I received a parking notice as expected as I was dropping off my partner at Kingston A & E. Apparently you are given 20 minutes grace but they stated that I had taken 45 minutes to escape. This set up is a winner for this company as there is NEVER enough spaces and A & E has a separate parking area which I would have thought would allow a bit more leeway but no. How do these people get contracts to be able to unreasonably fleece the public?

Gave out fines for parking in my garage on a estate.,
Appealed but was denied as garages are not exempt

Fined for going to A and E. As we had been in a car accident, we were too stressed and disorientated to remember to get a ticket ( on a Sunday evening). Got a letter nearly a week later, stating if we didn't pay by a certain deadline ( a week after receiving) the fine would double. Didn't give us enough time to appeal so had to just pay it. The letter says once you pay (in our case to avoid it doubling) you cant appeal.

Took a photograph of the rear of my van with actual brake and reverse lights on as i was leaving customer site, and sent it to my Employer for payment.

My brother is unfortunately in a mental health ward near the Luton and Dunstable hospital. I hold my hands up and say, I didn't even see the signs to say you need to enter your registration on the iPad. However, the ward that my brother was in doesn't have an iPad to enter a reg, that is in another ward, which is locked and you have to press the buzzer for. How are you supposed to know this? I explained this in my appeal and I also included my brothers admission letter, but they rejected it.

Disgusting to say the least. I parked where everybody always parks, there is no sign that says no parking there and there are also some faded lines where you can park. I even had my disabled badge on display. I then receive a letter saying I ignored the first letter and now owe them £100! I never received any letter before this one. These people are scammers and send an intimidating letter making out you ignored the first one they never even sent! I can’t afford £100 for a parking ticket. These people clearly make a living trying to scare vulnerable people for money.

This is a totally pointless act I know. But how can CPM still be allowed to operate? They are SO clearly a fraudulent illegal company!

Sending out “final chance” letters knowing full well they have never sent a previous lower warning!!

Even on their “final chance” letter it reads *£40 discounted offer in previous letter …… then in brackets (you have lost this)!!!!!!!!

They do not even send an original letter!

No address of where parking offence occurred!

I truly have no idea how blatant theft is allowed in this country like this

I’m writing about this company again in the hope it will help some people. My partner received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus on behalf of this company about an alleged parking issue that had happened 6 weeks previous and they were asking for £170. We sought legal advice and were told that under the Protection of Freedom Act 2012, if a company doesn’t serve notice at the time (i.e. parking ticket), then they must serve notice within 14 days of the alleged offence giving you the right to appeal. We wrote to both UK CPM and Dept Recovery Plus stating their legal obligations and UK CPM would not comment further as it had passed the debt on and Debt Recovery Plus failed to respond other than send out further threatening letters including going to court. We stood our ground and told them that we looked forward to having our day in court as we knew they had not fulfilled their legal obligations. We then received a couple more threatening letters from Gladstone Solicitors some months later and we told them the same thing. It is now 2.5 years since the alleged offence happened and 1.5 years since the last threatening letter. Although we were looking forward to our day in court, I guess the bullies decided the only outcome was going to be in our favour and at a cost to them; although I have seen some feedback where they don’t even bother turning up at court. It’s up to you how you deal with any similar situation, but I can only tell you about our experience and we were so determined to take on the bullies. Even if we had gone to court and the court found in their favour (although I’m sure this would not have happened), the fine including court costs would have only arisen to around £250 and we thought it was worth the fight. Finally, just to let you know that the legal advice we sought was from Which? Legal who charge around £99 a year and you can use them for many other issues. So it doesn’t have to cost a fortune and you can also try Citizens Advice. Good luck to anyone who decides to take them on as we did.

Telephoned there number 03454635050 regarding a query on parking patient collection at Kingston Hospital and got to third in the queue and then finally one which I remained for about twenty mins. In totally I was waiting for just over forty-five minutes and no answer.
Terrible, couldnt wait any longer.
From what I can see of quite a few comments on social media and reviews this is the normal for this company. They are very poor.

Would give a zero if I could! Fined for parking when I live in the flats and pay for the privilege of parking! I appealed, sending all the information. Heard nothing. Sent a letter of complaint, saying I'd heard nothing. No response. Rang them. Person I spoke to said my appeal had been rejected, she didn't know why. Gave an email to enquire further. Emailed. No response. Now have received a final chance before action letter. Total scam. I will not be paying!

2 hours on hold then got cut off. For a company that makes £30million a year they need to hire some staff.

Letters get sent for fines incredibly late after the issue date.

Never use this company they fine valid permit holders even if their allocated spot is unavailable due to illegal parking and the appeal service is a total waste of time all they want to do is increase the fine. A twenty four hour service run about four hours a day if you're lucky. The date below is only one of many.

I parked at West Pentire car park. I paid £5 for 6 hours, we left after nearly 5 hours. A week later I received PCN from these scammed. Good jod I kept my parking recipt!! I've appealed, but, not holding my breath!! Won't be paying these cowboys a penny! What a way to run a company! Why aren't they prosecuted for literally stealing money from honest people through intimidation & threats?

I keep getting a fine for parking in an area on the complex I LIVE ON AND HAVE A VALID PERMIT. The nearest signage states up to 3 hrs parking allowed between 08:00 and 23:00. My most recent fines were gained at 06:57 and 06:40...quite clearly OUTSIDE of the enforcement hours. Harassing thieves! At least Mr Turpin had the decency to wear a mask!!

Charging where ‘Cancer Patients’ get a reduction or free parking. It’s taken weeks to get a reply. Still haven’t got my refund.

More than a month of back and forth communication and I still don't have my parking permit. Every emails takes them more than a week to respond. This is a regulation protected monopoly.

This company deserves a zero. A total Scam of a company. Someone had parked in my allocated space, so I parked in the visitors space, with my permit in fall view. They fined me for not showing a permit, and even took a picture of said permit. Appealed... they rejected .... saying that a permit was not displayed. We called, to.only be told that we could appeal again, but would be charge £100, as it would go over the 28 days, so your better off paying the £60. So we asked if we paid and won the appeal would we get a refund. And of course we can all guess the answer. A big fat NO!!! What a SCAM!!!!

I ordered a visitor permit on 7th May 2026 but not received till today. Called their phone number and waited more than hour to get help. One lady didn't understand my query and again put me in wait to get hold of non exist permit team member. Horrible experience with them.
