We decided to swap our voucher for just eat so we could pay for takeaway with the family while they were over. We requested the voucher around 5.30pm and the voucher code did not come through until midnight. We ended up having to pay separately for the takeaway. Emailed you choose and they have said there is nothing they can do.

While our Terms & Conditions advise that gift card codes can take up to 48 hours to be delivered during busy periods, we have reviewed your order and can see that your Just Eat gift card code was actually sent at 5:13pm on Monday 31 August, just 2 minutes after your exchange request was placed.
If you did not see the email at the time, we would always recommend checking your spam, junk, and promotions folders, as email providers can sometimes filter automated emails away from the main inbox.
We understand how disappointing it must have been to make alternative payment arrangements when you believed the code had not arrived. However, based on our records, the gift card was fulfilled and emailed successfully shortly after your request was made.

I have ordered three gift cards and so far I have only received one. These gift cards seem overly complicated for what they are especially when you don't get what you purchase within a few hours. You have to plan where you want to spend them a few days minimum prior to actually going shopping.

Becoming Unusable Due To Poor Staff Decisions
UPDATE: Their response below is complete and utter garbage. There is nothing wrong with that extremely famous email provider. Moreover, if they are supposedly worried about fraud, why do they happily take your money? All they do is attempt to withold your purchases, which is unlawful. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
I've been buying You Choose gift cards for 4 years, having my account (which is a requirement) for that period with the same details throughout, including my email address. I recently found that the gift cards were not being sent to me and I'd have to use their Help section to chase them up. Today they told me that my email address is "disposable" and I have to change it or else.
A "disposable" email address that I've been using with them successfully for 4 years?! What utter rot.
Official organisations don't have any issue with my email address, which is from an extremely well-established provider for email, cloud storage, etc., but apparently You Choose have now decided they do.
Am I supposed to create an email address from some other random provider just to use with You Choose??? That is totally unreasonable and not going to happen.
Clearly some busybody at their company had no useful input to make, so decided to add this nonsensical hurdle for their customers. Especially idiotic given the complaints they already get for how cumbersome the process of using their gift cards is.
It's such an utterly absurd attempt to justify not fulfilling orders. I was not told there was an issue with my email address by the retailer that sold me the You Choose gift card, so I will not accept being denied what I paid for because You Choose have suddenly decided they dislike the style of my details.

Game didn’t arrive - appalling customer service.
Game didn’t arrive. It should be listed it will take more than 48 hours before people waste their money buying this gift card. Scam.
Edit-
They responded to say I received the game code, this was several hours after I had purchased it - which led to me purchasing it elsewhere after receiving a message from them AFTER saying it would take 48 hours and I needed the game for a stream.
I was then denied a refund request via email 3 days later when their support got back to me over 72 hours later after having to talk to a bot on both occasions which did not work when contacting them.
I would never repurchase this and would recommend people gift people a steam/xbox/ps gift card instead.
Shocking customer service, and entire operation for a giftcard is insane. They can also get away with not giving refunds under trading rights as everything is digital despite there being no disclaimer over ridiculous wait times and lack of customer service to confirm how long an order will actually take. There’s no reason to have a 48 hour estimate on a digital game code - the place I ended up purchasing it from for 30% less was instant.
Also “ We'd also like to reassure readers that YouChoose is a legitimate gift card service trusted by thousands of customers across the UK, and we take any concerns regarding delivery very seriously.” doesn’t reassure people when they go to review and see you already have below 3 stars.

A totally confusing way to give anyone a gift card, if someone gives you one for your birthday, you’re not going to start reading the back of it, you’re going to take it to one of the retailers that’s on the front, just like I did, when I went to the till with my item, I was told you have to register before you can use it, it’s a gift for heaven sake , why would you put someone through that to give them a gift for their birthday! I Will make sure I never give one to anyone!

Trying to get to the voucher was like trying to pass an exam to fly a plane. Far too many clicks and checks required. Gift choices a little obscure, could rule out 95% of choices. Of the ones left it was more of a which one easiest to use.

Too fiddly
Too fiddly. The captcha is a pain. How am I suppose to click on an animal jumping up and down when it's moving fast? Also, why not just have one card that works in all stores rather than having to use your card to buy another card? In other words using a voucher to buy a voucher, which doesn't make sense. I'm not sure how elderly people cope with this nonsense.
