Excellent and efficient communication and flexibility of care so far!

I've only joined this company recently so have called with an initial inquiry & Leah was very helpful & friendly. And answered my questions fully.
So far with my experience I'd recommend this company, it was quick to speak to someone & it was all very professional.

Excellent service from Ashleigh. She handled the call in both a professional and personal manner with no issues experienced and a rapid conclusion drawn.

Rachel was professional, empathetic and patient. She was dealing with me, a rather grumpy (in severe pain) customer, and she did it so kindly, I calmed down and we achieved a lot together. She also committed to working in the background on my case and sure enough, the following morning called me promptly with a really positive update. I couldn’t recommend and thank Rachel enough ! A real asset to WPA !?! Thank you 🤩

The page to look for a doctor wasn’t working so i had sent a message and Becky booked it for me, was really helpful actually

I’ve been with WPA for many years and have always been pleased with the service.
Sadly my most recent experience has been dreadful.
I’m on the NHS waiting list for a hysteroscopy and biopsy. The NHS initially put me on the cancer pathway and then took me off. This means a ridiculous wait time. I decided to use my WPA insurance and was cleared to consult a private gynaecologist. I was cleared for the consultation and any tests required.
The consultant informed me that I needed to be treated asap and booked me in for the procedure on Friday 10th July (3 days from now). WPA have today asked me to obtain a letter from my GP with further information. It will be impossible to get an appointment with my NHS GP within this time frame let alone get a letter.
I even went on my NHS app and forwarded WPA my NHS ultrasound and GP NHS referral for the hysteroscopy. This contains all of the information about my condition, symptoms and reason for referral. WPA are still insisting on a GP letter that will be impossible to get in time! I believe that this is a scam to avoid paying. I am left in the horrible dilemma of either cancelling my op on Friday or self funding on my credit card. This is really not a good way to treat a customer 😞

Always easy to deal with. Their staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable. We have been with WPA continuously for over 50 years.

Just spoke with Sophie in regards to my upcoming surgery today and as always with all the operators ive had the pleasure of dealing with, I found her to be very informative and caring. I feel so lucky and privileged to have my cover with such a great medical aid provider. Keep up the good work guys!

My query was solved efficiently. I also had an unusual query which required decision by a senior staff. This was also handled efficiently with a timely callback as promised. Well done.

One downside. When a call is answered, you have to go through many security questions.Medical privacy is not the sane as money laundering. Cut them to a couple and no more.

Furthermore, if the call is transferred to another department, the security questions start all over again. There must be a way for that department to differentiate an internal verified call against an external unverified call. Your clients are not exactly fit, young and highly literate people. They may have a worry about their health. You are totally out of order to put them through a process which challenges their communication skills at the worse time, anxious if they will be told they have some serious condition. It does not need a rocket science to solve this issue.

The ability to phone through and speak to a person who was able to help organise treatment in a very efficient manner. Very friendly and helpful

Every time I use WPA the refund goes through easily and without any fuss. If I do submit an incorrect invoice or receipt they quickly contact me to let me know the issue so I can rectify it. I use WPA via work and have my spouse as an add on. I consider it be better great value for money.

An excellent customer experience provided by Ashleigh Stubbs from the help desk team. She was able to answer all my questions, provide clarity on situation that had caused me some confusion, and then took the time to call me back once my claim was accepted so I could get on and book my appointment.
