Attenzione Borrow a boat è la nuova ragione sociale di Zizoo, società che ha truffato decine di persone trattenendo i soldi versati senza pagare i charter!

At first, the boat I tried to book (and paid for) turned out not to be available. I got contacted by an agent with several new offers. An annoyance is that I had to pay for the second boat, while the payment for the first is still pending (I trust it will be reverted in a few days). The agent with whom I communicated, Zaxaroula, was remarkably helpful and responsive; her attitude was exemplary.

I had a very positive experience with Zaxaroula Mmattia when booking a catamaran for our family trip in September of this year. She was very responsive, quick in updating the offer and adjusted the payment terms as needed. We have yet to take the boat itself, but so far would certainly work with Zaxaroula again for any future trips.

Elle ne paye pas les sociétés charter et lorsque nous sommes arrivés sur Corfou, le bateau n’était pas réglé, ni réservé. Nous avons tout perdu résultat -8000€

Ne pas réserver avec cette agence Zizoo ou maintenant "Borrow a boat" !!!!
Réservation pour un bateau 3 chambres sans skipper 4 mois avant notre départ pour la Croatie Zadar. Tout ok, acompte de plus de 1000€ payé.
Un mois avant le départ, nous avons reçu un email de Zizoo comme quoi le bateau que nous avions réservé plusieurs mois avant n'est plus disponible, c'est donc une "annulation"" de la part de Zizoo ... pas d'alternative proposée, pas de remboursement de notre acompte versé. Malgré avocat autrichien et décision de justice en Autriche (car Zizoo était en Autriche en 2023), Zizoo a été déclaré en faillite en Autriche.... et donc insolvable... maintenant ils sont en Allemagne....
Passez votre chemin !!!!

Zizoo hat als Vermittler bewusst und vorsätzlich die vereinnahmten Kundengelder nicht an das Charterunternehmen weitergeleitet. Das erfüllt den Straftatbestand der Veruntreuung und Unterschlagung. Wir werden juristisch gegen diese kriminelle Praktiken vorgehen.
Jeden anderen Interessenten kann man nur vor Geschäften mit Zizoo warnen!

Poor quality boat with several non-functional systems.
Very poor communication. no refund possible. we are on the verge of theft. a tracker (AirTag) found in the boat.

Zizoo est parti avec la caisse et ne m’a jamais remboursé et borrowaboat me propose des voucher sur 2 ans correspondant à 25% de la somme

nous avons hérité au final d’un bateau qui n’était même pas la réservation initiale (bateau de 2015 au lieu d’une mise à l’eau en 2023) île est vétuste, etc

Je suis en train de prendre attache auprès d’un avocat international pour récupérer les sommes dues.
si jamais cela vous intéresse et que vous trouvez utile la démarche, je créerai une adresse mail étant donné que nous sommes un certains nombre de victime, cela peut peser devant le tribunal.

Don't book with this company until they pay back all the money that was stolen off charters.

They are the new owners of Zizooboats.com but refuse to reimburse guests for the money that was stolen from them, money that was used to fund the company instead of booking our boat.

They are trying to fob us off with discounts on another booking, when we are owed thousands of dollars. They are now responsible for those dedts no matter what they say!!

Borrowaboat.com are not to be trusted, don't be fooled like we were.

Borrow a boat went into administration in 2023 and people lost millions of euros.

They have since taken over Zizoo, which also cost people millions of euros when they didn't pay charter companies the money that the clients had paid them. Search trustpilot for zizoo.com, it's a horror show.

Avoid, it's just not worth it.

Zizoo has gone into liquidation. My deposit has been lost as a result. Beware that they have reamerged under Borrowaboat. Be careful, they are sneaky, they invite you to rebook your boat and pay again.

Dont touch Zizoo! We booked a boat in the Seychelles, paid the deposit in December 2023 and were then told they are bankrupt. The deposit has gone missing with no boat booked. We have been trying to get the deposit back but it is looking very unlikely.

I can't advise anyone to book with this company. I have been waiting for a deposit return for a number of months now with absolutely no response from either Borrowaboat, Zizoo or the Administrator. When Borrowaboat purchased Zizoo, they took on the debt as well as the assets. It is not satisfactory to just state this is nothing to do with them. I have had flawless interactions with other charter companies so it's all very possible. Something is very wrong with Borrowaboat, Zizoo and how they operate. I suspect it is the same team under the covers.
Updating this review, what is disappointing is that after all the email correspondence sent to borrowaboat, and all the phone calls that I've made without a connection or a return call, the only response I've had is to this public review, and that was within minutes! Subject to borrowaboats understanding of my situation and others who have reviewed here, and as a gesture of goodwill, the offer of attractive discounts to assist affected customers, I have emailed and called as per their instructions and have still had no response to my emails or phone calls. You can all make your own mind up whether you wish to do business with these folks or not.

Do not book with this Company. Its still Zizzoboat with a new name. Still the same people, same website ,same login. They have just removed yoyr old trips if you booked whit them before.

Alquilamos un barco con Zizoo en Ibiza. Pagamos la totalidad a esta agencia por adelantado. Al llegar a la náutica no quisieron entregarnos la embarcación. Zizoo no había pagado a la náutica. De forma que al contactar con Zizoo nos comentaron que tenían problemas de liquidez y no habían podido realizar la transferencia a la náutica. Zizoo nos comentó que la única forma qué teníamos para conseguir el barco que ya habíamos pagado era volviendo a pagarlo pero esta vez directamente a la náutica. Zizoo se comprometía a realizarnos una transferencia con el importe extra que debíamos realizar a la náutica pasadas 2 semanas tras el alquiler del barco. When we contacted Zizoo, they told us they were experiencing liquidity problems and hadn’t been able to make the transfer to the marina. Zizoo told us that the only way for us to get the boat we had already paid for was to pay again, but this time directly to the marina. This company are scammers and owe me money and are refusing to pay.I booked a trip with them in Greece last year and they didn't pay for the yacht.

Now they are refusing to return my money. Buyers be ware!!
