I wish I have red the reviews before buying this hair dryer , they advertise as being a UK company , however they are NOT ! Products are sent from China . On the website it says a 7 day delivery and I got my hairdryer in 1 month ,and now they are refusing to pay for a return , which needs to be sent back to China !IT IS a SCAM !

Received hairdryer with a week. Have used it severaltimes. Pleased with my purchase

Je denkt dat je met een Nederlands bedrijf te maken hebt. Uiteindelijk komt de fohn vanuit China.
Het is op zich een prima fohn, maar niet voor EUR 200,- Terugsturen is op eigen kosten, iets wat je op de site niet kan vinden dat het naar China is. Vervolgens staat er ook nog in de kleine letters dat je bij terugzending de inklaringskosten nog moet terugbetalen, dit is ongeveer EUR 50,-,bovenop de verzendkosten. Uiteindelijk heb ik 30% korting weten te krijgen en heb ik de fohn gehouden. Klarna zegt niets te kunnen doen, je moet zelf opletten dat je niet met dropshipping te maken hebt zeggen ze.

Arrivato dopo quasi un mese dall’ordine. Nonostante avessi chiesto di restituirlo prima della consegna, visti i lunghi tempi d’attesa, non è stato possibile farlo. L’operatore mi aveva scritto che avrei potuto rispedirlo appena l’avrei ricevuto, ma il servizio clienti mi ha detto che ciò non è possibile (mi hanno espressamente scritto che la restituzione è complessa e che mi veniva offerto un 5% (cinque!!!) di reso se avessi deciso di tenere l’apparecchio. È una truffa. State alla larga!!
A ci parte il pessimo servizio, l’apparecchio è palesemente economico, di bassa qualità, con le scritte cinesi vicino ai tasti!

Ich war aufgrund der vielen negativen Bewertungen hier erst einmal ziemlich verunsichert. Aber nach zwei Wochen kam der bestellte Fön dann endlich an und der hinterlässt einen sehr guten Ersteindruck.
Fazit: Man muss ein wenig Geduld haben / Zeit einplanen bis der Fön ankommt. Bekommt dann aber ein gutes Gerät. Kleiner Tip zur Sendungsnachverfolgung, die nicht funktioniert. Einfach die Sendungsnummer kopieren und in diesem Trackverfolgungsportal dann nachverfolgen: ordertracker.com

OK, without doubt, this is a scam, you can buy the same hairdryer on Aliexpress for £30 and under many different brand names on Amazon. You will never get your money back, it is sold directly from China (passing off as a local supplier), and circumvents all trading standards and safety regulations.

However, some will be happy enough with your purchase and I want to warn all those people to STOP USING THIS DEVICE IMMEDIATELY, IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.

In the EU & UK it is a legal requirement (IEC/EN 60335-1, section 11) that devices like hairdryers have a thermal cut-out, so if the nozzle is even just partially blocked, the device detects the dangerous increase in internal temperature and stops.

This dryer (and under its many alternative brandnames such as "Zcvtbye", "Atopskins" etc) does not. I found this out the hard way - by it catching fire and melting during everyday use. Using the narrowest nozzle attachment seems particularly prone to thermal runaway.

You will not be surprised that the Airtecho has no interest in this at all, and certainly not in offering refunds.

How I too wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing, these people are true SCAMMERS!!! I’m so annoyed with myself.
It’s going to cost in excess of £36 returning to China, but guess I’m not guaranteed to get my money back either??

In eerste instantie geschrokken van de reviews. Na problemen met de levering stuurde ze netjes nogmaals een fohn op. Erg tevreden met de fohn. De eerste die snel droogt en waar mijn haar niet in vast komt te zitten.

I ordered this dryer after reading an online review of hair dryers which recommended it as number one (probably part of the scam). I asked for cancellation but they said they don’t allow cancellation and it has been shipped. It took more than 9 days to arrive. They asked me to receive it and that they will see. I asked my bank for a refund and raised a claim. The company got mad and offered 50% refund. They would not accept refunds and you have to pay the shipping fees for returns which cost me 30 pounds to china. They will take 15% of the original price if they accept your return.
The dryer is made in china with cheap quality and there’s Chinese words written on it. It is nothing like the advertisement on their website. The website highlights risk free returns which is misleading. There is nothing ethical or honest about this manipulative company. I am still fighting with them for the refund. Now it seems they want to pull another scam asking for a return number despite me providing them with the tracking information and receipt.

