5KPlayer Arvostelua 

I used to enjoy 5KPlayer until I was continuously bombarded by advertisements that kept popping up in the corner of my desktop.

I contacted the company to ask that they stop intruding with their advertisements or provide me with a means to disable this ridiculous feature.

Their response was arrogant, rude, and condescending.

I would NOT recommend installing 5KPlayer to anyone, and to find a more respectable and reputable software.

I am not sure what's happening but Airplay does not show at all (including the system settings menu, with an exception of in the library, where you can seemingly access airplayed recordings if any) in the app. Is this intended? I am using M2 MacbookAir with Tahoe 26.1

Since several months 5KPlayer does not DOWNLOAD anything anymore. Nothing. No YouTube, also NOT private movies, not anything.
Worst matter: After sending mail to their own suggested service, I don't get any answer!
So: is 5KPlayer going to stop and disappear? Be honest and state that on your website.
It was for me the best player AND downloader, now I can use it for playing, but need service. Normal service!

Horrible horrible company. Doesn't work with m2ts files, then won't let you uninstall, blocks what you are trying to do to get rid of them, then won't provide a place to leave a review (because they know they suck) except on this site. Dont make the mistake because theyre likely tracking every move you make and selling all of your information.

Scaricata oggi pomeriggio nel notebook perché vlc non funzionava, non mi permetteva di leggere i dischi blu-ray, di conseguenza ho cercato altre cose ed ho trovato questa applicazione, visto che anche questa applicazione non funzionava ho tentato di disinstallarla ma è stato praticamente impossibile, evidentemente all'interno nella directory di questo Programma c'è qualcosa che impedisce la disinstallazione.

Bien! mais je l'utilise uniquement pour la musique: connection à ma chaine audio tout de suite trouvée avec DLNA. Attention en lecture audio ne pas appuyer sur le bouton Volume max, ça fait crashé la chaîne! Peux-être un point à améliorer... Sinon la fonctionnalité à Youtube est très pratique!

The program absolutely SUCKS. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PIECE OF CRAP.

Ne marche pas, utilise de la bande passante et des ressources en permanence, impossible à desinstaller, FUIRE ARNAQUE

i find 5kplayer plays hev 1080p video well on my toshiba satelite l755 23k mz with radeon 6480 gpu laptop. Its pretty smooth and audio does not drop out every 10 seconds like on other players such as MPC-hc or MPC-be, vlc ,Allplayer etc..

compliqué à installer, quasi impossible à faire marcher, annonce une chose puis ne cesse de vous demander des infos, des accès, des autorisations pour juste faire tout ce que ça veut sur votre ordi, donc pas de transparence, pas de clarté sur quoi fait quoi et si c'est pour que votre PC marche sur apple TV, 5h plus tard, ils savent tout sur vous votre ordi and co, mais votre écran n'est toujours pas sur la TV. Pas de manuel pas de clarté, tellement compliquè! il y a mieux et plus simple en gratuit.

They will spam you with adverts for products you don't want or need, if you run their software.

Don't install spam-ware.

Negative reviews or who saying its virus, do not believe these.

Personally used years already, no any virus. Using built in windows security which is more than enough and everything is fine. Do not guys use some thirdparty which gives wrong results.

But yeah this is best video player app what you can install on window also if you have iOS this have also AirPlay support.

Only 4 stars because sometime i see ads and can't remove these, but that happens very rarely.

Warning! This is a sort or Virus or Malware once installed it started scanning the network and tried to access my NAS server!

Do not download this chinese software, you have been told!

I downloaded this and it showed pics of other software as it said it installed. My system is Windows 10 home 64 bit but I simply cannot find this program on my machine. Where did it go? There is nothing to use and nothing to uninstall. Once my Avast One grabbed the installer and I made it give the installer back. Downloaded a second time from another location to find the same results. 5K Player is not showing up on my computer.

I couldn't uninstall it from my Mac (Monterey 12.6.1) - message was "App is open - can't uninstall" - but Force Quit did not show it as open.
I dragged and dropped the App from Applications to trash, which took out 166.9MB - but it still showed as the default player for opening video (mp4 file in this case) - and was still in Applications. So I dragged and dropped from Applications a second time - another 784 bytes got removed. Now it's out of Applications and no longer an option in "Open with" for the mp4 file, and Quicktime has been restored in "open with" as the default player. I think this thing is malicious.

It was so grainy and I downloaded it prior to reading reviews and it is super sketch. Could not uninstall after having a panic attack from reviews and this is the most helpful on how to uninstall:
“…when you get the notification after pressing uninstall on 5kplayer saying that it is open so you cannot uninstall it, press the up arrow on the bottom right of your screen, it should pop up with a bunch of icons. find the icon of 5kplayer and right click and Press quit. Then go back to 5kplayer then press uninstall on the software again. It should uninstall itself.”
Worked and I feel better just use good old hdmi cords!

I downloaded this product, and just like everyone else its a piece of crap that does not do what it claims and that cannot be uninstalled easily. For everyone using a windows 10 computer, when you get the notification after pressing uninstall on 5kplayer saying that it is open so you cannot uninstall it, press the up arrow on the bottom right of your screen, it should pop up with a bunch of icons. find the icon of 5kplayer and right click and Press quit. Then go back to 5kplayer then press uninstall on the software again. It should uninstall itself.

Diese App ist Super, mann kann Bildschirmübertragung machen und so weiter videos runterladen. bei der Bildschirmübertragung könnt ihr machen das mann auch das darüber steuern kann also über pc also handy oder tablet

This is piece of Sh**t. I downloaded it but did not play and now my system is too slow. When I am trying to uninstall it, it says 5kplayer is is running plz exit and try again. even though its not running and I have restarted my laptop several time. Don't install it its a virus.
