Luckily we didn’t take it further than the quoting stage. All we wanted was a back door for our new garage. Man measured up then asked to come inside to talk through the options. Said a back door would be £1400. My partner said it was too expensive, so the salesman rang his manager and said they could knock it down to £800. Was told he had an hour and a half slot to stay with us to try and sell it too it. Absolutely shocking. We just thought we were getting a quick measure up and quote

We have used T&K 4 times before with no real problems, but this last time we had an internal Door fitted by them, after the work was done the installers just filled a big hole in the wall with plastic spacers thinking this was expectable. It took 5 visits for the repairs to the hole in the wall to be rectified correctly. After the poor workmanship was finally rectified they was on the phone for payment. I did ask for a little bit off the price as a Gesture of Goodwill for inconvenience caused as twice I had to take time off work for there visits, but was told its not company policy.

Just had a new door and patio doors fitted. I chose this company as the windows they installed over 20 years ago are still in great condition.

Jay, Dave and their colleague were polite, friendly and explained exactly what would happen. They left the house clean and tidy, the removal of patio doors was expected to cause damage but they took their time and made good afterwards.

I would use them again.

We've been really disappointed with this company. Luckily we only got to the quoting stage, which was pretty much complete shambles. We had used them in the past and they were good, but not this time: absolutely no technical information given (actual build of the window system, U-values to expect as we were tempted by their 'triple glazing for the price of double' offer), salesperson not getting back to us. I had to email the secretary to request the U Values. She was actually the most helpful person in the company. We literally had to chase them up for quotes which strangely kept getting higher and higher in price. We went to their show 'village' to find the tilt and turn window we were interested in was broken, then be told that they'd get back to us really quickly with an acceptable / properly reworked quote...they didn't. My husband had to ring them 3 times before the manager finally rang me, apologizing because the quote had been generated 'without the toggle button slided' (which meant that the fitting costs were missing!), so the quote had been too low. He did say that the salesperson had personal problems at the time...all this since last November and it's now Jan.
Anyway...just to warn people that T&K is making big claims about being in business for 40 yrs, etc...but at least our recent experience is sadly not good. I was really happy with their work last time and I wanted to use them again. We're not likely to. Maybe if you need some really standard windows / doors, they would be OK, but anything more 'fancy', they're not interested or cannot do it (despite the fact that they advertise that they do on their website).

I have never had a worse customer experience . Over a year to install my windows. They painted over damage and even tried to install a window frame with wooden boards instead of glass and believed we would be ok with that. I would never use them again and would recommend everyone avoid. I wish I had went elsewhere.

Totally unprofessional. No support on complaining and no solutions. My advice is to avoid buying anything from this company. Bad experience .Poor quality and installation, Wrong colour+ measurements. I can't say more than that

Guy who turned up was poor and had no idea what he was talking about.

T&K installed flush fitting windows to our house.
Dominic came round to measure up. He was extremely friendly and ensured that the windows we wanted would fit the style of our old house.
We went with the Basalt grey flush windows and monkey tail handles.
The installers (Lee and Dave) were also really friendly and did an excellent job.
Overall, we are really happy with the finish and new look. The grey windows complement our slate tiles beautifully and enhance the period features of the property.
We certainly made the right choice with T&K and have already recommended them to our friends.
