Our voucher was extended due to the Covid issue, however when I tried to book a hotel this morning I received VM messaged asking to leave a VM. This was not responded to so I investigated only to find that the Stade Court Hotel Hythe is now used for asylum seekers, unbelievable!

I am shocked by the volume of bad reviews. Usenygift are apparently based in Saffron Walden Essex. I have gone through the locations from the list provided and found the first five I contacted as follows. 3 x venues had closed down, 2 x venues had not dealt with this voucher company for over 18 months. I asked for an updated locations list and was directed to the same list I already had. Am still trying to resolve the issues, however not feeling very hopeful. Next stop - Rip Off Britain and Trading Standards. BEWARE

Shocking service. Couldn't book anywhere local. Have been referred back to Smiths as the date had expired- Obviously Covid has not happened at usemygift. I will never ever use these again. What a shower

They only get one star because I can't put no stars.

Cannot find a single hotel willing to accept a booking

We received the voucher for a steam train and afternoon tea in December 2019 but with the pandemic they extended until 1st December 2021. We have managed to do the steam train but I have now tried to book for afternoon tea, I sent a request on 23rd august to go for afternoon tea on the Tuesday 31st August. I got an email on the 27th August saying they had sent my request and when they had confirmation they would email. I have heard nothing since so I emailed again on 31st August to rebook for Sunday 7th September again I have heard nothing. They do not reply to any emails and there is no way you can get in touch with them, no phone numbers. I'm very disappointed and will not be buying from them again. When you go to look where the places are for afternoon tea it tells you what notice you have to give to book, the one I chose said 24 hours, I gave them a weeks notice,

My daughter's bought me a gift voucher from Usemygift.com for my 60th birthday, I activated the voucher on the 4th of August and decided to use it for Cadwell circuit bsb on the 22nd August. I waited for my tickets to arrive, when they didn't,I phoned them, they told me I couldn't go because they hadn't been processed and I would have to wait until I received email confirmation. The customer service receptionist was very unhelpful and couldn't really explain why I couldn't go to Cadwell bsb, the only thing she said was, wait for email confirmation ?????. Still waiting for them to contact me. Please be warned ⚠️ I will not be using there services again. Terrible service and customer care. Regards Ray Conroy.

can anyone advise me on how to contact these people, have a very expensive 2 night away with afternoon tea voucher that has now expired. Would love to speak to someone regarding this

Received the voucher as a Christmas present but could not use it due to COVID 19. When I could use it it had expired and they wanted a further £20 to extend it. Ripped it up in disgust.

Voucher bought as a gift. Unable to use through lockdown. Expired June but the venue didnt open till July. Total joke and waste of money. DO NOT USE. Requested extension but doubt that will happen given all the reviews.

absolutely disagraceful!!! got two vouchers for xmas and has proven to be impossible to book... terrible customer service. website dont work.... no phone numbers. DO NOT USE!

Far too tricky and time consuming to book 2 night break and afternoon tea. Have been trying since April. Disappointing gift for my husband. Will not repeat purchase of voucher with this company.

I agree with all of the posts below. Received a Pet Photo shoot voucher as a gift. It had expired and was asked to pay an extra £20 to extend, which I am not prepared to do after finding this is a con.

I found it difficult to book the 2night break that we had purchased. I've had to email customer sector some help. Not easy to use

i have an Activity Superstore ,Two Night Getaway, bought for me as a gift ,September 2020, not able to use it till recently when lockdown easing , enquired if there was an extension as nowhere had been taking booking's ,told no , so i have 16 weeks to use it, i validated voucher found somewhere with appropriate dates for booking , they came back that that hotel not taking bookings for those dates , though i could have booked independently , they then told me to rebook somewhere else within their limitations of times and dates and they'd deleted my booking request, they hadn't deleted it so logging in all i can get is my previous booking request, all in all dealing with them is a time consuming wasteful experience ,their customer services personal can only be reached by email , anything else , just claim they are busy with high volume of enquiries, hardly surprising given how badly they treat customers , and it seems making money at others expense,
Would definitely Not Recommend to anyone to buy.

We were given a voucher valued at £74 for a 2019 Christmas present from our son and his wife. Due to the pandemic we were then advised to extend this date. Which we then did successfully.
I tried to book an overnight stay as a treat in August 2021 only to be told that the voucher had in fact expired. We were told we could get a further 6 months extension if we were to pay £20 more. These people are an absolute Joke and at NO time should anyone book with them. TOTAL RIPOFF MERCHANTS!!!

Hi, could someone look into Exchange.activitysuperstore.com please. I've a voucher for a Dog Friendly Stay, which was a gift from a relative. It was valid until 1st Dec 2020, but due to restrictions we've not been able to use it. I've received an email to say another £20 will give us an extension of 6 months but we can't get hotel booking, as some of the hotels are not taking the vouchers now. I've just seen the review page and it appears there's a lot of unhappy people left in the same situation as myself. The website doesn't seem to be working or offering alternatives. My relative has paid £100 for nothing. I feel very upset about this. Please help.

We were given a voucher. The cost (you have to be given the receipt to use the voucher) is £4 more than the club entry fee if you just go normally! We had to pay £20 to extend the voucher as Usemygift extended the voucher to 1st of June but the venues you can use it at do not open until the end of July. This company have not done their best - I am grossly disappointed.

Absolute joke, total waste of money. This has been so stressful. I appreciate we have had lockdowns but this company has made the whole experience even more difficult. Do not buy!!!!!

Just went to use voucher after Covid issue. Expired on 1st June and can no longer be utilised. Totally unsatisfactory. No consideration. Advise anyone not to use the Activity Store facility again. Not customer friendly!!!

Gift bought before the pandemic. Only just in the position to stop sheltering. And the voucher has not been extended as promised. Very disappointing
