery for my laptop model. Arrived quickly with all the tools required to open the laptop and replace the battery. Laptop now displays a healthy battery. Hopefully it will last a while longer now. Now looking at replacing the battery in another laptop using this site.

Bought a replacement battery for a Bose…
Bought a replacement battery for a Bose speaker, battery arrived and was flat. Installed it and charged the speaker, battery still didn’t hold any charge.
Contacted BatteryBuy, zero response from them. Do not order from them!!

⚠️ Warning: Faulty battery, misleading “UK” impression, and no accountability
Purchased a compatible Dyson V12 battery on 14/11/24. It took quite a while to arrive, and only later — when I had to contact them in January — did I realise this was because the company is not actually UK‑based, despite the website giving that impression at the time. They now appear to have a UK warehouse, but this was not the case when I purchased, and the long delivery time reflected that.
From the beginning, the battery never calibrated with my Dyson as advertised. The display information constantly changed, so you never knew which status was correct. After around 10–11 months, the Dyson’s display began disappearing completely during use, meaning I had no idea how much runtime was left.
I initially wrote this off, thinking I should have reported it sooner. But after receiving marketing emails encouraging me to buy again, I decided to contact the company and explain that the battery had been faulty from day one. It never calibrated, and then the display fault developed — clearly not fit for purpose.
I explained that under the Consumer Rights Act, a product should last a reasonable amount of time (up to around 5 years for something like a battery), and that I was not contacting them under the warranty. Unfortunately, because they were not a UK company at the time, they ignored every point I raised and repeatedly referred back to their 12‑month warranty, claiming that was the only thing that applied.
They did not address the calibration issue, the disappearing display, or the fact that the battery was faulty from the start. All they offered was a small discount to buy another battery.
Every reply simply circled back to “out of warranty,” completely dismissing the actual problem. Overall, a waste of time, very poor customer service, and I will not be purchasing from them again.
Update
As shown in their reply below, they have once again failed to acknowledge the core issue — that the battery was not fit for purpose and did not last a reasonable amount of time as required under the Consumer Rights Act. Instead of addressing the calibration fault present from day one, or the display failure that developed well within a reasonable lifespan, they continue to rely solely on their 12‑month warranty. This completely ignores their legal responsibility when a product is faulty from the start.

For transparency, we would like to clarify the timeline of this order. The battery was purchased on 14 November 2024 and delivered within approximately 20 days in December 2024. However, the first time we were contacted regarding any product issue was 23 January 2026, which was more than one year after delivery and outside our 12-month warranty period.
Lithium-ion batteries are consumable products, and their capacity and performance naturally decrease over time depending on usage, charging habits, and operating conditions. Because of the time elapsed, we were unfortunately unable to determine whether the reported behavior was caused by a manufacturing defect or normal wear after extended use.
Although the warranty had already expired, our customer service team still tried to offer a goodwill solution by applying for a 15% discount on a new battery. Unfortunately, this proposal was not acceptable to you.
We always strive to treat every customer fairly and consistently according to our published warranty policy while offering reasonable assistance whenever possible. We sincerely regret that we were unable to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution and wish you all the best.

Ordered a battery for my Bose Soundlink Air, which is no longer available from Bose, and the only other aftermarket supplier in Germany could not supply either. Unfortunately the battery was faulty / incompatible despite all the advice I was given by Bose. Poor quality aftermarket rubbish
I bought a battery one and a half years ago, but it no longer lasts more than about one hour under normal use. The quality appears to be very poor. Under load, the voltage likely drops so low that the laptop’s protection electronics cut off the power completely. As a result, the device shuts down instantly without any warning, instead of performing a normal Windows shutdown.
This battery has a BMS controller, but honestly, what is the point if it reports completely false values and behaves like it has a life of its own? Absolute junk. This is not acceptable for a battery that is only around 18 months old. Based on my experience, the battery is low quality, unreliable, and I would not recommend buying from here again.

A great experience at every stage. The correct battery for my not-very-common Asus Chromebook was easily established, the price was highly competitive, delivery was just over 2 weeks and the technical support that, eventually got the battery working was outstanding. This last issue was entirely my fault - making a good electrical connection was surprisingly tricky, but nothing to do with the battery.

First-generation Kindle Battery replacement
Bought a replacement battery for my first-generation Kindle.
