Have experienced issues in every single trade with them. Unreliable service in general. Will not only mess up your project schedule but also get insulted when you claim things are missing.

Ordered a total of £6500 worth of parts from them.
Will avoid new trades with them.
Very much worried now if there is any quality issue of things I've already purchased and installed.

I dealt with the Eastleigh store and James who served me was fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble and he really put himself out to make sure I had the right unit for part of a toilet system which needed extra research. Can’t recommend James enough.

I visited the Leatherhead, branch on 29th May 2024.

This review is purely related to the quality of service provided.

The level of helpfulness provided by Finley and his colleague was nothing short of excellent.

Both were so proactive - thank you.

Absolutely shocking service.
I have tried a dozen times to get a simple price out of these people and just keep getting told somebody would get back to me which never happens.

Awful customer service. Seems impossible to send an item back.

Have been struggling to find a certain guttering size and without being ripped off,Ash from the Yate branch went above and beyond and sourced for me at a reasonable price,well done Ash you have created a new customer,

After taking advice over three emails, ordered the tap cartridge suggested plus a spare, paid a hefty delivery charge,they are the wrong cartridge. No problem I thought large responsible company sent email with pictures to sort the correct units no response other than being cc'd on an email to the local branch sent chase email still no answer will keep trying not great customer service to date
Well folks it gets worse, had no solution offered received a email suggesting I should visit the supplying branch. Replied promptly with yet again photos!
Two points I paid for delivery as it's difficult for me to go to local branch and if I make the journey I need to know they can supply the correct part so I can exchange. If not I need a full refund parts and carriage. The big question is why do they not reply to emails.
All I require is a solution to a dripping tap that they sold and my attempt to buy spare parts to rectify the issue
The total cost of this is less than £15

Come on let's resolve this!

Now 8th May nothing has changed despite many emails from me asking for a response, this total lack of any contact is either they don't feel they have to sort out a customers issues with their products or ignoring the issue and it will go away? Have now located a senior person on customer service and emailed the details, stay tuned I would be delighted to report positively only time will tell ! Have now received an email apology informing me the senior customer service person has left the company?

It's over! 13 May Having driven to the local Wakefield depot the chap behind the counter went the extra mile and sorted it all out in minutes even refunding the carriage and promising to try and find the correct cartridge fantastic proper customer service at last Pity the head office staff don't respond in the same way or in many cases respond at all. So upgrading slightly to two stars. Based on the local depot it really should be higher but so many emails and so long to sort it out drags it down.

I have recently been into your Sidcup Branch this morning to collect a Click and Collect Order.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find anywhere on the website where I could leave a 5* review but hopefully this review will be picked up and seen by the great staff in store.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Becks and Jayden. From receiving a call from Becks this morning who kindly checked that our parts that we had ordered were now ready for collection and upon going into the Store, Jayden was so polite and efficient, along with Becks. It’s a pleasure to do business with Wolseley, not only are they knowledgeable but also super polite and friendly and the reason we continue to use them.

On 20th of March I ordered an item which was meant to be delivered the next day. Product never arrived. After 2 weeks of waiting I decided to contact their customer service. First guy tried to convince me that the item had been delivered (clearly not to me) but for some reason they couldn't tell who signed for it (obviously not me). Second time I tried to contact them, a lady reassured me that I will get my order on 5th of April. It didn't work out, so I asked them to just give me my money back. They did, but kept the delivery fee, you know, of an item which never arrived 🙃
I guess I just have to carry on living with the fact, that wolseley robbed me of 8 quid. AVOID.

I am sure that they produce good products which is why I have given them a star. However, their customer service is non-existent. I phoned their customer service department but eventually gave up trying. I then made a customer service enquiry online. Two months later, I await a reply.
UPDATE: Thanks for your reply. I have emailed you as requested. When you say "investigate asap" what is the timescale there? The email was sent over 2 weeks ago.
UPDATE: Don't worry. I have got a local plumber to sort it out. Turns out that as I expected the shower had a faulty cartridge.

They took my money, then didn’t deliver. After several attempts at trying to contact them, I was told the order had been cancelled. Very poor service and NO communication.

I would give 0 star if I could , I shop in Highgate wolesely plumping store , I had the worst experince I ever had very rude staff ,racist attidude ,the manager looks like a thug, I bought a bath tub which went rusty and I was adviced by the manufacturer to get a replacement from this store where they could be replaced by the manufacterer free of charge ,they refused to help me ,they were horribly rude, I wont advice anyone to deal with these guys, awful.do not bother to buy anything from them.The manager should be sacked.I will log a strong complaint to the head office about these sort unprofessional employees.

My wife and I went in to buy a sink and tap from the Hereford branch. The chap gave us two options on the sink, both were stainless, which is what we wanted. One was cheap,pretty much in line with other places we had looked, but the other was much more expensive. The chap said that he would recommend the more expensive option as the cheaper one would be lighter gauge and would flex. We went for the better option and after waiting for a couple of months for the kitchen fitter to be available we had our new sink fitted. When you turn the tap on the sink visibly flexes and the feet of a plastic draining rack scratches the steel. Dont use this supplier.

Shocking, customer service! Merely tried to get my point across, and the lady on the phone said “you’re just looking for somebody to argue with “. From what I gather the company has gone paperless, and there are failures within the website, which means that I can’t access documentation, they just sent me a bill on an email with no statement or invoice to correspond with it. Not to mention that on my account page, it says that I don’t owe any money.

Waited for ever for a simple kitchen waste fitting as the sales guy had no experience. Given the two parts and said they would fit together. Well, they didn’t. Took them back for a refund to be told it was my fault for ordering the wrong parts. Customer service is absolutely terrible. Will never use again. No wonder Screwfix does so well…..

Friendly & helpful staff in my local branch but stock levels low, and now feeder deliveries 2-3 times a week compared to daily a few months back, so I’m having to shop else where as often or not customers expect materials there and then or maybe a day later

In contrast to some of the negative reviews we had two excellent experiences at Wolesley Norwich with Amie Yallop in summer and autumn 2023. We were gutting and refurbishing two small bathrooms. Our fitter, Chris Clarke, had helped us with the main design but we needed to select all the individual items, something we had never done before. Amie could not have been helpful, knowledgeable and patient as we dithering and changed our minds. All the kit arrived as ordered and on time. Excellent service !

Totally ripped off!
I ordered a replacement set of mock coals for a coal-effect gas fire, specific to fire and with part number.
They sent 2 old bags, one broken, of sooty used coals, not the right ones, not enough, and not the critical 2 "aeration tubes" Had to mix & match with my old set, themselves ways past their best. Surrprise - - now not listed by their search. Disgusted. Steer clear.

I'm a contractor and unfortunatly my company has an account, every order I place whether its for £50 or £1000, I have to Chase, Chase, Chase. They either deliver the wrong parts and I have to pay to return them or they don't respond to any communication, I ordered 2 items with the value of £750 two months ago and still waiting, I've been a electrical / plumbing contractor for the passed 30 years and its the worst supplier i've come across, god knows how they stay in business.
