Nicolò Bolla is probably the best accountant in Italy, especially, in my case, for expats. I can tell this because I had many accountants before with poor service and misinformation.

I'm a resident in Italy and work as a free lancer and have my own Partita IVA (VAT number). My previous accountants, mostly with poor English, never informed me well enough about my rights for a free National Health Insurance. Every year I had to pay for my Health Insurance in Italy based on my annual income.
Nicolò informed me the first day, that I had the right for a free Health Insurance, because of my Partita IVA (VAT). He arrange immediately my free Health Insurance and also organized all the paper work for a refund for all the money I paid the last 4 years for this Insurance. this money was refunded to me within 3 months. Now refund in Italy is a miracle!

Finding a right specialist (doctor, lawyer, CPA, etc.) in Italy, like in any new country, is a great challenge, especially for expats with minimum, if any, language proficiency.
