Great service and quality
Pre-order check service worked brilliantly for our two Lenovo netbooks (3 and 6 years old). Batteries arrived quickly and well packed. (Evri did, however,leave them on the doorstep without ringing or knocking! Not LBS fault!). I'm quite happy with opening and fitting bits to netbooks but included tools meant that I didn't have to search out my own tools. Performance obviously much improved from old batteries even after first charge. Should only get better still with continued use. Many thanks for brilliant service.

Batteries don't last long unfortunately
Originally posted this review on the page for AolsteCell (the actual company) but I'm posting here for better visibility to new customers.
I've had two batteries from here (an IdeaPad 5 70Wh battery), both failed within less than 12 months. The first after 6 months, and the second after 10 months. To their credit, I got the second one as a free replacement for the first within the 12-month warranty period.
When the second one failed, they wouldn't cover it (no replacement or partial refund) because the warranty covers the purchase and not the battery itself. Policy is fair but the situation is ridiculous when the batteries don't last longer than a year. They did offer a discount on a new purchase, but the only reconciliation here being paying out of pocket for a new battery that I feel would likely be the same doesn't sit right with me.
The batteries weren't used very heavily either. I leave my laptop plugged in most of the time, I would estimate there was only less than 300 cycles for this last battery.
It's a big shame, but I'm giving two stars for the good experience with talking to customer support I've had at least.

We would like to clarify that your original order was placed in April 2025. After the first battery failed approximately six months later, we provided a free replacement battery under our 12-month warranty policy. Unfortunately, the replacement battery also developed an issue after further use.
According to our warranty terms, the warranty period is calculated from the original purchase date rather than restarting with a replacement unit. As the first battery was already beyond the 12-month warranty period when the second issue occurred, we were unable to provide another free replacement. We understand this may not have been the outcome you hoped for, but we must apply the same warranty policy consistently for all customers.
We would also like to mention that lithium-ion batteries are consumable components, and their lifespan can vary depending on usage habits, charging cycles, operating conditions, and other factors. While we always aim to provide reliable and long-lasting batteries, the exact lifespan can differ from one device and user to another.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. We will continue working to improve our products and service.

Ordered a replacement battery for a Lenovo IdeaPad C340 and was really impressed with the price and then the delivery timeframe. They Included a Pick, a Plectrum and mini Drivers!
I'm usually one of those people who leave a bad review, however in this case it's not.
Battery arrived quickly, so I popped off to grab my pick to pop the laptop open and....the ex seems to have tossed stuff out (not a surprise) so it sat there for a few days, decided to pop the box open just to be sure the battery was the right one and to my surprise, they supply a pick, plectrum and a couple of magnetic drivers (mini phillips and mini torx) the phillips fitted all the screws and the pic was good enough to op the back with no issues and probably has a few uses left too.
Genuinely welcome surprise to find the tools in with the battery.
All fitted now and charging ok. All I can do now is wait to see how it lasts but so far it's a thumbs up!

Lenovo X280 Thinkpad failed. On line advice suggested battery controller, within the battery. I reckoned it was worth speculating £33 to see whether a new battery would solve the problem.It did and also looks to be storing much more than the old one did. Success.

Accurate fit (Yoga C740)
Accurate fit (Yoga C740), worked immediately - had some charge in it, included helpful fitting tools. The original symptoms are alarming, old battery only showed 5% and was rapidly discharging to zero, so laptop became unuseable.

Very Poor quality
Poor quality. The battery that was bought was difficult to calibrate properly in the first place. Thereafter it has hardly lasted for about an year from installation. It started worsening exactly the 13th month after purchase but within an year after installing in the laptop. I contacted them to no avail. Clearly made to fail. Strictly avoid. There is no customer recourse with them either.
I saw the reply and it seems a standard one. No proper lithium battery should ideally fail within a year. This is obviously of very low standard with significant metal impurities hence the issue that it is not just a fail as all the cells have gone completely and it doesnt retain charge for even 10min. Clearly not a serendipity issue but a mnanufacturing issue. This is what I want any future customers to understand. It is a toss of coin when you purchase with them.
