I have bought lot of things on amazon, ebay and others.
We needed to buy some Kitchen appliances for my mother in law in Europe.She is redoing her kitchen.I was not able to find much option and better prices in amazon and ebay.
The electric current in Europe is 220 volts.
I googled and stumble upon samstores.com. They had the whole world of 220 volts appliances and video products. We tried them with a small order first blu ray dvd player. It came in time and worked as it said.We called them one of the sales rep abbey helped us and showed us all the items they had ready to ship. in 5 days
And next thing was one big order with Kitchen appliances and big freezer.
I was surprise with the accuracy and service .
I got a call from the delivery guy 1 day before and they delivered all my item came in 3 days .All the items came before .time.

I just ordered an air conditioning unit from them and when I placed the order I saw there was a $150 shipping charge. This was not clearly stated on the previous page when I was putting in my information. Then when I called to cancel it, they told me there was a 10% fee for cancelling. I couldn't find this information on their site anywhere. Not only that but the 10% was on the order and the shipping! Sorry but I'll be going to a more reputable company that clearly states all of their policies and doesn't have to dupe people out of their money to make a profit.

Update 7/23: I complained to Worldwide Voltage about how they were not upfront about their charges. They did apologize and refunded me the 10%. I still would not shop there, but I do appreciate that they refunded it. I hope they are more upfront about their charges in the future for other customers.

So a couple of months ago i bought a cell phone from these guys and they got it to me on time, but there was a problem with my phone. i dont know what went wrong with it but i couldnt make calls and it would freeze up on me. so i gave them a call and they talked me through a process of returning my phone. so they couldnt fix my phone (iphone 5), but they ran out of 16 gig iphone 5's and they had a 32 gig in stock. with a little talking the nice guys told me that they could give me that phone they had in stock with no extra charge. I instantly agreed, and within days i had my phone. thanks samstores

I had ordered a multisystem dvd player, which I wanted to use oversees. I had a deadline for the item and specifically had mentioned that when I placed the order. The item was shipped in a timely manner and also the interesting thing about the whole transactions was that I was given a follow up call by the company to make sure that my dealine for the item was met.

I bought a new Maytag washer in first week of May and I was thinking that it will take more than two weeks to make it delivered to my house, but it was delivered the very next day. The guys who come to deliver take it off from the truck and put it with care inside the house, usually companies do not offer inside delivery.

The most amazing part was when I was ordering, I did not have much idea of how to choose the washer, so I called Samstores and the person named by Abbey was a great help to me. I was quite happy to me helped by a live person which online companies usually do not offer.

I have installed the washer now and really happy to order it from the right place, I would say, fast, reliable and amazing customer service.

It took almost two months between my credit card payment and the delivery of my order
1. First, I got a call from customer service : the fridge, allegedly in stock with immediate delivery on the order page, was NOT in stock after all, but it had already been paid for.
I got an offer for a similar fridge with a different brand, from Maytag to Whirlpool. I asked for an ice maker to be added to the second choice, since it had been included in my first one.... I was told that was OK, no mention of delays.
2. After 3 weeks and no news, I called and was told that the additional order of an ice maker was causing the delay...Sort of : "it's your fault". I asked for the shipment to be made without the ice maker, and was told it would leave immediately. No mention of refund for the price difference. I passed on that.
3. It took over another two weeks for the fridge to be delivered to a US address .
4. I live in the West Indies, so I eventually got the final delivery two days ago for a :
-A brandless fridge, no tag, no brand. I do not know what that thing is really worth.
-A stainless steel fridge, which only has stainless steel doors, the rest pitch black, horrible in a clear colored kitchen...
-No invoice ( apart from the first one through the order site for a different item), making it a pain to clear customs.
All that happening with absolutely NOT ONE WORD IN WRITING, NO RISK TAKEN from customer service.
5. Considering the numerous bad reviews I have read on this site, I am not even going to call customer service, enough said about such blatant dishonesty.

