Predatory Stalls
This all took place at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, TX. I work in the mall and I always go shopping or window shopping inside and know not to stop at any stall because of the scams they promote, Straight Ahead Beauty inside of Stonevriar mall is no different. As someone who takes marketing classes for mechanical engineering, in no way should you be approaching customers in money predatory ways. I was reeled in and so were a few other teens which tried to leave but to no avail and caved into buying the product so bless them. This lady pulls me in and sits me down giving me guilt on the get go by hitting me with complements so I don't leave and tries to sell the product for a cheap price by saying this is only for you (which is obviously a lie seeing all the other people be given cheap prices for the same bundle I was given in this comment stream). she even makes me text my mom and boyfriend and makes me prove it to her. As an excuse to get away I told her my boyfriend would buy it for me and I moved into a shop across where I hid because she kept trying to aggressively sell the product. GIRLS WITH COLORED HAIR I am scene/emo and I of course have brightly colored blue hair. In the moment it didn't look like the steam the product uses stripped my hair of any color but when I got back to my boyfriends place the damage was done. It stripped my hair of its color and still left it of its same grainy texture because of how I bleached my hair. Shame on the stall employees this company hires and shame on this product for promoting stuff that isn't even true. STALLS IN MALLS WILL FOREVER AND ALWAYS BE SCAMS AND I WANT YOU ALL TO SEE AND LISTEN TO THIS BECAUSE IM TIRED OF WATCHING PEOPLE GET SCAMMED. Plus it's my graduation day so thank you for ruining part of my hair and creating such a wonderful (not) experience for me.

Had a great experience at the oprymills mall in Nashville Tennessee! I was coming down for the holidays and went to this mall for this first time, and this young lady named Jade stopped me offering a hair sample. At first I didn’t want to stop but she was persistent which worked out great for me🤣 she showed me a bunch of hair products which I loved and some I’ve bought. Didn’t have the budget for everything she demonstrated lol, I do love my new hair tools and treatments tho and will fs be back for more! Go see my friend Jade she’s awesome

I had a deeply upsetting experience at…
I had a deeply upsetting experience at the Straight Ahead Beauty store in Opry Mills Mall. While speaking with the store manager about a hair straightener, I mentioned that although it seemed like a good product, I already owned a quality straightener and didn’t need another. I also explained that I’m visiting from Australia and couldn’t take anything extra home due to limited luggage space.
Despite this, the manager insisted I return my current straightener (a GHD) and proceeded to offer their product, originally priced at $370 USD, for $89 USD. When I declined again, she laughed at me, clapped in my face, and dismissed me in a humiliating manner. Her behavior was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional, and I left the store in tears.
This experience left a very negative impression of the store and the brand. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially after politely declining a sale.
For this reason, I would never purchase this product.

Unfortunately I let this lady in the mall use this straightener on my wig that I told them was fake before proceeding anything. She told me it was fine it was “no heat” my wig would be fine she could make it look better. Yeah she burned my wig off. And the owner won’t replace my wig wants to send me a product that burned my wig. I am bald no hair I used my only wig for self esteem it was an expensive wig. Completely heart broken over my wig.

This is a total scam!!! I was on vacation the lady used a completely different hair tool than what they actually sell. Than they gave me wrong product than what receipt says. Company doesn't do refunds or fix the problem. Their products are awful and don't work. Don't waste your money or time.

Do not buy this product! I was on my way out of a mall and I was with four 13-year-olds. Two of them are my identical twins and they got sucked into sitting down and of course whatever the person did made their hair look great. He had my other twin sit down, made her hair look great and told her that just for her he was going to take $100 off of what was initially $330. and he told me that I could return the product if I was not satisfied. So, not only did he say he was taking $100 off, which he lied about, he also lied about the ability to return it. Now mind you again I am with for young teenagers and trying to get out of the mall to get home on a Sunday. So I'm trusting everything this person is saying and when he charged my credit card, I realized he did not take $100 off. And then he lied and said no I'm gonig to give you $100 worth of
Extra products. Which included some serum and some combs. There were five of us there who heard him say he was going to take $100 off the original price. and at that point he already charged my card and I didn't even want to stop there in the first place, but he reeled my kids in. I wanted to do a little bit more research about the product before opening it. Because again I was told I could return it. I happened to go to my hairstylist shortly after purchasing this product. She was very concerned that I paid way too much that I shouldn't pay that much money for a straight iron. That is when I started to look up the product and see all of these terrible reviews. I found the receipt, put it in the bag with everything and realize somewhere in the middle of the receipt, it says no refunds. I never would have purchased it in the first place if I knew that was the case. I'm finding that people are saying they were folded into buying this product and what they used initially on their hair was not what they bought. And I'm saying prices that are all over the place. In some areas barely charged someone $80. Mine was $330. and burnt buying was not the same product that they used in what typically seems to be a kiosk in a mall. So I was absolutely lied to. I will not open this product and I will go back to the mall and demand a refund. Nothing has been touched and if I am not issued a refund, then I have enough people who are influencers on social media, who will not only name the product but name the exact mall where I got this product from and I will stand there for as long as I need to and tell people not to listen to whoever's trying to deceive someone into buying the straightener. He completely took advantage of the fact that I had several kids with me, pulled them over and I could've probably controlled that part better, but the lying and this is happens right before the mall closes, it's just not good business to do something like that. And I am really upset. So absolutely do not go near this brand! I am not finished with the situation. I am so happy I never opened it. And I will get a refund one way or another. and if was they're selling, it was truly the same thing as what they're using in the malls then I will be more than happy, if I can't get a refund, to trade the brand new straightener in the box for the one they are using at the mall to reel you in.

