Hello everyone and good day I ordered the resident evil generation pack on the switch and I looked everywhere and I really got excited to see 3 left in stock in play-asia so I didn't hesitate to order my copy I was so happy and filled with joy and I when I paid and received an invoice literally an invoice like a confirmation of the order next day I receive a long apology from their team stating it wasn't in stock? And then I tried to ask why would it happen like how there were 3 in stock I didn't get a clarifying answer on how that happened but I asked for a refund now it's more than a week I wanted a track for my refund they didn't send me one and like I said in my email first time buying from them and last time and I'm gonna be warning my friends about that site till the day I die

Its my first time ordering at playasia and i have to give it a 1 star. I ordered the Nikke Material Book (order Number is #64877204) and CS number is (19729377 &19735625) because i only could upload 3 images. The Item WAS IN STOCK at the 4th of April but instead of the material book i did got art book. I didnt wrapp of the seeling and i was wondering how the F hairs got under the wrapping. Im super frustrated and angry about this looks to me that playasia takes his Job not very serious. After checking the Shop again the material book is obviously now out of Stock and gets back at the 30th April because its considerd a collectable now.
I will change this Review if we get things done, but after i saw the condition of it with hairs under the wrapping a simple refund or something else is not enough. I hope you can send me the right item after we get things Sorted out.
If we get this sorted out i will change my review but so far a 1 star for me very disappointing.

I bought the Deluxe Box of Crimson Desert for PS5, and with all the fees it came to 188 euros.
Then they sent me an email saying it was no longer in stock and that only the Japanese version was available. Even so, I accepted. That box cost 107 euros, which means I should have a balance of 81 euros.
I told them I wanted the Asian version and chose Resident Evil Requiem for PS5.
Then they emailed me asking to pay the shipping fee for Resident Evil. Fine, I paid an extra 5 euros.
After that, they sent another email saying that the Crimson Desert box was still not available.
I asked them to send Resident Evil first while I waited for the Crimson Desert box.
And now they are charging me an additional 98 euros.
They are incompetent, liars, and scammers.
I do not recommend that anyone buy anything from this damn site.

I purchased an item from this company and received the incorrect product almost 20 days ago.
I contacted customer service immediately and provided all the requested information and proof. Since then, I have sent multiple emails and opened several tickets trying to resolve this issue.
Throughout this entire time, I have repeatedly been told to wait while the matter is being “investigated,” with no clear timeline or resolution.
At this point, the company has already acknowledged that they sent the wrong item. There is no reasonable justification to continue asking me for more time and patience.
This situation has gone far beyond acceptable. Making a customer wait this long for a simple refund, after admitting the mistake, is both unreasonable and disrespectful.
I expect this issue to be resolved immediately and my refund to be processed without any further delay.

edit: 4/14 They are now trying to get this review taken down. Manipulative predatory liars. Beware! They also cancelled another preorder I had because they oversold again.
What happened to PlayAsia?! They used to be a reputable company.
They take orders for items that they don't have, then string you along with delays.
Then they refuse to refund your money, instead saying they will "refund" your money to their PlayAsia wallet. That's not a refund!
They have been running me in circles for over three weeks with claims of a "technical issue" with PayPal which prevents them from issuing a refund, instead pressuring me to agree for them to continue to hold my money in their "PlayAsia wallet". No!
I preordered 2 items and also purchased an in stock PS5 game back in January. In late February they email me to tell me the PS5 game is sold out and no longer available. I've been trying to get my money back for over a month now.
I then thought to search online if other people are having this issue - which brought me here. Yes indeed this isn't an isolated issue.
I now filed a claim with PayPal, which they promptly approved. PlayAsia then emailed me saying my claim was the reason PlayAsia couldn't issue the refund, and that if I withdrew the PayPal claim then PlayAsia would promptly issue my refund.
I responded with confusion, asking how could you issue the refund when you told me a dozen times previously that you couldn't issue a refund because of a "technical issue".???
When they finally responded, they again blamed the hold up on me and my PayPal claim, and they stated they would issue my refund to their PlayAsia wallet if I withdrew my complaint. That's not a refund!
BEWARE! Super shady behavior from this Chinese company.
I see they are still taking preorders for other items I know are extremely limited and sold out everywhere. They are stealing people's money and holding it interest free in their PlayAsia wallet. Don't let them do this to you! File complaint and claim with your credit card company or PayPal immediately if they do this to you.

I am writing this because I already know this complaint will likely receive the usual automatic response telling me to contact you by email.
The problem is: I HAVE BEEN SENDING EMAILS.
It has now been SIXTEEN days since I received the incorrect item and opened a ticket. I have sent countless emails and used your customer service system multiple times. All I have received so far are repeated responses saying that there is “no update yet.”
My last response, 4 days ago, was that you were “waiting for an answer from the team” and trying to expedite the process. Since then, I have received no further communication.
At this point, it feels like I am being ignored instead of having my issue resolved.
This is regarding order #64561063. I have already provided all the required information and evidence. There is no justification for this delay.
PLEASE resolve this issue and process my refund.
I hope that if you respond to this review (since you seem to respond here but not to my emails), it will be with an actual solution and my refund already in progress.

Paid for an item, got an email a day later to tell me the item was actually not in stock, but my only refund options are wallet credit and not original payment method. Never heard such plain lies before, raised a dispute with Paypal and reccomend everyone else does the same.
Used to be a great shop but now I'll be forever avoiding it.
Edit: Customer support is asking me to close the PayPal Dispute and they'll "definitely" refund me then. NEVER DO THIS, ITS A SCAM. ALWAYS ESCALATE WITH PAYPAL.

Here’s today email reply from the scam store Playasia, ‘Please allow us to clarify: at this time, the only refund option available is through wallet funds.’ Till today I’m as a customer was force to pick 2 options from them, 1 is that have my refund to wallet funds, 2 is that have my refund transfer back to my original payment and I picked this option, and it is almost coming to a month now, I yet to get my refund, I kept getting force to put my refund into Playasia’s wallet funds, nah, at this point my time had been wasted, I can keep repeating saying the same thing, Playasia want me to put my hard earn money into their disgusting wallet funds, then Playasia better triple my original payment, the stress and wait I had to deal with them and not seeing my order or money coming to me, constantly lie to me 5 to 7 business days is all they needed to refund me, forcing me to have my refund return to their wallet funds and have the guts to tell me is safe and can purchase anything with it in the future, the time and money I wasted to go find the item which their supplier messed up the order, Playasia can ask their supplier to pay for this mistake since they like to blame their supplier for it, I have an invoice for the purchase of the item Playasia can’t get it for me, is 3 times the original price, I also gave Playasia 3 options, why don’t Playasia pick one? My options is all joke to them, Playasia have 4 days left to refund me, I’ll be happy and waste my hard earn money just to sue Playasia at this point.
