GREAT SERVICE, PRODUCTS AND DELIVERY

Ordered two bath sheets. Quick delivery, great communication, wonderful bath sheets.

Following my review The White Company have been in touch resolved this problem. I bought a two wick candle , "Primrose Hill". It was very disappointing as there was no discernible scent at all and the candle burned far more quickly than expected, nowhere near the stated 41 hours. I left a factual cool review on their website . It has not been published. They make you wait for an email inviting you to leave a review, I did not know this so I contacted customer services on live chat; they were barely interested; just a virtual shrug of the shoulders.

Terrible company 12 years of being a loyal customer and last 4 orders cancelled rang again managers were in meeting (not obviously) still waiting for a refund after 8 days past I think it's because all items are made in China (temu white company) be careful what you order as I've been told twc are going into administration

I recently visited the York branch to browse for a number of gifts to purchase unfortunately everything I picked up was not priced having to ask for a price for everything is tedious and unnecessary - I eventually walked out without purchasing feeling annoyed & frustrated. I shall visit again but if nothing has changed I will not purchase.

Ordered some slate towels that in my opinion were a pale gray. Returned them and had to chase and chase my refunds that came in stages. Took over a month and about 6 phone calls and hours to chase. Was promised twice for calls back. Live chat is useless. In the end they refund the rest over the phone by card because said finance were so behind. I raised a complaint to customer services last week hasn’t even been acknowledged yet

Pomegranate medium candle has delicate sharp splinters that stick out at the bottom hardly noticeable but when handling (and trying to prize off the plate) some have come off and gone into my fingers quite painful to get out. It seems to have occurred towards the end of the candles life. Some of the objects in the candles can stick out I have Seychelles and Christmas one which I truly adore. The pomegranate although my favourite scent has these small fragments.

Also the candle has stuck to the ceramic candle plate. Maybe it’s a faulty candle not sure first time this has happened.

What I find incredible is that despite having proof of purchase Maqhawe from customer services team has replied with the below

“can confirm that you are able to have the candle detached from the plate by gently twisting it. I can confirm that we’re unable to send a replacement or refund as the order is outside our returns' policy of 30 days. This includes refunds and exchanges from our stores as well”

When a Set is not a set
I bought a super king duvet set for my bed. I was super happy with the choice, I took it out the bag washed it put it away. why wouldn't I? I was very pleased with my choice. However when i put it on my super king bed with my super king pillows. Surprise the pillow cases are standard size NOT super king. I am so disappointed in the white company, they could only apologise however they are not bothered that i now have to buy 2 extra super king pillow cases @37.00 each to make a Duvet cover a set that i can use. So super king users beware. otherwise you will have standard pillow cases to join undoubtedly the loads you already have.

I have been a loyal customer of the white company for a long time. There was a mix up with an online order of mine and it was dealt with professionally and promptly. Thankyou!

I buy the diffusers every year and this year I have bought 2 of the Santa Rosa and noticed the bottles are bigger thought this was a good thing and didn’t mind paying the extra few £ as I noticed they are also £40 each now, well I was shocked as I can’t smell anything I have 2 of them going at the same time and litrally no smell at all what a complete waste of £80 I certainly won’t bother buying again.

I got one of your candals as a gift. It was £45 so not cheap. I followed the instructions and what instructions for a candal. Only 2 of the wicks light now. When I explained to your shop assistant she said it must of been in a draught that's why its like that. I have candals all over my house and never had this. The wasteland this candal is so disppointing. For the expensive it is. B&M do one similar and it burns how it should. This is a waste of money and hasn't got much fragrance. I have bought candals from you before and never had this. I will definitely not be buying again and my family were very disappointed too. As they won't be buying from u again. Very disappointed customer. The candalcwas bought ladt year and I was giving it for Xmas

Had the most superb experience in the new store at Bicester Village secretly shopping for my wife’s birthday. I was so well looked after by Summer who was absolutely brilliant in looking after me so well and for making my shopping experience so fulfilling. Honestly the old store used to stress me out so much, but the new store was so well laid out, spacious and calm and I felt like I was in New Bond Street! Thank you Summer and you are a great ambassador for The White Company!

Product good.
Delivery woeful.
Twice in 2 months evri has failed to deliver.
When I asked for a replacement discount voucher to use in store, their reply was that vouchers can only be used on line.
Defeats the purpose as I have no confidence in their Delivery company

The White Company, such a lovely Company. The staff always Helpful and Friendly while providing that little luxurious shopping experience. Online too, quick and efficient dealing with queries

Racially profiled in white company bluewater. Terrible experience. Me and my partner was stared at suspiciously as if we didn’t belong in the store. I actually ended up leaving and going to rituals because the customer service was so poor. I’ve been to white company on two occasions and have felt this on both occasions. I won’t be shopping there again.

Do not buy from this company.

I was given a white cotton dressing gown for my birthday from my daughter. After a couple of washes the dressing gown came apart under the arms. It was clearly poorly made and a faulty product.

This was extremely frustrating as my daughter had saved up and spent around £80 for this poor quality over priced product.

I have been into store twice (with an extremely rude response from their staff) and have e-mailed their customer services.

I have had no email response since first contacting them back in November. I have called them and sent chase e-mails. I have not even had an acknowledgment of my email.

I have been extremely shocked by their shocking customer service and lack of response following my faulty item.

Do not buy from this company

Do *NOT* order something to be delivered to you from The White Company. They use cheap couriers. It has been more than 4 weeks, and our parcel got lost. After a certain time frame, they agreed to re-send it, and that also mysteriously got lost. Customer service are no help, and we are no further forward. We have a new bed and no sheets - and they have our money! Avoid yourself the hardship, and make sure to shop elsewhere

What's happening at White Company? Goods ordered on Monday, and paid for Next Day delivery. Goods didn't arrive. Chat bot offered refund for delivery charge. Still no goods. Rang customer service on Wednesday, who agreed to send duplicate order but as I'd rung them after 2 pm, it couldn't be next day(!!), but the day after. Today, still no goods and no sign on the Evri app that they're even got them yet! White Company, sort out your distribution - love your store, but not so impressed with on line ordering.

The stores are an aesthetic delight. The soft, neutral colours are gorgeous and the whole ambience is pleasing. Let down slightly by prices that are a little too high and sales practices that are difficult to understand. They'll put something aside for you for a short while if you don't pay for it but, if you want to really secure it by paying in advance, they won't. Also, my order couldn't be found when I went to the Chiswick shop.
