Do Not Pre-order!
Pre-ordered and paid for a signed copy of the diary of a wimpy kid months ago and got a refund with no explanation for not fulfilling the order. So poor, I now have to let my little one know he waited so long for nothing because the book store is a joke! Don't pre-order from this store.

Only 1 Star because you can’t give Zero ! DO NOT USE
Ordered a signed only of the new Charlie Mackesy book, done and paid for in June, ordered cancelled nearly 4 months later because TG Jones can’t fulfil.
How much money must TG Jones be making in interest from holding customers money in their accounts for months and then cancelling orders and not compensating customers. Surely that must be illegal, it was when energy companies did the same with customers money in their accounts !!!

Ignorant and rude
I took the time to apply for a job working here, and did not receive any acknowledgement whatsoever from them. It's frustrating when they want us to send CV and references etc, but they can't be bothered to tell us where they are up to with the process and we have got to go to see the job coach at the job centre not knowing where we are up to. If their internal processes are so bad that they can't communicate with candidates, maybe it's a relief that I didn't end up working there.

Refuses to follow UK consumer law
TGJones refused to refund a £1.99 delivery fee after I cancelled before delivery — violating the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (Regulations 29 & 34).
If this happens to you, cite those regulations in writing and report them to Trading Standards. If they still refuse, raise a chargeback — your bank will refund you in full.

Avoid at all costs
Absolute scam. Ordered a book showing as in stock and paid extra for next day delivery. It's been 16 days and still no book. Refund requested, not holding my breath though!

Appalling service I ordered a book £33 the order was delivered and left outside without my instructions, I emailed customer service to request a refund they refused that & said because it shows the correct delivery address there nothing there can do so I’ve basically been scammed, do not order from this store the customer service is disgusting

Item not available advertised as in stock
Item ordered on the basis it was advertised as being in stock dispatched on 48 hours. 12 days later no product. Contacted customer service to be told it was not in stock, hadn't been for some time and supplier didn't know when it would be. I wouldn't know this if I hadn't asked. To add insult to injury the item is still on the site, in stock for 48 hour dispatch. Blatant misrepresentation and no concept of customer service. Order cancelled and refund requested, I wonder if I'll ever get it. Never using them again.

This is the new owner of WHSmith.
It totally looked like a scam initially, but it's not. I recieved my goods, everything went very well. I found the site, because they actually had my items in stock - as opposed to other vendors. Most likely, because people don't trust that site yet ^^. I personally would have mentioned after the rebrand, that this used to be WHSmith, but of course no-one asked me.
