Chris came to collect our hire car today, rang when on route was very friendly when arriving and explaining what he had to do returned when his inspection was done to show me everything was alright. Very friendly and professional- even had a lovely interaction with our dog 🥰 great service

Lovely driver delivered my vehicle on time. He was very informative and knew the vehicle inside out to tell me properly how everything worked concerning the back with the wheelchair access.
Explained everything safety wise and shown me everything in the driver area too all the buttons and how the wipers and heater etc worked.
He explained everything incase there was an accident which was great to have a refresher on and what to do if i needed them for anything concerning the engine etc, it was really reassuring, so thank you for this Rob! ☺️

Our Motability car with a swivel seat…
Our Motability car with a swivel seat needed repairs after a minor accident. The WAV provided enabled my wife to attend an important physiotherapy session at a clinic 30 miles away. This journey would not have been possible on public transport. Driver Dawn rang to let us know her estimated time of arrival. She demonstrated how the restraints were fitted to my wife's empty wheelchair. She patiently helped me when I tried to secure the empty wheelchair on two attempts. This extra practice made all the difference. Thanks Dawn!

Unfortunately ......
Unfortunately the first WAV sent, in a timely manner and with a very helpful driver, did not have good headroom for wheelchair user. Investigation highlighted the vehicle sent had the same interior head height as the wheelchair occupant.
Due to BH weekend it was a further few days before another could be sent. Chris C delivered the second WAV, he too was very thorough and patient whilst I tested the height and fixings etc. Very emphatic to the situation.
Had the first delivery been acceptable the rating woul have been much higher.