Ugh, I just bought a straightener today from a kiosk in Franklin, TN. I wish I would have read these reviews first because now I'm worried about what we actually got. If the company is getting so many complaints about different kiosks, maybe you should look into them. I'm worried I got scammed.

No Replacement No Refund
I ordered my replacement after my original flat iron broke. I paid the replacement fee of $29.99 on October 26th, 2024. After 2 months of waiting in reached out to customer service. I was told that it would be sent out that day. I waited 2 weeks before reaching out again. This time I was told my product was returned because the product could not be delivered. I was then given the option to send it USPS or receive a refund. Against my better judgment I chose to try once more. This time it's been months and customer service has ghosted me. They won't reply to my emails, they won't give me a refund. It's now March, 16th, 2025. I shouldn't have to wait 5 months for a replacement. I was initially sold on the lifetime warranty, don't be fooled like I was.

Stijltang gekocht en deze ging kapot. Mail gestuurd in verband met garantie. Hierop werd netjes gereageerd. Er werd mij gevraagd om foto's te sturen van de Stijltang en factuur. Dit netjes gedaan. Ik kreeg een mail dat ik een formulier moest invullen en 39.95 eur verzendkosten betalen. Ook dat gedaan. Stijltang zou binnen 5 dagen bezorgd worden. Gevraagd om een track and tracé code. De dame Veronica gaf aan dat ze deze aan haar manager had gevraagd. Ook gevraagd of de Stijltang al verstuurd was. Nu 2 weken later niks meer gehoord en op mail wordt niet meer gereageerd. Ben voorzichtig als je hier wat koopt

I needed help choosing between two blow dryers, and the young sales man at the mall was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. I went with their recommendation, and I’m so happy I did! My hair dries faster, looks shinier, and feels healthier than ever. Highly recommend both their products and their customer service!

Watch out for the bait and switch. What you leave with is not the same as the item they use for the demo.
Bought after an expo where the tool used on my curly hair was amazing. Unfortunately, after being told the one I was being sold was the same one demonstrated on my hair, I got home to see that it absolutely isn’t. The one they use for demos has multiple temperature settings. The one you leave with has zero temperature controls. The sales woman was very nice and friendly and didn’t use the pressure tactics described in other reviews. Very disappointed in the bait and switch that was pulled. And before the company tries to reply stating they’re just the manufacturer blah blah blah, I’ll be reporting the fraudulent practice.

Updated, but still concerned about product longevity
I'm updating my review because the curling iron manufacturer immediately contacted us and sent us a new curling iron. Their immediate attention is to be commended! Thank you straightaheadbeaty.com for excellent customer service.
However, based on our experience below and other reviews, I have definite concerns about how long this curling iron will work. For $500, it should last several years.
But still ZERO stars for Lululux retail mall kiosk! Bought the Infrared Breeze at a kiosk in Park Place Mall in Tucson. Tried it the next day and didn't work! We tried to return it for a refund but they have a 'no refund' policy which they did NOT tell my wife when she bought it!!
They also did not have the same unit and gave us a used demo unit to take home. And the demo unit doesn't work either!!
We were scammed!!

In the Deptford mall the girl had me sit down she straightened a few pieces of my hair It looked really good but I never said I wanted to buy she then asked me what my favorite color was I said purple so she got a bag and put a purple one in the bag and then offered a free comb and mat with it caught so off guard I bought it! when I get home I wanted to try it my hair had some waves in it from having it in a bun it took forever to straighten it with this flat iron it pulled strands of my hair out also. I went back for a refund, and she accused me of pulling my own hair and and said I could not have a refund. salesperson Arielle Deptford mall!

Tough nut to crack
We went on holiday to Florida and met a lovely guy who was trying his best to sell me a hair straightener. I’m British so we’re a tough nut to crack. My suitcase had been lost and my hair was FRIZZY! He did my whole hair for me bless him and then I bought the serum for my hair which I needed as I’d been without my hair oil for DAYS by this point (IYKYK), he thought he was doing me a deal by showing me they worth $200 on the site and he can do it for $20. The hair serum is good and with the exchange rate, it’s what I pay for mine back here in England anyway. Didn’t get the straightener though, glad I didn’t as back home they sell the same one for £30 😂. If I ever need sales training, I know what company to contact that’s for sure! 😅.

Worth Every Penny!
I bought the hairdryer, straightener and the anti frizz oil and I couldn’t be happier! Nothing drys my hair faster than this hairdryer! I’m use to it taking 30 minutes and even then my hair won’t be completely dry. With the SA dryer, my hair is literally dry within 5 minutes! The oil is phenomenal and it will take you months to use it up! Worth every penny!

Wie konnte ich mich dieser Manipulation aussetzen? Achtung: Auf der Messe in Berlin am 17.11.2024, Stand D 160 Repräsentant Soleil!!! Verkauf von Waren zweifelhafter Herkunft und gesundheitsgefährdend! Der Lockenstab der Firma Straight Ahead entspricht nicht der Werbung die versprochen wird. Der Kaufbeleg wurde von einem Dritten, Dennis Stemmler, Bleibtreustr. 36 in Berlin ausgestellt. Telefonnummer wird absichtlich verheimlicht. Es besteht keine Garantie für das Produkt!

Encantada del producto y de la clase q nos dieron , muy profesionales y con unas vibras bien bonita , miraba los review negativos q tienes pero nada que ver con los productos q nos vendieron a nosotras como escuela nos trajeron los productos originales , sus planchas con los inflarrojos de muy buena calidad igual q sus secadoras y enchinadoras , con garantía d por vida q es la mejor opción , muy feliz y satisfechas con mi compra y la clase recibidas
