Avevo prenotato un'auto il 2 agosto per l'11 ma dopo una settimana non mi è arrivata nessuna conferma. Allora ho provato a scrivere visto che ai vari telefoni non rispondono. Mi hanno risposto dopo un giorno, peccato che sia il giorno prima della partenza e ormai io abbia già fatto con altra compagnia spendendo molto di più. Con loro non puoi fare le cose last minute, devi prenotare con largo anticipo e verificare che arrivi la conferma, altrimenti sollecitarla.... Pessimo servizio clienti abbandonati a loro stessi....

Achtung, wir waren 10 Jahre bei Pluscar u hatten nie Probleme. Diesmal bin ich in der Tiefgarage kollidiert, also ich als Schadensverursacher, hatte mir keine Gedanken gemacht, hab ja Vollkasko ohne Selbstbehalt.
ABER IRRTUM
Das Vollkasko bezieht sich ausschließlich auf einen Unfall mit einem anderen Fahrzeug, alles andere muss man selbst bezahlen.

Mi experiencia con esta compañía de alquiler de coches fue excepcionalmente positiva. El vehículo estaba impecable y funcionaba a la perfección. El servicio al cliente fue amable y eficiente, resolviendo todas mis dudas con rapidez. Recomiendo ampliamente sus servicios a cualquiera que necesite alquilar un coche. Las reseñas negativas, no reflejan la realidad de mi experiencia.

No te informan de todas las condiciones de las opciones de pago. Si no llevas tarjeta de crédito, prepárate para que te bloqueen 300 euros de tu cuenta (cosa que solo informan a la llegada a la oficina ya que según ellos no es su forma de pago aceptada y te lo, hacen como un favor, y o aceptas o te quedas tirado sin tu coche reservado). Y te cuenta el empleado que si no te lo carga la empresa se lo descuenta a él de su nómina. Pides hoja de reclamaciones y se niegan a facilitarte un nombre para que quede registrado de quién te ha atendido. He intentado hablar con otra persona, y ha sido aún peor. Un señorita con trato altivo, condescendendiente, que también se niega a proporcionar un nombre como persona que te atiende, y que debería hacer cursos y formscion de cómo tratar al cliente y cómo intentar gestionar una reclamación. Te derivan al departamento jurídico para quitarse el problema de encima.. Nefasto todo.

Ich miete einmal im Jahr einen Mietwagen bei Pluscar, seit ca. 20 Jahren. Es ist am Anfang ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig, weil sie am Flughafen von Teneriffa kein Büro haben. Der ganze Ablauf wird auf dem Parkplatz abgewickelt. Aber dafür läuft alles relativ unproblematisch. Bei Flugverspätungen und Nachtflügen sind sie sehr flexibel. Die Rückgabe erfolgt selbstständig, indem man einfach den Wagen abstellt und den Schlüssel einwirft. Es wird wenig kontrolliert. Auf der Kreditkarte wird ein Betrag als Kaution gesperrt, der bei mir aber noch nie abgebucht wurde. Die Autos sind nicht die neuesten, aber so gut, dass man sich keine Sorgen machen muss.

These companies are a scam. You WILL NOT get your deposit back!!!!! We booked online with clear pricing, but when the vehicle was delivered, they demanded hundreds more in hidden fees. The car was also lower grade than what we reserved. They refused to answer calls and stopped responding entirely. Afterward, we found multiple reviews describing the exact same experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Llegué a las 10,30 y sabían mi hora y día de llegada, y me descontaron 20€ de la tarjeta sin comunicarme nada y cuando les llamé me dijeron ,q era de nocturnidad pero en ningún momento me comunicaron q había esa tarifa, por lo cual me siento estafado y robado. Llamé para hablar con un encargado y pasan del tema so unos !!IMPRESENTABLES !!!!!! Pero reclamaré.........

En Plus car Gran Canaria:
El coche sucio y después de una semana nos comunican que el coche cuando lo dejamos en el aeropuerto lo habíamos dejado con varios golpes y que teníamos que pagarlos.
Menos mal, que tuvimos la precaución de hacer fotos del coche cuando lo recogimos y cuando lo dejamos en el aeropuerto.

