Long delivery time and poor customer experience
Got hooked on the cheaper price but takes way too long to deliver to Ireland, c2 weeks at best. Followed up with customer service and all they could say that order had been dispatched, sit tight and wait. Lesson learned to stay well away

Used Zooplus for around 5 years. They used to use DPD so generally good delivery times. I have 9 rescue cats so I really need the delivery to come within a week like it used to. I’ve emailed using their customer support form and they’re always too busy to respond. 3 times now over past 2 years. The prices are competitive but I have to spend extra on emergency food when the delivery’s are taking 2 weeks or unknown timescales- doesn’t match their 3-6 days for sure. I also had to pay €9.98 for the privilege of delivery as it was a bulk order of €370. I’ve so far had less than half the order in 2 weeks. It’s become shambolic since they changed delivery partners. The local man in his van (subcontracted) is lovely but not much he can do when goods take so long to arrive in the country.

Avoid at ALL COSTS
Avoid at ALL COSTS. I was a loyal customer for 5 years, they lost a huge package of cat food and other things to the tune of 320 euro, food I ordered in bulk because I was having an operation, then I had to chase and chase for more than a month, asked for a replacement and abruptly got a refund… AND they tried to sell me on the convenience of setting up automatic orders in the SAME EMAIL as saying they wouldn’t give me replacements and had totally taken too long to review!

Good service
I've been using zooplus for a good few months now as I found it difficult to get hold of the food I was looking for for my 12yr old dog in the shops.
Orders always correct and arrive promptly and well packaged. Will continue to use zooplus. Thankyou
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. I have a large order every 4 weeks on repeat for 9 cats. The order either gets lost, arrives damaged or is so late I have to go elsewhere to get more feed/litter. The latest saga the order appears to have gone missing again, I have cancelled my repeat order and will shop elsewhere. Avoid like the plague.

Have used Zooplus for several months now and their products are very high standard. in the period of time i have been using them i encountered one issue of a damaged product ( most probably through poor shipping handling) the issue was resolved in less than 12 hours with replacement shipped straight away. Friendly helpful staff the whole way
Severe Delivery Delays - Poor customer service
Severe delays in trying to get my order delivered. Eventually ZooPlus requested to have the parcel returned to themselves, without trying to get the parcel delivered to me. Very poor customer service. No replacement order shipped. Will not be using them again.

An excellent purchase. Accurate product information. These are true statements. European product.
I bought a carrier for my dog for air travel, as well as the matching 4 wheels to attach to the carrier. Truly excellent products of European quality. Robust, spacious plastic, matches the description with carrying handles like a carry-on suitcase. Very comfortable for the dog and very well-equipped. It has a food/water bowl that can be attached to the door. My dog went inside and loved it (so I will be reassured given the 12-hour journey during which my dog will be calm in the cargo hold). I also bought the 4 matching wheels, which are easy to assemble, to provide even more comfort for the dog and for me when transporting it. The customer service is super friendly, responds quickly and is solution-oriented with precise information, no deception or lack of truthful information in the descriptions. The delivery was very fast, in time for my trip. The customer service reassured me that if the delivery had not arrived before my trip, they would have accommodated me regarding the refund procedure. I am extremely satisfied. If all sellers were like this, the world would be a better place.

Used to be very happy with Zooplus. But the delivery service is now a nightmare.
They used to use DPD and I had no issues with them. They let you know the day before that they will be delivering the following day and they give you an hour window for delivery. Which was great.
With GLS they don't let you know until the morning of delivery that it will be delivered on that day so if you have plans for that day you have to change them. It could be 5 o clock in the evening before they arrive which means sitting around all day waiting.
Plus delivery takes so long.
It's a pity as I have 3 dogs and now that I have discovered the Rocco dog food they absolutely love it but delivery takes so long it's just a nightmare.
I might have to try and get the Rocco dog food somewhere else if they continue to use GLS it just takes way too long and getting an e mail on the day of delivery is not enough notice.

What was once a fantastic service has gone rapidly down hill. The main issue for me is their delivery service. They used to use DPD and I had little to no issues with them but since they started using GLS it’s a complete nightmare. Parcels arriving broken and in some cases not at all. I have had a repeat subscription with them for years but I’ve had enough. Yet another parcel from GLS saying it’s been delivered when it hasn’t. Steer clear.

Edit! UPDATE. after contacting both zooplus and GLS ( Brown is the name on delivery) and being told the parcel was lost,and there was no trace anywhere, and then me saying i was contacting the Gardai and trading standards...my parcel appeared on my front step..i contacted zooplus to tell them and to cancel the refund. And was given voucher.I have decided though, thst all the time GLS are their delivery company, I wont be ordering again..i used zooplus for years, as it does a good deal on Royal Canin for my cats. However, since they have used GLS for delivery, it has gone seriously downhill. Once again today, no delivery, but tracking saying delivered. We now have 140e of catfood lost. I have already been in touch with their " customer service" , but you just get the same " sorry about that, next! " type response. If they really cared about their customer service, they would listen to the many reviews that tell them how bad their choice of courier service is, and change it. Or at least allow the customer to select the courier service they prefer ( a reliable one!! ) . However GLS have the monopoly on it, so don't need to provide their non existent, shoddy service anyway. Zooplus are loyal to the very company damaging their business. Strange!

Appalling service
Items always take absolutely ages and then arrive damaged or missing. I've just received an order with the box smashed and part of contents missing. Total waste of time and mone.
They comment here their apologies and to contact customer service again this is a total waste of time. Emailed three times...no change. They truly don't care.

Order made online not dispatched
Ordered on the 12th April. Email said it was dispatched but after waiting days for an update I called the delivery company only to find out it has not yet been sent for delivery. No accountability and very poor customer care/follow up. Reading the very similar experiences here id be surprised if I ever get the order.

One week turnaround on order.
I ordered last Monday 31st March.
I got an order confirmation by email immediately after ordering.
I could not find any tracking until yesterday when GLS informed me by email that my package had arrived at their facility.
Received package today Monday 7th April.
I was always used to a four day turnaround on my orders but I can live with a week and can plan ahead.
I have read other reviews and can only vouch for my own experience with Zooplus and GLS.
One star deduction for lack of tracking.

Placed an order on 28th march, got email confirmation. Checked today, April 6th, and see my delivery has been cancelled, not by me. Am really pissed off and waiting to hear back from Customer Service

Haven’t heard back from the delivery…
Haven’t heard back from the delivery company on my pet dietary food order, and zooplus made very little effort in trying to remediate the issue. Another time my package was delivered open. I have asked zooplus to speak with someone on the phone, they gave me a phone number in Ireland via email that rang once or twice then it would hang up , they stopped replying to my emails as well, so I was left without the food and now the money?? Terrible disappointment, would not recommend 😡😡😡

I ordered 2 cat calming sprays on the 13th March, allowing for St Patricks weekend I thought the items would have arrived last Wednesday at least..They emailed today to ask how I rated them!!!..No sign of items, I tried to email THEM, and my email is INVALID, but THEY can send me an email for a review!..I am -€35 out of pocket, might as well throw money in fire...DESPICABLE.
