⭐ 1 Star – Unreliable and Frustrating Service

Having recently moved home, I’ve ordered a considerable amount of antique furniture, much of which has been delivered by Proovia Couriers.

Unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. Live tracking rarely works, delivery windows are wildly inaccurate, and the number of reported van breakdowns is becoming rather difficult to believe.

I’ve contacted customer services by both text and telephone, but they seem to have no more information about deliveries than I do. Not particularly helpful or reassuring.

Constant delays, poor communication and unreliable tracking make the entire experience unnecessarily frustrating.

A thoroughly disappointing service that I certainly wouldn’t recommend.

On a delivery I booked with this company in September the item arrived damaged (not unusual for Proovia) despite being packaged up well and very clearly marked as fragile. The claims process is poor, very lacking and slow and in my experience compensation usually falls very short when things goes wrong, resulting in financial loss to my company time and time again. I am still waiting for agreed compensation for the last damaged item.

On the last collection from the company the drivers were unnecessarily rude and dismissive when I was trying to help them and as English is not their first language, trying to be understood is also a challenge. They then proceeded to drive over flowers and plants in my garden border when leaving my property.

Sabin has just delivered my new table & couldn’t have been more helpful. He rang 15 minutes before his arrival; his communication was brilliant; arrived right on time; happily carried the table round to my back door.
Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Alexandru Scripcariuc was polite, friendly and cheerful. He let me know his exact time of arrival 20 minutes beforehand. The furniture was handled carefully and expertly and placed where I asked. A really easy and smooth transaction from start to finish,as always and excellent communication every step of the way from the moment the collection and delivery were booked. I would use Proovia every time.

I was kept informed of the delivery progress right from the outset and given regular updates until the item was on my doorstep!

Delivery was right on time which was excellent!

The online booking system is a joke.

Apparently they recently changed their online booking system and its an absolute joke. You used to be able to select a collection and delivery date very easily and appeared to work seeing as I had been using them for 4 years. To get a proper booking you have to now email them to which they tell you to just book online and then email them with the details of the dates required and they will manually change the booking.

In some cases you end up having to pay for a storage charge when you book online because the dates showing for delivery are about a week later. Good luck getting that refunded,

In the past few days I have lost 2 orders due to this mess costing me over £800, so I won't be using them again.

There are plenty of other couriers. I suggest people use them.

Used to be good but they recently changed how you book online and its just a mess. They claim it makes it easier but in fact its quite the opposite.

They turn up when they feel like at and some of the drivers they employ are a joke. I've had a man and women turn up and I've ended up having to help as the woman just couldn't lift
