Nice tiles but exorbitant delivery charge
I am a returning customer. I find the tiles are beautiful albeit the colours are not as vibrant as on the website. The biggest problem with this company is that the delivery charges are very high compared to other companies. they should really consider going out to tender with other couriers to be more competitive

Great tiles, had to wait a while for the stock to be in but used their notify option on the website to say in stock, they honoured a 10% off voucher I received because they weren't in stock at the time. love the tiles

Beautiful tiles. I bought the white version but they are more like a pale grey. I think this is actually more natural looking, like a pale stone, so I’m ok with that. Although based on traditional tin tiles, they are made of ceramic

Awful company goods never arrived
Awful company. Borderline scam. No emails, texts or updates, no tracking information. Missed delivery. Rescheduled 1 week later before 12pm.....no text, phone call updates nothing. Depot unable to connect with driver. Still no delivery. Told between 2-4pm....no tracking no text no phone call STILL NO delivery. Nobody calls you back.
Avoid at all costs.

We’re sorry to read this, and we completely understand how frustrating this experience must have been.
Your order was originally scheduled for delivery on 2nd April via one of our specialist delivery partners. Unfortunately, we weren’t made aware by the courier that the delivery had been missed. When you contacted us that evening, their office had already closed for the day, so we weren’t able to get an immediate update.
This then coincided with the Easter bank holiday period, where the courier was closed, which meant we couldn’t contact them again until they reopened on 7th April. As soon as they were available, we got in touch to rearrange delivery and worked with you to find a suitable date, which was agreed for the 9th based on your availability.
We did request a pre-12pm delivery slot, however the courier did not meet this and delivered later in the afternoon, at 16.38 - 38 minutes after this review was posted. We appreciate this wasn’t what was agreed, and we did stay in contact throughout the day to provide updates as we received them. We also discussed alternative options with you at the time, including a refund, but understand you still wanted to go ahead with receiving the tiles.
We want to be clear that we are not a scam. We work with specialist couriers for tile deliveries due to the weight and fragile nature of the goods, and while we always push for clear communication and reliable service, we are reliant on the information they provide to us. In this case, a combination of a missed delivery, bank holiday closures, and courier delays led to a much longer wait than expected.
That said, we do take this seriously and will be raising this directly with the courier involved. This isn’t the level of service we aim to provide, and we’re sorry for the experience you had.

Took ages to get my samples. For “artisan” tiles they are cheap looking and bad quality. They make you pay in full for the return costs.

We’re unable to locate a specific order from your review, but if your samples were ordered around the recent bank holiday period, this may have affected delivery times. Sample orders are sent via Royal Mail and local couriers, who can operate on reduced schedules over bank holidays. Our sample orders are delivered between 3 and 5 working days of placing the order.
In terms of the tiles themselves, we appreciate that design and finish can be very subjective. This is exactly why we offer samples with free delivery, so customers can see the tiles in person before committing to a full order.
Regarding returns, customers are responsible for return postage. This is outlined in our returns policy and terms and conditions prior to purchase.

We decided to collect our order from the Doncaster store and so pleased we did. The salesman was very helpful, helping us choose the right grout for our tiles and the showroom is amazing, even though displays are not fully complete, the tile stores in Lincoln could definitely learn a lot from you guys.
Next time I need tiles I will be buying from Artisan Tiles!
