Not what I expected!
Ordered garden shed 30th June and did not receive it until 28th August.
My delivery was delayed due to a manufacturing issue which I could understand. I rescheduled the delivery with the customer service team for 3 days later, no show. It took for me to contact the customer service team to be told I would get a call back, which I didn’t. After my second call I was advised there was an error with the migration (change of the delivery date) onto the couriers system. If there was any issue with the delivery it should have been communicated not left for me to chase up.
The quality of the garden shed is okay, there are a few areas where the wood has bowed. But after the very long wait and the issues with the delivery, I was not prepared to return it.

I can confirm that the order has now been cancelled at our end, so no further delivery will be attempted.
As the order was placed and paid for through Screwfix, the refund will need to be processed by them directly. If you contact Screwfix, they’ll be able to arrange this for you.

A very nice looking Gazebo. Had one broken glass pane out of 18 which was replaced very quickly.

The first delivery was refused as it was a shed instead of a sumnerhouse which the staff in your customer service department did not believe us. Dealing with customer service was not very pleasant with shire or robert dyas who we bought the item from however the second delivery a week later was good and the driver went out of his way to assist me in locating the item in the backgarden. There seemed to be a lack of belief that we were actually telling the truth.

Poor quality product ..shed was 3 months old when I contacted them to say it was bowing I went through a series of questioning about what I must have done wrong I.e storing it wrongly, what floor was it sitting on and then finally had I treated it! I then was offered a new part but I would have to incur charge for third parties to dismantle and put it back together. I bought this shed in good faith followed instructions to the letter but what i got was a shed that wasn't fit for purpose, poor wood which cracked and bowed, screws became loose and literally the worst customer service from both Shire and Robert Dyas...dont buy from these cowboys

Not for me!
I ordered through Homebase. Initial communication with shore was prompt and they sent a booking date. I booked my date and it would be 5 weeks- average for a shed. The day before delivery I’d heard nothing. I reached out to them asking if they could confirm on track, as partner would need to work from home to receive shed. Nothing. Then day of delivery they sent a phone message saying they’d damaged part of the shed loading it on truck and so it couldn’t be delivered, and unfortunately it meant THE WHOLE shed would need remaking and it would be another month. I think this is rubbish- this shed is available everywhere and there is no way they haven’t got parts, plus I’d seen this excise used in other reviews.
I didn’t want to wait another month for them and had read negative reviews so cancelled my order through Homebase. I will say, they cancelled and returned my order£900 promptly.

I haven't received my product
I haven't received my product. The earliest delivery date was approx 4 weeks after I ordered it, I booked a day off work. The day before delivery was due I received a message saying that my product had been damaged so it couldn't be delivered the next day and they had rebooked for the 1st September. I contacted to say no one would be home and wanted a refund. The y responded saying contact Tesco. Very poor customer service - unsure if I will receive it my delivery.

Summerhouse Disappointment
We initially purchased our summerhouse June 26, delivery was delay due to some problems in there factory and it was not delivered until 18th August, when delivered it appeared as if it was just dumped on our drive, the door glass was just placed in the doors. So when we pick them up the glass dropped out, thankfully toughened glass so did not break.
We then came to construct the summerhouse and found missing items, not enough flooring, all the beading for the doors, diamonds for roof and door handles were missing.
Contacted them and they initially gave me the date of the 25th for missing parts, this did not happen, contacted them again and was told 27th this did not happen. Now still waiting and apparently it will be delivered on the 3rd September.
Their customer service is shocking and no one called back when requested.
I will never use this company again, stay away from them if you want a fully functional summer house

Awful company to deal with
Awful company to deal with, been let down a second time on delivery at the latest notice. I have rang numerous times in the past two weeks to check my delivery would be here and assured by “rob” I don’t need to worry 🤷🏻♀️ they just apologise and think that’s ok! No compensation and not even a valid reason as to why this has happened again. Who knows when my cabin will arrive, your guess is as good as mine. Avoid this company and please read the other reviews, I wish I had.

We had 3 delivery dates and never did…very disappointed
We had 3 delivery dates and never did get the shed we ordered. We were told it had been delivered but it had been taken to a different address and left on their lawn. The shed when I found it was clearly an ex demo and not a new shed. Today we had a driver call at our address to collect the shed that we never got. We told him where it was. His admin should have told him. The whole experience was shocking from start to finish.

Bad service and communication
Originally ordering and booking delivery was easy, however less than 24 hours before delivery was due, I was emailed to say it would be delivered a week later.
When I called customer service they said there had been a manufacturing delay. This was never communicated and I had already waited a month for my shed.
Customers service didn't care about the inconvenience and how long I had to wait.
They wanted to deliever when suited them. They also could not give me a morning or evening delivery slot so I have to wait all day until it arrives.
I asked for compensation for the delay and bad service which they said no.
This is all before I see the quality of the product

We’re also sorry that you felt our customer service team didn’t care about the inconvenience. That certainly isn’t how we want our customers to feel, and we do genuinely understand how disappointing it is when things don’t go to plan.
We always try our best to keep customers updated when there are unexpected delays, and while we appreciate that the notice on this occasion was not ideal, we did make contact as soon as the revised delivery information was confirmed.

Poor quality, too many delays
Product is not of great quality. Many pieces slightly warped and therefore poorly fitting. Delivery date was delayed, so I'm guessing construction is being rushed.
This was also the very hot summer, which I'm sure will have affected the timber.
As well as the delay, the glazing was not with the delivery. When it eventually arrived a piece was incorrect. More delay.
Bolts, locks, latches are cheap alloy.
It looks good up, but has taken a while to ensure a weatherproof fit.

We’re especially sorry that the glazing was not supplied with the original delivery and that, when it eventually arrived, one of the panels was incorrect. We also apologise that, when you contacted us to clarify whether the glazing should be glass or acrylic, you were told that someone would get back to you and this unfortunately didn’t happen. We appreciate how frustrating it must have been to have this uncertainty and then have the incorrect panel cause yet another delay to completing and using your building.
We’re also sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the fit of some of the timber components and the overall quality of the hardware. We appreciate that, while you are pleased with how the building looks once completed, the process of getting it to that point has been far more difficult and time-consuming than it should have been.
A replacement acrylic panel has since been arranged and posted, and we sincerely hope this resolves the glazing issue for you. We can only apologise for the delays, inconvenience and frustration you’ve experienced throughout your order. This is certainly not the experience we want our customers to have, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback.
