Wolseley UK Arvostelua 

I went to wolseley Tiverton yesterday13/12/23 to get some advice and help with some attachments to a flow meter. The store was busy and when it came to my turn and I asked for help I was made to feel like a total idiot. I was humiliated and told I was in the wrong shop that I needed a car shop. ( for a water flow meter) the way I was spoken to was disgusting, the lad should have asked for help and clearly need 1 more training in customer service and 2 plumbing parts. I would go as far to say that had I been male I would not have been patronised in such away. I will be doing an official complaint as no one should be made to feel uncomfortable when purchasing goods. To say I’m angry about the situation is putting it lightly !!

I asked online if the coat I wanted was made in the UK and was told it was. The coat arrived with a Made in China label. Another brand trading on heritage that isn’t a British brand any longer.

Terrible customer support experience
I have been trying to get in touch on the 03442927060 line as I am experiencing issues with the center 7 day programmable thermostat. I was on hold for 2 hours. 2 entire hours. I eventually gave up trying to ring and rang +44 344 891 0196. One of your employees answered within 2 minutes and told me if I have a problem with the thermostat to ring 03442927060.

Nobody should have to be on hold for more than 2 hours to speak with somebody. Obviously someone is not doing their job properly!

These guys have gone above and beyond in the customer service they delivered to me.
They worked with me and made my experience positive in difficult circumstances.

Expensive and lazy to stock what a basic few parts.

I have been going in numerous times over the past 1 year to the Barnstaple branch. I have to say my experience here has been great every time. Both Emma and Mike have been helpful, approachable and professional every time I come in for my parts. Even at 4:55pm when they it’s about to close they still provide the service I need.
I wish more sales staff members in that building have the same support as Emma and Mike provide.

Been using these guys more and more recently (initially just due to where most of our work was), and although I’ve never had any major issues with you guys, I feel this is now my go-to branch (Kingsteignton)…I would personally argue these guys offer a faultless service and even if mistakes are made (which we all do from time to time, nobody’s perfect) I feel they always do what they can to quickly rectify any issues - even if it’s the fault of another branch/department - which I feel in this line of work can really make or break your day’s work! Really do appreciate everything Matt, Karl and Jack do - couldn’t do my job without them!

Luke (Acoll heating and plumbing)

ordered flue bracket kit ref.175617 which shows 3 brackets and fittings in the online image. Considered this an excellent deal.
Went to pick brackets up, only one bracket and fittings in package. Cancelled order and got refund.
Contacted Wolseley by email to complain.
Response will change image to show only one bracket and fittings. Totally unhappy at misleading advert. Will not use again.

I use Wolseley plumb centre derby off ascot drive, I use this supplier frequently and have always had great service with Alan and his crew, helpful, knowledgeable, happy to help whatever the problem is.
I highly recommend this supplier.

It was a joy to visit Wolseley Barking today the counter staff was happy in their duties.
The staff member that (Nilton) was tremendously helpful taking time and patience to steer me in the right direction the the choice of product selection for my requirements.
I’m extremely happy with the service as I left the store with a smile on my face knowing due to the assistance Iwas going to have a stress free day, for that alone THANK YOU!!!!

I cannot return the radiator because it is unpacked. how else to check the product without unpacking it???

I did a previous review, very long winded re bath panels. Wolseley did reply twice, basically asking I explain in detail which took me ages. They've not replied & I've chased them.
I had hoped they were finally dealing & could readjust my experience. They apparently had escalated but dispite me sending a reminder they have not picked up.
I've nothing more to sadly add to improve my experience.

This was a very straightforward transaction - ordered on Wednesday, delivered on Friday. The driver waited until my builder turned uo which was some 20. ins and was very obliging. Could not fault it!

BE CAREFUL WHEN LEAVING VOICE MAILS ON THEIR LINE - THIS WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU. Wolsley distributes messages that are left on their voicemails without your consent, by doing this I'm sure Wolsey is aware that they are in breach of multiple confidential laws which state that you need permission to share such information. Accidentally I leave a message on their voice mail (Aston branch) and they saw fit to send it to the person that I was speaking about causing no end of issues, firstly there is a reason why the police for example would never share information in this way. utterly appalled. I made a complaint last week and up till today, I have received no response or apology. Wosley has numerous pages on confidentiality and codes of conduct which they clearly do NOT follow. I am disgusted that I would be treated in this way and not protected at all, in fact, I was placed in potential danger because Wolsey do not have the common sense to realise that by distributing data in that way 1, they have breached multiple confidential laws and 2 they potentially put me in harm's way - I have zero confidence in Wolsey as a company as what they did was highly unethical.

I need someone to contact me urgently

Further to this I note reply - if you are investigating something would it not be proper to let the complainant know that that is what you are doing, instead I have made numerous calls to find out what is going on in this very disturbing situation. Some things are just not ok, it is not ok to redistribute accidental mail left in that way at all, there was no reason for your member of staff to share that mail at all. I have sent an email to the manager of the Wolseley branch that’s bounced back, I wand a time scale for your so called investigation and would like to know what the outcome is - I can assure you that this will not be left, rules are for everyone and unfortunately on this occasion there were breaches where your staff shared information that they should not have. This does not build confidence and the problems that it’s caused you would not believe.

Telephone staff could do with some customer care training and soft skills! Requested table for 3 be made for 4 and had a rather curt response to say it will be crammed no offer even to accommodate or be moved to a suitable sized table if one come ups nothing - she couldn't care less. Used to frequent this place, shame the staff are not the same calibre as they were.

Just completed our ensuite bathroom & would like to say that with the help of Peter & Mark at your Ayr branch this made it so much easier ! Both were very helpful in helping us select our products & to also add great value for money with excellent products throughout

Went in to their Saltney Chester branch with my elderly husband today, at about 1pm, we were served by a patient helpful gentleman who advised us on a sink replacement u bend for one that had been in place for about 30 years. Thank you for such good advice, after shortening a piece of pipe I managed to fit the new u bend in about 10 mins. Great service.

In store the gentlemen have always been exceptionally helpful. Staff in showroom are also very courteous and helpful. We had a problem with a bath not measuring spec and it was replaced with ease. I had a problem with a sink and literally no job was too small to assist with. Parents regularly order for work and have used for many years. Will continue to recommend. Good people.
