I had similar experience as these other customers I see reviews from. I ordered and paid for an AC two days later I get a email saying I need to call them about proceeding with my order. So I call and they tell me Its actually going to be a refurbished AC and its probably going to take a week or so to get it out. On the Sam's Store site the items listed as refurbished but I didn't order from there so didn't know. At that point I ended up cancelling based on seeing a few other reviews with this similar M.O.. The email saying to call them then once you do call they tell you going to be something different then what you actually bought then if do get item and have an issue it's expensive to do return. On a positive note they cancelled my order no problem and got the notice of the refund the same day. Now instead of getting my AC in four days I'm left redoing my shopping and finding another new AC.

ordered TV online, received no invoice, only message to call. When I called, was told there was newer model, was it ok to substitute? Yes, I said it was OK - then received smaller size TV, made for African market with no adapter to use. No invoice was ever sent until I called complaining about wrong set. Refused to pay for return shipping charges Don't do business here.

All my items have arrived in a good amount of time, and were all packed well. It seems to me that all of their employees are very good too. They have always done their very best to resolve any issues that I have. Never have they given the whole run around about how they are "unable to do that" like other online retailers will. I will always buy from samstores.com even if its cheaper somewhere else.Customer service representative, Peter, was fantastic -- exceeding my expectations. In a nutshell, this company does not like to take merchandise back so you better make sure you know what you want before buying from Sam Stores. I returned a DVD recorder within a week with all the packaging materials just like I got it and in the same inner and outer boxes which it arrived. Finally, after much prodding and hassling I got my money back less a hefty 20% restocking charge.

This store gave me everything in 220 volts products for the best price and service. Also there was no tax . I got a discounted shipping and everything was picture perfect. Some time you feel happy when you great deal to back you up with great service. Samstores make you fell that way.

I ordered a standard 30" stove. Because they didn't have one in stock, I was sent a 30" stove but only 24" deep. Samstores insisted that I pay the shipping to return the stove. The G.E. dryer didn't come with a conversion kit to propane. The salesman insisted that that has never happened and to this day I have not received one. The transformer on the range (the 2nd range) melted when we plugged the oven in. I still have not received the part because the salesman said I sent the wrong model number which he said is not a Whirlpool but a G.E. Since I was needing help on a G.E. dryer as well as a Whirlpool Range, they thought I needed help on a G.E. range and confused the two items. I still have not been helped. I wish I had never purchased anything from Samstores because their personnel refuse to accept any responsibility for the problems saying that it was all my mistakes. Where did the adage go that the customer is always right (and in this case he was)?
