Zizoo Arvostelua 

We are a fleet operator in Greece and have worked with Zizoo for a number of years. However, last summer we had 2 clients from them who arrived on the port not knowing that Zizoo had not passed on their payments for the boat. In each case the client had to pay again. In the first case, the money was refunded, because the client was in tears on the quay and they must have found it down the back of the sofa. The second client is still waiting as far as I know. We have now also just had to cancel a booking from another client who has paid in full for his holiday but the money has not been passed on to us so I am not sure what he will do. It's very sad and very dishonest that they are still taking clients' money, knowing full well that they are a sinking ship.

Do not use. I paid zizoo 50% of the total for a catamaran this summer. I have now been informed by the yacht owner that they haven’t received any payment from zizoo so have cancelled my booking. I can’t get hold of zizoo and they are not replying to any form of communication. So now I have no holiday for my family or I have to pay it all again.
After much investigation It seems zizoo have been exploiting people’s trust for some while. Don’t look at one review, keep looking and you will see many many people in my situation over the last year or more. Their service pre payment was great but unfortunately since paying nearly 4000euros I haven’t had a single communication! If you’ve not paid your deposit yet then please don’t. You will lose it.

I have been looking for a saling boat the last few month and after contacting zizoo boat and pay deposit i realized that zizoo kept my money with out giving the money to the owner, i tried to contact zizoo in particular Damien who was the point of contact, so far no calls or emails has been returned, despite some good reviews i m afraid this company is a scam.
Update:
I just spoke to a lady from customer service, her name is Katia, they do get in touch with you but apparently they have been told from financial department not to say much… there has been a meeting last Friday 23 February between Zizoo and charter operators in orders to solve this problem, on the 10th of march , Zizoo will let us know about the recovery plan…. This was told me by the Zizoo agent.
If you were involved in the same situation with zizoo and you have a case with Zizoo please leave a review with all the steps to follow to start a lawsuit.

I had a chat with an other agent, her name is Elena who seemed very friendly and willing to help me out with my situation.
She offered to contact the charter operator and also to convince the charter to keep the boat reservation and update me with a feedback the same day, yesterday. She also gave me her numbers and her email which is exactly the same email of Damien, i have tried to get in contact with her but she is not answering my calls. What am I supposed to do now?

I see a pattern - good reviews in the winter when bookings are typically taken and shocking reviews in the summer when charter companies are not paid.

Take a look at Glassdoor to see what staff say before you book. It doesn’t look good.

My experience as a customer was woeful and to this day I have not had a single person with authority take the time to speak with me.

To retain my boat I had to pay again because the Charter company had not been paid, despite Zizoo holding my money for 6 months.

Zizoo have kept all the money and do not answer any emails or correspondence.
STAY WELL CLEAR !!!

Zizoo asked for a very large deposit payment straight into their bank account this month to secure our reservation. There was no option for a credit card payment or PayPal. We have now received an email from the boat provider to say the boat reservation has been cancelled as they have not been paid by Zizoo. No money has been returned to us. We have since found lots of reviews with a similar story and no money has been refunded to them.

Prenotato e pagato a ottobre 2023. Dopo 15 giorni mi contattano dicendomi che l'imbarcazione non è più disponibile e che la prenotazione non può essere effettuata. Dopo migliaia di mail e telefonate alle quali non rispondono siamo arrivati al 31 gennaio e della restituzione dei soldi nemmenno un accenno. Veramente pessimi.

AVOID at all costs! We booked and paid a large deposit for a boat in Nov/Dec 2022 for a trip in Sep 2023 and a few days before we left for our trip we were told that our boat had been cancelled. Despite numerous follow-ups we have not been provided with a refund and they have been very difficult to deal with. Absolutely awful experience. I would not risk ever booking with them again.

Don't use this company they are fraudulent. Zizoo take your money and do not pass it onto the yacht owner so when you arrive to board your yacht you have to pay out again directly to the yacht owner. Despite saying we will get a refund of almost 1600 euros since September 2023 we have not received it. We were told yesterday there is no date scheduled for the refund. The CEO is under investigation by the German prosecutor. We are not the only ones that this has happened to.

Estafado por esta empresa, alquilé un barco para 4 días con mucha antelación todo pagado por adelantado, el primer día me pongo en contacto con el chárter y me dice que no tiene ninguna reserva que el barco que yo creía que había alquilado finalmente el dueño no puso en alquiler, imaginaros yo y mi familia de camino al puerto con el coche cargado y otros amigo que venían a pasar el día nos quedamos en tierra y no pudimos navegar, de los cuatro días que había pagado solo me pudieron ofrecer dos, me dijeron que me devolverían el dinero y a día de hoy despues de 5 meses no me han devuelto nada.
