Dishonest Company
I put in an order for a game for a friend’s birthday present on Jun 11 2026, it said it was in stock and would deliver within a 21 day timeframe. It would have made it in time for the birthday.
Today is July 28th. Here is what is happening:
-Ordered game on June 11th, payment processed and completed. Game status, in stock.
- Sent an email on July 27th (the delivered date that was mentioned when I purchased the game.) inquiring about status.
- Received a generic reply about working with a vendor on the order.
- Recieved an order shipped email on July 17th, but tracking number was invalid.
- When asked about where and what happened to product, the response was that it could take up to 30 days. The package was being sent from Hong Kong, to my address in Tokyo.
I also just added the same product to my basket today, and it says the package would arrive in Japan between Aug 11th to 18th.
Summary: Dishonest time frames and no accountability. They say sorry a lot, but sorry doesn’t make up for giving false delivery dates. Then doubling down on 30 day economy delivery especially as the package is only going from Hong Kong to Japan. By the way, on the site it says up to 21 days, so unsure where the 30 days comes from. Also the game was said to be in stock, so unsure as to why it was shipped out 36 days later from order date.
Advice: Look to other vendors unless it’s a rare game you can only find on Play Asia. If you do purchase, disregard the shipping date range they give you. For me, it’s been 47 days and I don’t know where and when my package will arrive, or if it’ll arrive. Incredibly disappointed and will never use their services again.

A serious site like Playasia should check the actual quantity of the product first. I placed the order twice and it was cancelled at checkout due to problems. Seeing myself denied the game a third time is humiliating. I'm disappointed in playasia.

Got completely wrong game
They sent me a completely wrong game. I ordered the new game "Dewdrop Dynasty" and I got a DLC "Codename CURE II – Combat Specialist Pack (ROW)". After contacting the support I had to send six screenshots from my Steam account with lot of personal data. Now I'm waiting since almost one day for a refund. Really bad experience and never buying again with you.

A terrible platform
A terrible platform that makes you questions whether it's legitimate.
After spending big money to purchase a product (the collector's edition of a game), only then they said they are out of stock.
If you can't provide sufficient stock, then don't make the false advertising of it.
They said they will refund my money, but I haven't heard from them for several days.
I attempt to contact them. Despite claiming responses won't take more than 24 hours, it has already been more than that and I still haven't receive a single response.
It's definitely not within weekends, so it is not an excuse for this poor and slow customer service.

It works, but don't buy if you want things fast
Bought a $150 Nintendo eShop Card, they kept my order "On Hold" for 4 days (for no reason, since this is a digital purchase), and I missed the opportunity to buy some games on sale.
Customer support is super slow to answer, it took 2 days between each message.
