The SCS sales team at Glasgow Forte went above and beyond helping me select my settee. They helped me set up the finance and even manager stayed late to get everything set up. My settee arrived today and the two delivery men were amazing as well. Well organised delivery with good tracking of their arrival time. Build up settee and made sure I was happy before they left nothing was a bother really pleased with SCS from start to finish.

I had an excellent experience with delivery drivers John and Paulino. They provided exceptional service, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork throughout the entire process. They worked incredibly hard, going above and beyond to ensure my large sofas were delivered to the designated space. They expertly navigated challenging areas and never gave up at the first obstacle. Their dedication and positive attitude made a significant difference, and I wish more drivers were like them. Keep up the great work!

My partner purchased a beautiful reclining display sofa. Pierce was keen to provide good service in the store and we were made aware it would be delivered when the stock was due to change a couple of weeks later.
Today should have been delivery day. Our tracking showed 1555-1610. At 1930, it still does. No word. No contact. No sofa.
Of course, SCS shop shut for new stock to be installed so can't contact anyone at Glasgow Fort. No response by email either. They are also shut tomorrow. The distribution centre number rang out repeatedly. Lack of communication has made this frustrating and disappointing. Measures were taken around work to accommodate the alleged delivery day/time. We have no idea if or when it will ever arrive.
This is deeply unprofessional and the opposite of a positive purchasing experience. Food apps can track sandwich delivery accurately to keep customers informed. Why can't SCS do something similar with such expensive purchases? It wasn't waiting to arrive from Italy. The sofa was on the showroom floor.
Stressful and really did not expect this level of poor service.

Fiona at the ScS up at the fort was brilliant, they took time to understand what I was looking for and showed me all the leather options. I had an idea of the sofa I wanted already so they showed me the display sofa they had and showcased all the features for me. They even helped me meaure it to make sure the size was okay. They were super friendly amd welcoming and it was clwar they knew what they were talking about when it came to the product and the purchase options. I'm glad I took the time to go up and speak to someone in person instead of buying online.

The guys went all out to make sure the delivery happened. Can’t thank them enough for what they did. Plus the time they spent doing the delivery. Also taken every bit of packing and rubbish with them. Thank again too Robert & George

Ordered a sofa back in may delivery due july 4th called them not ready for delivery got a txt for delivery on 25th which didnt suit so agreed on 28th july now received message by txt to say delivery will not happen on 28th & cant give me a date so called them 2&half hrs ago still waiting on call back end result I will be cancelling my order so scs at glasgow fort am goin else where now for better service

My sofa was delivered early, which was absolutely perfect. However, the delivery men looked at the door, asked if i could take the door off, which i did, by myself, without any sort of a help. The delivery men pushed the couch up the 5 steps i have, and attempted to push the couch into the house, it got snagged up on the door frame then they stated that the rails were in the way and asked me to measure my windows. I was then told that I'd probably need to have my window taken out and they couldn't deliver my sofa it but they could pop the sofa round the corner into the close while I organised to have my window removed at some point over the coming days or they could take the sofa back. I told them neither was an option and to just leave it. I then had my friend attend, we removed the feet from the couch and got it straight in. I've now been left with all the boxes and plastic wrap to dispose of myself. Great sofa, rubbish delivery, no sort of problem solving in the slightest. The delivery guys were nice but just couldn't think outside the box to get the sofa in the house. If I was elderly, frail or immobile, how was I meant to have this installed properly.

On the scheduled day of delivery I was emailed to say that delivery - a couch and an armchair - would be between 15.55 -16.20 to my relative in an Assisted Living accommodation. By 7pm no delivery had been made and no email or text offering an explanation for the non-delivery was received. I contacted the shop at that time to be told they had no knowledge about delay or reason for non-delivery but someone would contact me in morning. No one called me next morning as, I was subsequently told, the shop staff could not make contact with the delivery depot in Livingstone to obtain information (!) After several more phone calls, a delivery was eventually made at 5.30 that evening. All the staff I spoke to could not have been more apologetic but the fact remains that the delivery service and communication was unsatisfactory and left a poor impression of the company.

Initially on purchasing a new sofa and chair in March i was given a delivery date of early June which was fine. To my annoyance, only part of my order was delivered and when i contacted the Fort manager Gavin he had no clue as to where the other part might be. After several phone calls where i was told they would check what was happening with the rest of the order and call me back, they never did call back and it was always myself or my wife chasing this up when they said they would contact me. I was then told it was an issue with the supplier and i was given a new date for delivery on 7th July however this was pushed back until the 11th July (29 days after initial delivery date) again it was always us contacting them which i found very poor. We were given a scheduled delivery time between 2.40pm and 2.50pm and this time came and went with no update as to what had happened. I called Gavin again and he was not sure what was going on. Behold, the chair turned up at 7.30pm that evening. (Drivers must have had rough day in the temperatures) so no blame on them. In short just avoid ordering from the Glasgow Fort store as once they have your money they couldnt care less,however if you dont mind waiting a full month past the scheduled delivery date and endeless phone calls that are not returned just go with another store or company. I find it incredible that you can supposedly order a sofa in October and have it for Xmas but cant get one in a decent time frame earlier in the year. I will be avoiding in future. Be warned.

Excellent experience, We had seen a sofa and decided to buy it as it had a sale offer on. Fiona at the Fort dealt with our purchase and she was really nice, explained everything and answered all of our queries professionally and with a warm friendly manner. We ended up getting the footstool aswell as it was a great deal 👌

Fiona was very helpful, explained all the options, pointed out examples of the fabrics / colours. She was friendly and chatty, not pushy and we bought the chair after speaking with her. Would definitely return.
