This review will be the same as all others USEMYGIFT should be investigated and the owners prosecuted as they are taking money with clearly no intention of providing the service.
We received the gift of an afternoon tea for Christmas from my niece, a single mother with 3 children who struggles to make ends meet. When we try to redeem it we have to provide the receipt. Who gives the receipt with a gift? It was Christmas when we received it of course she has not kept the receipt. She has wasted money than she can ill afford. I am so angry with this company. They are taking money under false pretences/ Indeed. as others have said; USE MY GIFT IS A CON

Site not working, online chat not available, no telehone numbers to ring!!! Frustrating is not the word. Waste of money. Got two vouchers but next time we will book gift cards direct with the restuarant etc. and not through any booking firm who make it impossible to use the voucher. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY - PERIOD!

I can only describe this as an absolutely terrible experience. The website produces countless error after error when trying to redeem a voucher. Horrible experience from start to finish and it has now claimed my voucher as used when it returned an error and now I can't use it at all as it never gave me an activation number.

Waste of time and money. Activity superstore goes hand in hand with this. Shocking. I have now lost my voucher I received as a gift.

Like everyone else I was under the impression that there was an extension till June to book my gift. Why is there no longer any info about the pandemic or any kind of apology. The extension should be increased as we are still in restrictions or a full refund offered.

Bought this as a gift for my mum before the pandemic, we are in the North West so no great opportunity to book anything - tried booking early June but told voucher has now expired, absolute joke, rip off - seems like theyve made alot of money on no one able to actually use their vouchers! Avoid like the plaque! Ill never buy a voucher from here again ever!

No where to exstend the voucher even though in the email just received it states just go to usemygift. & click exstend for £20.00. Better off booking with Hotel.com. Not impressed with the service. They seem to making a lot of money from people who havent been able to use the vouchers due to lock down.

Having received this as a gift from my pensioner mother in law, due to COVID the sparse selection of restaurants have been closed so I have not been able to redeem, after the restrictions were finally lifted I attempted to book as the window was less than 2 weeks before the extended voucher expired. Restrictions lifted 17/5, voucher expired 1/6 so a small window of opportunity , unfortunately Error 404 whoops was all I was able to get from their website until finally getting through on the 2/6 to be told what I already knew that my voucher had expired, I sent a complaint and explained this to the customer services only to be offer 20% discount for me to purchase an additional voucher, I will let my mother in law know that I was not able to use the voucher and the £49 she spent on it has gone to waste. If you are happy to pay for a piece of worthless card then please make a purchase, if not, I would avoid!!

Please do not buy these gift experience vouchers as a present. I have tried to use one of mine and it appears it is invalid or has expired, even though restaurants have been closed for so long. I cannot even check to see if it's still in date. I have another to use and expect the same response, no prospect of getting anything for them.

Terrible customer experience. Was unable to use my gift throughout the pandemic, as the experience was closed. Rang up today to utilise and was told there was nothing they could do to extend the 12 month validity, despite not being able to use.

How was I meant to use the voucher when the experience was closed?

Utter rip off.
Given this as a gift. 69 pounds paid by my partner’s parents.
Unusable!
Nowhere near to where we live. Nothing that any one would want to do.
No gifts available instead of experiences.
Disgraceful!

my wife and I was bought a voucher for Christmas 2019
then covid struck, we have been trying to find somewhere since march 2021, found one hotel rang them up they not taking any bookings for vouchers till they caught up but if I wanted to pay cash they would take my booking. then we found another one we had to go through activity superstore for this one, they got back to us told us the hotel not taking any bookings. trying again on the website nothing showing at all. they extended the voucher till february 2022. not looking good

This voucher was given as a Christmas present in 2019 for a two night hotel stay with high tea.
It was going to be used in Autumn 2020 but Coronavirus took over. The voucher was extended until 1st June 2021and was going to be used in Spring 2021. Lockdown came again. The company was asked if they would extend the voucher again but I was told no but if I used it soon after the 1st June they would honour it.
After spending many hours looking for a hotel that was advertised by them in their booklet, within 2 hours driving distance that was suitable, the hotels contacted said they were not taking these vouchers until 2022.
The Activity Superstore Ltd have not been helpful and it seems that I will not be able to use this voucher.
VERY DISAPPOINTED. Will not be recommending them at all.

Just used an afternoon tea for two voucher. The cost of the voucher was £9 more than the value of the food, which in itself was pitiful. Would not recommend anyone to purchase this— check with local establishments first for better deals.

If I could give a negative start I would. I received a giftcard for a birthday present but was unable to use it straight away.Following family health problems forgot and lost my voucher. Came across the voucher recently 9 months out of date but thought if I contacted use my gift they would re validate the voucher to allow me to use it. Big Fat NO well thanks for that. DO NOT BUY THESE THINGS just give you friends and family CASH that never goes out of date!

Wasn't able to use my voucher for a while and when I did come to use it their system said it was no longer valid. Emailed them, got no reply. Do not use this company! Shocking.

As many others have found voucher bought through Argos or any 3rd party ,i.e. not direct from company can not be redeemed without a receipt or bank statement of purchaser. I was asked to send bank statement of gifter, surely unethical at very least.

Unable to activate my voucher without the purchase receipt or copy of bank statement from the person who bought me & my wife this gift! neve come across anything so ridiculace! use other similar sites which are also poor but these take the biscuit, The website is poor to navigate, a child could have done better!

Given a voucher by my brother as a Christmas present for myself and my partner. We were thrilled, as it was for an afternoon tea, which we love. Just tried to activate but whenever I went on the part for entering all my personal details, it said 'Not secure'. After reading all the negative reviews, I'm definitely not risking it. Sadly, my brother has paid out for something I'm not happy to use.