Try to avoid this company if you live overseas as I do....When you receive the wrong stuff, the process of complaining, returning something that has been put onto a container, has been charged by a freighter and customs, etc. is just impossible to even consider. 220 volts appliances can be bought from a regular European supplier and it will be cheaper, safer and probably faster even if you live on this side of the Atlantic. That's my lesson learned !

I spoke to.a person by the name KP. He was very friendly rep to work with. I ordered a phone with him and I received the phone witbin two days. Great customer service.

That was my first experience with samstores. I bought refurbish item from them. Previously, I always gone before big names but thank God I was not disappointed. I got a good price and my item before the expected time. I must say they deserve customers.

I wish I could give this company NO stars! The first time I called I was told that my order was back ordered. I was told I needed to wait two weeks. The next time I called they said the order should be on its way within a day or so they created a shipping label with UPS. HOWEVER I never got the package, in fact the package never left the warehouse. The company added a label for UPS and package tracking but UPS told me that they had never received the package. The company created a second shipping label and this time I was sent a package. I hooked up the DVR/ DVD player and I played a DVD for about 40 minutes when the Unit froze and stopped working altogether! I called the company and they emailed to me a form so that I could return the item. I went to the post office and paid $14 to ship the item back to the company the company then refused my return and the DVD player was sent all the way back to me. When I called the company to ask what happened they could not give me a manager. PLEASE DONT BUY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!

I ordered a fridge and stove from from them in December. They called me to tell me that the fridge I ordered was on back order for a week. That was fine since we were renovating. But after 2 weeks I called them with an update and they told an additional 3 weeks were needed. Still, fine, the price was great so I could stand waiting 3 more. Three weeks past and I called again, this time my fridge is on back order indefinitely! I didn't want a refund just a fridge, so I asked if they could find me something comparable to send instead. Which they told me to go to the website and email them what I liked. I picked 5 that said ready to order and was informed that all but one were backordered! The one that wasn't, was 500 more and they couldn't compensate me that much because they were already losing too much money on my order since they had to split the shipping. Eventually, their "customer service" rep found one for me that met my criteria: stainless steel, 25 sq ft and drink dispenser on the door. I had to spend 200 dollars more to get it. He sent me the link and it looked great. When it came to my house it was a white fridge. When I sent it back and called them, they said that I was confused and it was my mistake. I had to forward our email conversations back to them to prove that is was there mistake. It took almost 4 months to get my fridge.

Great customer friendly service. Order was processed and shipped in a timely manner.

So, we ordered a freezer from Worldwide Voltage (a subsidiary of Samstores) one month ago. They charged our credit card THAT DAY. We waited for the product to show...nothing. Finally, my husband called the company and they said it was backordered.
We received our credit card bill today...still no freezer. So my husband called the company and said he wasn't going to pay for something he didn't have. (Like I said, we actually paid for it a month ago.) The rep said he would call him back today. Guess what? No call.
Can they DO THAT? If it's not illegal, shouldn't it be?

I am a kind of person that take time to judge before opting for their service and Samstores impressed me with their awesome technical support. The website user interface is average but they are true professional with great price range. I inquired about Code free dvd player and they calmly hear all my requirement and suggested the best of the lot in my budget.

I purchased what was supposed to be a reconditioned LG dryer from Samstores a couple of months ago. The dryer did not work and Samstores was totally rude and uncooperative when I called and emailed. After a week of no response, someone called and told me that LG would be contacting me for repairs. That never happened and was in fact a lie. After contacting LG directly, I discovered that the serial number had been removed, therefore LG would not honor what should have been a one year warranty. I am now out $520.00 and have to dispose of a dryer that doesn't work. My credit card company denied my dispute because I would not pay hundreds of dollars for freight to return the dryer in hopes that these scammers might actually return my money, minus their shipping charges. Their return policies are part of their scheme and they know exactly how to work the system to steal people's money. The sad thing is nobody cares and they just keep getting away with it. DON"T BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM!

I had some tapes from over seas i wanted to watch but wasnt able to due to the herds,however then i bought this dvd/vcr combo which was 110 to 220 volts,50/60 herds, and now i can watch all kinds of tapes from the all over the world, i love it.
