tried to book afternoon tea for two, a gift from my son, but in the location I want can only book a restaurant that's shut down. reported problem and someone will get back to me in 7 days!!!

This service is a absolute disgrace
I have been trying to use my Christmas present off my son since Christmas and had no luck I have sent many emails & the live chat is always down this is very frustrating

This company is related to Activity superstore. Don’t touch either of them with a 10ft barge pole. Complete and utter scammers. They have now been reported to the police for fraud.

This company is an absolute rip off, they are very quick to point out the exclusions which are on their website, after the sale, but do not print them on the actual vouchers you receive as a present. As a result, I would've had a debt of over £200 for paintball for 8 people. To book the event privately would have been much, much cheaper.

absolute disgusting...no phone number.. no e mail... only a robot that does work ...how can i book when i cannot contact anyone.

Not able to access the website to book. Seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. 😞

Bought my son a treasure hunt for Christmas, redeemed and booked date online for the following day, it says that you get a confirmation email when booked and that you can't change the date once booked. Received an email saying they are away for the Christmas period and would get back to me! Got up this morning and waited for the live chat to open. Was told that the experience isn't available at the moment anyway. Why are they still selling them then?

To get a refund I have to post my voucher back to them and wait 21 days. I am assuming that I would need to pay for recorded postage as the company seem just dodgy enough for them not to 'receive' my letter and so for the £7.50 this voucher cost me it's not really worth it.

My son was really excited about this and I have lost £7.50. If you don't want stress and upset children then please avoid this company.

I received my voucher from my employer and activated the voucher on the usemygift.com website 2 weeks later. The activation process took less than 5 minutes and, to my surprise, the expiry date for the Loch Fyne dining experience is right out to 31/12/2023.
I now have a unique code number with clear instructions provided from the activation process & clear instructions on how to book on line at a time to suit me. Delighted.

Extended my voucher last year due to covid (by paying a premium) and missed the new extension by 3 weeks ... contacted "Samantha" on the chat and after a lengthy back and forth got nowhere.
Couple of points:
1) why dont you contact us in advance of the voucher expiring and remind us .. even upsell to us to get something we can maybe use remotely
2) why have an expiry date at all?

Of course it was my mistake for missing the date .. but with Covid etc surely this company can make exceptions .. these are for gifts / happy memories afterall. = Pure profiteering
Will not be giving and will tell people NOT to give us a voucher in future.

Absolutely shocking!! Unable to book both parts of experience, so nothing was able to be redeemed - phone calls and e-mails ignored, just avoid them! What a waste of money!

My wife purchased a flying gift for myself as they advertised in print on the box its self that they run this experience in my local area. When I logged on to redeem and book the gift the nearest flying experience was on the other side of the country. As far as we can make out the flying experience has NEVER been. run in our local area. This matter has been reported to the advertising standards body and trading standards as it is false advertising. The company refused to give refunds instead opting to offer a experience swap for other experiences which were equally as far away and not at all related. This is a con company please do not waste your money, the only experience you will have is disappointment.

My 84 year old neighbour bought this for us, for looking after her house a lovely gift but unable to use it anywhere in the north east. Total waste of her money, customer relation no feed back to emails

My son and his partner bought us a gift of an overnight stay with breakfast, Charming Inns & Rural Retreats, for Christmas 2019.
This was just as the pandemic started. Activity Superstore automatically extended the voucher by 6 months but even so - it was still IMPOSSIBLE to use as, because of the lockdowns and the restrictions regarding staying overnight anywhere other than your own household being prohibited, this thoughtful gift could not be redeemed. When it came to expire in June 2021, I contacted the company to extend again and was told there would be a charge of £25! We have an identical gift with Buyagift.com and they have allowed us to extend free of charge. I was then warned that if we did not use the gift by Feb 2022, it would be forfeit. This is absolutely despicable. It is daylight robbery. However, reading the other reviews, I feel thankful we were able to use it at all. I would never use or recommend this company.

I received a voucher for XMAS 2019. Which had expiry 2020 but due to COVID I was unable to book or was it the priority. I contacted the to extend the voucher so that I could book and of course they are very sorry they cannot lift a finger to help, even when I offered to pay any increase, they were more than happy to hide behind there false apologies, but they took my student sons money all the same and did tell him. They are very happy to take even more money for another adventure.

Absolute waste of time, couldn't use our vouchers despite getting in touch with them on numerous occasions, definitely avoid this company at all costs,

DO NOT BUY THEIR GIFT VOUCHER!! We were given a birthday gift voucher from friends for "Ultimate choice for 2" in 2019 just before covid19, unfortunately we could not use it so it was extended until 1/12/2021. Some of the places I have tried to book do not except activity superstore vouchers anymore, yet these places are advertised on their websitewhen you search with your postcode! I have emailed the company numerous times, it takes them 3 days before they reply and each time the reply comes back either exchange or nothing relating to the question asked. I am fed-up and feel really sad and upset that our friends who gave us the voucher have wasted their money if we can't use it!

Shocking company to deal with. No one replies to telephone messages / emails etc. I even went to one venue which was run by a load of gobby teens who had no idea what they were doing and told me they couldn't book it online either.

They take the money, but don't honor the voucher (expired during Covid), Only had a 6 month extension to use. No refund, no nothing.

I have 2 Traditional Inns and Pubs Break given as Xmas Presents for dates up till 2020 and 2021 could not book any where I tried,finally a hotel owner in Somerset told me they don't take the Vouchers any more as she does not get reimbursed with the booking and she knows other owners having the same problem.I sent an e.mail to them was told I would receive a reply within a week I am still waiting after 2 months.
They certainly need investigating by Trading Standards as they are operating under false pretences.

Wish I looked at the reviews before buying vouchers. Can not book, can not exchange, can not get hold of customer service.