An hour later I saw the reviews on trust pilot, and asked them to cancel my order, but they refused claiming its already shipped. If this is true why it took long to arrive. I new it was a scam. I received the shipment email 4 days after they replied back to me.
Moreover the dryer arrived from China, and looks very cheap not as advertised
Even the packaging is very cheap, no labels or prints nothing.
I don't recommend this to anyone, I would even give it a zero star

Ordered a hairblower and to be fair I did not check the reviews in advance. I ordered the blue one and after the order/pay-proces i realised to check the reviews. To my shock It only had bad reviews: oh no! I tried to contact the service of AirTecho.. they responded that the order was already in proces and could not be stopped. I was very angry since there was no time or chance to overthink and cancel. Also the cost of return are for the consumer. But then I received the product and I am very happy with this product. Not worth that much money but expected far worse to ne honest! Very happy with the product but check before you buy. I think the price would be fair at 80 euros not 199.
It has 3 stages of power and 3 stages cold to warm. Very pleased with these features. Wished the powercord would be longer!

It is a scam. Not a UK company. Send a small package to Royal Mail with no address and royal mail destroys it. Bank has confirmed that it is a scam. Avoid these scammers.

Avoid this company if you’re in Australia. I thought I was purchasing from an Australia-based company as the website came up as .com.au but turns out company is China-based. Was charged a foreign fee by my bank that was not stipulated at time of purchase (as I thought I was buying in AUD outright). Tried to get foreign fee refunded by AirTecho but they kept saying it’s a bank fee so no luck there. Now hair dryer has finally arrived and the power chord isn’t suitable for Australian power points - it appears to be a UK plug. Have requested a refund as item isn’t as per advertisement. Overall, my experience dealing with this company has been very poor and to top it off, the product is useless in its current format. I wished I’d read reviews before purchasing - I would’ve steered clear of this company & spent my well-earned money and time elsewhere.

Jag ångrade mitt köp strax efter beställningen. Försökte avbeställa då, men det gick inte pga att leveransen redan var på väg. När den till slut kom skrev jag till dem om adress för returen, vilket inte besvarades, istället ville de veta vad som var fel med en och ville ha en video med beskrivning av felet.
Eftersom det inte var ett tekniskt problem så fick jag inte returnera. Ytterligare några mail senare så är det tvärstopp.Tillslut genom Klarna jag fick Adressen och jag har skickat tillbaka som kostade för mig 516kr plus tullavgift 45$.
Företaget är stationerat i Kina enl. adresser på paketet.Efter fyra månader förfarande ingen resultat. Jag ABSOLUT INTE REKOMMENDERA detta företaget

Ordered my Airtecho hairdryer on Friday 22 March; read some frightful reviews over the weekend and was angry at myself for not doing my research. Sent a message to Airtecho customer service looking for some reassurance. On Monday 25 March Airtecho got back to me. They couldn’t have been any more efficient and informative. They gave me my tracking number and put my mind at ease that my order was on its way from the U.K. and through Royal Mail. It arrived on Tuesday 26 March - just 4 days after placing my order.

I tried it out immediately and I’m delighted with the results. The design and quality of the dryer is as good as any other make around.
I’m so pleased that I didn’t come across these awful reviews until after I’d made my purchase.

nach monatelangem Schriftverkehr mit dem chinesischen Bot habe ich immernoch eine Adresse , wo ich den kaputten Föhn hinschicken könnte.
In den Mails waren mehrere Videos enthalten, die den Defekt aufgezeigt haben. Trotzdem wiederholt sich die KI ständig, bietet 15% Rabatt an oder einen neuen Föhn.
Klarna als Finanzdienstleister sieht auf der Seite seriös aus, hilft einem aber absolut nicht. Außer Säumniszuschlägen passiert dort nichts.

Ich werde aus Frust jetzt einen defekten China Föhn bezahlen, von dem ich bei der Bestellung nicht einmal wusste dass er aus China kommt.
Theater seit dem 7.12 , da war die Bestellung ein paar Stunden nach Auslösen "schon auf dem Weg" und konnte nicht storniert werden.
Ich fühle mich verarscht und habe nun keine Muße mehr, damit auseinander zu setzen.
Ich werde mir jetzt alle Seiten zwei mal anschauen, auch wenn Klarna dort aufgeführt ist, da wo es geht werde ich auf auf Klarna verzichten. Chinesische Anbieter waren und sind für mich ein Tabu.

just received the hairdryer, the shipping and tracking info didn't work, to be honest there was no indicated shipping time. Yes it comes from China so expect up to 2 weeks.
My experience so far, its a brilliant product, noise level is very quiet and a fraction of the price of the over priced market leaders.

Got mine today and just used for the first time. It's brilliant. Best I've ever used. People talked about the buttons labelled in Chinese as well as English. That is just a protective sheet and comes off. I was really terrified I'd wasted my money, but I'm really happy with it. Can't talk about longevity of it obviously, but it seems fine to me. My hair is shinier than normal due to no flyaway.
