Great service from Ricardo at Banham
Just had Ricardo out to fix my doorlock and he was fantastic.Polite, professional and courteous, he quickly assessed the problem and offered me the alternatives – whether to get him to fix the lock or to bring in an alternative supplier to fix the door. He fixed the problem himself and his work was very neat and tidy. Looks like I won't need him back for another 25 years! Great service from the team at Banham

No one turned up for my maintenance…
No one turned up for my maintenance visit and no one called in advance to cancel. I wasted half a day waiting in for them. It’s the third time I’ve had scheduled service appointments cancelled with little or no notice. While the engineers themselves are great, the office support and booking process seems to be chaotic.

Reliable and helpful
Reliable and helpful. They no longer remind me to book an annual visit, which was helpful. The time slot for the visit is eg 8.30 -1pm whereas a shorter slot to stay in would be more convenient or texts giving some indication of likely arrival time.

Two failed key-cutting attempts, ignored complaint, no follow-through
EDIT: John went out of his way to make this right, so I appreciate that.
I took 6 keys to the Banham Golders Green branch to be cut. When I collected them, 5 of the 6 were cut incorrectly and didn't work. I went back a week later to have them redone, then the replacements were also cut incorrectly, meaning two separate visits and the same failure both times.
What makes this worse is that Banham keys can only be cut by Banham, customers have no alternative supplier to go to. When a company holds that kind of exclusivity, it feels like a basic obligation to actually get the job done correctly. Instead, I've paid for a service that has failed twice, with no fix and no refund. It's hard not to feel like you're stuck paying for something they simply can't deliver.
I submitted a formal written complaint asking Banham to collect the originals from my home, correctly cut the keys, and issue a refund given the service had failed twice. I never received a reply. I then called the Golders Green branch directly, where I was told someone would be sent to collect the keys and resolve it. No one came, and I've had no further contact since.
I urgently need these keys for contractor access, and this has caused real delays because of Banham's repeated errors and lack of response. For a security company, this level of unaccountability is genuinely concerning. I'd think carefully before ever getting Banham locks. There are a total of 5 Banham locks on this property, one just expects a level of service from such an expensive and renowned brand.

Ricardo is the best
Ricardo is the best. We had our brand new banham deadbolts installed by the fitters who made our new doors - big mistake. They damaged one badly enough to make it inoperable, and two other needed repair work to function properly.
Ricardo came to our service appointment, quickly diagnosed the issues, fixed two of the locks on the spot and had the other repaired and reinstalled within 48 hours. He’s also kind and considerate, a very comfortable person to have in one’s home. Thank you!

on Tuesday 7th July , two incredible young men Matt and Chris, arrived at my sister in laws apartment ,in Norland square, she was not around, they had my number to call, they are smart and out of the box thinkers, they just helped to solve what seemed like an impossible mission, they waited patiently for someone to open up , they calmly got the alarm system working , solved a problem that had been causing problems , made phone calls to the office ,they went beyond the call of duty, congratulations Banhams for hiring such smart , willing , well spoken , polite, young men, its often said Banhams is pricey, well its worth every cent , you get what you pay for.