This company advertises all risk insurance, but then once we scratched the car with a column in a parking lot and we had to pay 400 euro for the damage on the car, even when they could not show any fine print where said condition was stated

Una estafa. El seguro a todo riesgo SIN FRANQUICIA no sirve para nada, nos cobraron 200€ por un rasguño que nos hicieron.

Última vez con ellos después de muchos años. Coche con 170.000 km, lleno de bollos, arañazos y sucio.
El volante degradado suelta sustancia en las manos, increíble. Los dispersores del A/A todos rotos y no dirige el aire.
Le comento esto a las chicas que te atienden para que pregunten a ver si se me puede cambiar y me dice una de ellas que "no tiene porqué llamar a nadie" y que sí está roto es por culpa de los clientes.
Cero empatía y atención al cliente después de 14 años con ellos en los que ha habido unas de cal y otras de arena. Peor empresa, imposible. Coches así no pueden ofrecerse a los clientes.

3: Unauthorized transactions from your credit card.
4: Failure to return your rental deposit.

This company is operating an elaborate scam with tourists. Beware.
We hired a car for a short break, received a WV T Cross, not what we booked but were happy to accept the change on arrival to the airport. On taking the car, it began to become clear that there was an underlying mechanical issue with the clutch / gearbox. Trouble selecting low gears, clutch not disengaging making the car stall at roundabouts etc.
Reported to the company, which turns out it is Carzrent and Auto Plus Car operating together. They didn't respond immediately, i had to chase it the next day. Eventually told they would send a mechanic to the vehicle at a pre arranged time, 17:00, as we had walked to planned activities that day due to not wanting to use the rental car.
Between the time we had discussed by Whatsapp and the planned time to meet the mechanic, the company had arrived and taken the car away without us present. They said they were giving us another car at 18:00 and we would meet them with it. Eventually at 18:45 2x representatives of the company arrived, extremely rude and blaming us for breaking the vehicle. Little did we know at this point, they were charging my credit card unauthorized for the repair to the vehicle and the collection from the roadside etc. They have take the rental deposit of 300 euros and taken a further £420 from my credit card.
They are a complete scam company and i find it quite amusing that once a negative review is posted, a 5 star review appears... mmmm, i am not a detective but i can smell something fishy!

In summary... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL TAKE UNAUTHORISED MONEY FROM YOU AND NOT RETURN YOUR RENTAL DEPOSIT.

They have been reported to the authorities in the Canary Islands.

Alquilamos en esta empresa sobretodo por publicitar el seguro todo riesto incluido sin franquicia; ESTAFA; al recibir un golpe en el aparcamiento del hotel, sin identificar, cobraron sin permiso 200€ en la tarjeta, previa presentación de la documentción requerida. ESTAFADORES.

I have rented from Pluscar Tenerife before with no problems, but this time they asked for a deposit of 300€. I returned the car on time 23.12.24, with plenty of fuel and was promised to get the deposit back in 5 days… it has now been two weeks and they haven’t returned the deposit, or answered my emails. Will update my review, if they return my money.
EDIT: it took one month, instead of 5 days but I got the deposit back. So I changed my review from 1 to 3 stars.

Dejan el coche en la reserva y luego lo dejas con más gasolina y no te devuelve nada.

I ordered automatic car. Paid for it extra money to compare with mechanical. On the day they gave me mechanical. Did not say anything as it was 3 am and I was with my toddler. Contacted the administration to ask for a refund of difference they said they dont do refunds. They can change the car however it was my last days in the islands so there was no point to change it. Then they offered to bring car with empty fuel but they gave me with empty fuel on the first day. Avoid.

We booked a car and used it for one week. The Mercedes GLC.
To start off, the car STANK of cannabis. I have three children, this was not appropriate. My husband brought a scent to try and get rid of the smell but nothing worked. They had given us the car firstly with the window open so initially we couldn’t smell anything (convenient) but after parking the car with the windows closed for a few hours the smell was unbearable. The front left side suspension was near broken, the noise it was making was ridiculous and every second we thought we were going to crash. It was a horrible experience and I will not be recommending anyone to rent a car from here.
