I would not recommend Arrow Conveyancing based on my experience.

We accepted a no chain offer on our property in January and, despite now being 6 months later, we still do not have an agreed completion date. While I appreciate that not every delay is within a conveyancer's control, the level of customer service, communication and responsiveness from Arrow Conveyancing has been extremely disappointing throughout the process.

Communication has been poor,from Leonie amd her team with long periods of silence and little to no proactive updates. I have frequently had to chase for information, and responses have failed to appear or often been delayed or lacking in detail. This has made what is already a stressful process even more frustrating.

What has disappointed me most is the apparent lack of ownership and urgency. As a client, I expected greater transparency, regular communication and a genuine commitment to progressing the sale wherever possible.

We were obliged to use Arrow Conveyancing through our estate agent, Yopa, and unfortunately the experience has fallen well below my expectations. I sincerely hope they improve their communication, integrity, customer service, and proactivness as these are fundamental to providing a positive conveyancing experience.
I feel they forget they are proving a service to people who pay them, and at this moment in time the price is not reflective of the care and time shown.
Do not use these, do your research and do not let Yopa push you into using this company.

Currently trying to purchase a flat that falls under the 2022 Building Safety Act. Finding conveyancers able and willing to undertake such a job is difficult. Arrow might have been my seventh (yes, SEVENTH!!!) firm, but they couldn't even get the basics right. My initial quote had the Stamp Duty figure wrong (by around £24,000) I said try again. Came back with a higher figure but still almost £20,000 out. Not to mention fees for things I didn't need. They knew I was a cash buyer but still wanted to charge me for "Acting for the lender/mortgage" Stay away from these numpties.

Edit in reply to Arrow. From the outset I said I would be owning two properties. To get TWO quotes that were so far from what they should be is worrying. You got it right at third time of asking but only because *I* told you what the SDLT should be. You should be honest and admit your mistakes instead of spinelessly trying to blame the would be client.

TO NOTE: I have both PPMS and Myasthenia Gravis which severely curtail my ability to get about, made worse by living in a 1st floor flat with no lift... hence my needing to move.

For health reasons I have neither a driving licence (returned at request of DVLA in 2018 due to blurred and double vision caused by MG) nor a passport (expired many years ago and not renewed because I kept falling over, so decided travelling was no longer for me) However yesterday I obtained an ID1 from a Notary Public, which is the document the Land Registry require. I also have a letter from the solicitor dealing with my late father's estate confirming the source of my funds and three months' worth of bank statements. If you require more documents, please let me know.

You will be the seventh firm I have engaged. All but one have let me down badly (the first I engaged, a local Northampton firm, had to pull out the following day as their xxx office were acting for the vendor) to the point were the vendor has re-marketed the property due to the delays. One firm told me yes they could do the work (including that needed under the 2022 Act) then 9 weeks later pulled out saying "we can't do it because it's more than 3 storeys high". I'm sure you can understand my anger at hearing this. The current solicitors haven't replied to repeated emails and phone calls, the first of which was sent on 2nd June. Hence my search for another conveyancing solicitor.

I have the results of searches carried out by previous firms, as well as a Level 2 Survey report.

What I don't have, as a 66 year old retiree, is a printer, scanner or fax machine, so if you need to send documents that require a signature, these will need to be posted. I use a mobile phone for phone calls, otherwise everything else is done on either a MacBook Pro or iMac. I do not use smartphones or tablets as the screens are too small for my failing eyesight. If an app is phone or tablet only I will not be able to use it and some workaround will need to be found.

I have never in all my life received such awful service and had such an awful experience than with this lot.

Truly despicable experience

I used arrow to sell my house. It should have been a straight forward sale.
Speaking to or contacting my conveyancer was nearly impossible.
Phone calls were never returned and worse I was not sent some requests from my buyer - luckily I had their contact details so resolved that way.
I had to push at every stage to try and get anything done, even clear emails instructions were ignored.
I would not recommend Arrow at all, staggeringly poor service.

Our experience with Arrow was very mixed. Ultimately, their services got us to where we needed to be- as first-time buyers, our purchase completed within around 3–4 months and we achieved the outcome we wanted. However, it was far harder work than it should have been.

As first-time buyers, we needed guidance and support throughout the process, but we often felt explanations were rushed and that our questions were treated more as an inconvenience than something requiring proper support.

Our solicitor, Faiza, did help us reach the end goal, but communication and organisation were major issues throughout. On multiple occasions we had to repeatedly remind her what stage we were at and resend or re-explain documents and information we had already provided. It was also concerning to receive emails asking us to urgently contact her, only for her to answer the phone with “How can I help?” seemingly unaware of why we had been asked to call.

Almost consistently, emails containing documents, responses to queries, or requests for updates went unanswered unless we chased repeatedly. Considering we both work full time, the amount of effort required from us to keep the process moving was incredibly frustrating. It often felt as though progress only happened because of our persistence.

Due to Arrow’s poor communication, estate agents frequently contacted us directly for updates because they were unable to get responses themselves. This put us in an uncomfortable position and felt highly unprofessional.

Overall, we are grateful that we achieved the outcome we wanted, but the experience itself was unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. Had we read similar reviews beforehand, we likely would not have chosen Arrow ourselves- we were assigned to them through our mortgage broker, L&C.

Fahmida Chaudhury and Arrow was so fantastic. I have bought and sold numerous properties, always with delays, errors and just a slow slow slow process. This was the quickest, easiest and most pleasureable experience I have ever had. Fahmida was SO responsive, I was always kept up to date and when I was travelling she made sure everything was fast tracked to ensure I could stay on track for the fastest completion possible. I used Arrow Conveyancing as a first‑time buyer after they were recommended by my mortgage broker, L&C. Because L&C are exceptional, I assumed their conveyancing partners would also be reliable. Unfortunately, my experience with Arrow Conveyancing was extremely poor from start to finish.

Communication was consistently unprofessional. They were slow to respond, often unreachable, and I had to chase them repeatedly for basic updates. Much of the work was handled by juniors who clearly lacked experience and confidence, which led to multiple errors in important documents. Despite charging a fee for their “secure app,” almost everything was still done via email, making the app pointless.

Their senior staff were surprisingly rude and inflexible, even when issues were escalated. The focus felt entirely on fees rather than customer service. They added several unjustified charges which I had to contest, wasting more of my time. They were not thorough, not transparent, and struggled to answer even basic legal questions.

There were also serious quality‑control and compliance concerns. At one point, they breached my personal information by copying the wrong people into emails. They repeatedly asked for documents I had already provided, and even included duplicate charges under different names, which felt deceitful. They charged postage fees despite never posting anything to me.

Even after completion, they failed to send a completion pack or the full set of documents. I had to chase them several times just to receive essential information.

Overall, Arrow Conveyancing were unprofessional, disorganised, and customer‑care was almost non‑existent. Based on my experience, I would not recommend them to anyone. I strongly advise others to stay clear.
